“How to End the Year”
Greetings partners! Can you believe that we have come to the end of another year? God has been so amazingly good to each and every one of us and to have come to the culmination of 2023 is a sure indication of His goodness. I wanted to take some time to point out a few things that will be useful in culminating the year. The Bible gives us an indication that we should pay attention to how we end a thing. Hear Solomon’s advice in Ecclesiastes 7:8: Ecclesiastes 7:8 - Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Now if you’re like me, you would be wondering, “how can the end of a thing be better than the beginning?” Especially since so much joy comes in starting. The real reason why the end of a thing is better then the beginning is because the end is a time of “manifestation.” God would like us to understand that at the end of a thing we should be seeing the results of what we have been believing for. Put plainly, it’s time to get excited about the things that God has promised for 2023 coming to pass! I remember saying in 2022 that 2023 was the year of “total debt freedom.” For our church and many of our constituents, this came to pass! Now, there is still time left for more dreams to come into fruition before this year is up. I encourage you to meditate the following as you prepare to close this year out. I want to give you three points along with insight scriptures that will help you end the year: 1. Believe for That Which Was Promised: Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;) Holding fast to what God has promised is so key to seeing a move of God in your life. If God promised it, the only thing that can stop it is us giving up on what He said. “Don’t quit,” hold on to what God said even if it seems like you’re going into overtime in faith; you’ll be glad you did after manifestation.
2. Look To God for Insight on the Hold Ups: James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. So many believers get to a stopping point in their manifestation and resort to quitting instead of asking God “what’s going on?” When Joshua lost one battle, he came to God and found out why they lost (Joshua 7:2-13). It is crucial to get insight from God if you don’t feel like you’re progressing. We do this through prayer, time in the Word, and wise counsel. 3. Be Reflective and Grateful for Everything That Has Occurred: Ephesians 5:20 - Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Gratefulness in every situation is a needed character strength. I have learned that being thankful adjusts my attitude; once I adjust my attitude, I can adjust my faith. So often we are downtrodden about something that has not gone our way and we refuse to stand up and praise for all of the good in our lives. No matter what has occurred, God has been good in 2023, we must know this. Reflect on how you have seen the goodness of the Lord in things great and small. This will set you up for breakthrough, because faith works when joy and peace are evident (Romans 15:13). It’s so important to put scriptural fittings on how you view every time and season in God. The end of the year is a pivotal time to also project your victories for next year. As you will soon hear of our 2024 theme in your January partner letter, 2024 will be a year of great success for Believers. I encourage you to be in great expectation for all that God wants do as you close this year and start the next. God bless you, partners, and thank you so very much for all of your financial support and prayers in 2023. It has been a tremendous year! With Love, Pastor Gabe

The Greatest Gift
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15 (NLT) If you ask 50 people what Christmas means to them, you are likely to get 50 different answers. Christmas means so many things to so many people, but to me and others who share the same sentiments, Christmas is another reminder in the year of the love that God has for me and for all humanity. Jesus is and will always be the reason for the season! The historical fact of His birth is a story that is well known and one that remains forever treasured in my heart. It is a story of redemption, love, and hope. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16). This verse gives us a clear understanding of why Jesus was born. God looked into this world that is so effected by sin, and He saw the condition of mankind. He saw me and He saw you and He saw that we were going to die because of sin and that we would be eternally lost in hell. Because of His great love for us, He decided He would send someone else to bear our punishment and die our death, giving us the opportunity to live an abundant life on earth and then one day living with Him eternally in Heaven. It is for this first and greatest reason that Jesus did come. He was born to be our substitute. Although He was sinless and innocent, He died our death and paid our penalty for sin. His coming was God’s amazing gift to humanity, and it is unlike any other gift you have or will ever receive. The greatest gift that anyone can receive this Christmas is the free gift of eternal life that only comes through repentance and placing one’s faith in what Jesus did on the cross. If you have not received Jesus, God’s indescribable gift, I urge you to do so by acknowledging and receiving Him as Lord and Savior and yielding the highest place in your life to Him. Merry Christmas!

Ways to Keep Christ in Christmas
As we celebrate this Christmas season with loved ones, let us keep in mind the true “reason for the season”. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” - Isaiah 9:6 Here are five ways to keep Jesus Christ at the heart of Christmas this year: 1. Send out Christmas cards that include scriptures. 2. If participating in Christmas festivities at work, refuse to participate in anything that does not uphold Christian values. 3. During Christmas celebrations, take time to reflect on the goodness of the Lord and recognize the significance of the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus. 4. Be mindful of the Christmas music that you play. Choose to listen to Christian Christmas songs. 5. Throughout this Christmas season, spread the love of Jesus by seizing every opportunity to evangelize by faith and make disciples of Christ.
Thanksgiving 2.0 Thank God for Pastor Gabe and his vision! Pastor Gabe has desired to serve families at the Kingdom Community Building on Thanksgiving for the past few years. I was honored to help lead along with Stephanie Baheth, the Thanksgiving 2.0 project. KCC 2.0 is another vision that God placed on Pastor Gabe’s heart. The goal for KCC 2.0 is to have 1000 additional active members. As we were planning for the Thanksgiving luncheon, there were a number of potential hurdles that we faced. One of those was the lack of responsiveness from the original group that we targeted. Pastor encouraged us to pivot and the Lord had already opened up other doors for us to contact various organizations. The week prior to Thanksgiving the Lord laid it in my heart to contact local group homes and invite them to Thanksgiving service and lunch. I contacted a number of group homes and received the warmest response from the Miracle Houses. On Thanksgiving, the Miracle Houses brought 25 staff and children to have service and lunch with us. Seven additional members of the community and local school families attended as well. Thirty-two people total attended Thanksgiving service and lunch. Both the staff and the children continue to make plans to attend church. They truly felt the love of Jesus and our Pastor on Thanksgiving. I pray that they continue to attend and ultimately join to become true disciples of Jesus. By: Elisa Fulp
CHRISTMAS BAZAAR Merry Christmas KCC! We held our annual Christmas Bazaar this year on December 2, 2023. We had a blast as we enjoyed great food, games, shopping at the vendor tables, and of course BIG GIVEAWAYS! This year was a tremendous success and we are so grateful to our Pastor and First Lady for their generosity and love for the people of God.
Mortgage Burning What a mighty God we serve! On December 2, 2023, we celebrated Kingdom Christian Church’s debt freedom with our official Mortgage Burning Ceremony. Pastor Rogers gave a powerful devotion. We also had special remarks from our beautiful First Lady and Pastor Rondy Long of Kingdom Church of Houston. After the service, Pastor Rogers prayed over everyone’s debt and the members burned their debts as an act of faith. At the end, every member received a KCC tote bag with the God Market mini book and a seedtime & harvest journal to record all of our seeds by faith!
