A Letter from Pastor Gabriel Rogers Dear Church Members and Partners, Please allow me to start this letter off by saying “thank you!” I appreciate how much you have supported my Vision at Kingdom Christian Church. At the end of 2022, the Lord told me that 2023 would be a year of debt freedom. We coined the phrase, “Debt Free in 2023”, and God has helped us to meet this goal at the end of the third quarter! Our Community Building, Grace House and now, Church Campus, is totally paid off! What is so amazing about these accomplishments is the fact that we still have a quarter left in the year! What else is God going to do before this year culminates? The Word of God declares in Joshua 13:1, Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the Lord said to him: “You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed. This phrase “very much land yet to be possessed” rings out in my heart as opportunities to further impact the world for the Kingdom of God. Now that we are debt free, we cannot stop our pursuit for more. In fact, debt free properties simply mean that our home base is paid for, however, we still have so many revolving needs to be met every month, like our television outlets, staff budgets, outreaches of every type and ongoing bills and maintenance. We cannot stop gaining ground. The vision that God has given me is so big and vast. We still have so many ministries to launch and properties to acquire for the glory of God, we’ve only just begun our real impact on the world. As we take a small moment to pause and reflect, I want you to know that I appreciate every prayer you prayed, every dime you have sown, and effort that you placed into helping to make this vision come to past. I’m so glad to be the leader of a ministry of this caliber and I cannot wait to see how this story will continue to unfold. As we continue to honor God, there is a Bible promise that we will also be honored. God said through Samuel in 1 Samuel 2:30, “those who who honor Me I will honor.” What does that mean KCC? If we continue to make God’s agenda our agenda and show forth His plan in the earth, God is indeed going to honor us. I encourage you to meditate the fact that “God is faithful.”

We have seen His faithfulness in the past 13 years of our existence. Our church is not a century old, but we are groves ahead of what the average church our age typically looks like. All of this is because “God is with us” and I am convinced of that fact. I close this letter by acknowledging that our God works wonders. The Psalmist said is so well in Psalm 77:14: Psalm 77:14 New King James Version 14 You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples God has worked wonders in our midst yet again, and I am so excited to be a part of His plan in this hour. Thank you again for your support. I encourage you to thumb through the commemorative issue and reflect on just how many wonders God has worked through KCC and please know that the half has not even been told. I look forward to many more years of wonderful moments at KCC. With Love, Gabriel Rogers, PhD Senior Pastor Kingdom Christian Church

Through the goodness and grace of God, we celebrate such a historic day and tremendous blessing in the life of our church. I consider this to be our “Exodus moment”, in that God has made a way through the “Red Sea of debt”. Our Pastor declared in 2022, Debt Free in 2023, and none of us could have calculated with complete precision and accuracy what God would have in store for our church as we stood in faith and managed finances to pursue a mortgage payoff. Our Pastor led our congregation in committing to seed sowing and increasing our faith and God responded by setting us free from the chains of debt. Shouts of praise and sounds of rejoicing mark this occasion as we now prepare for the burning of the church’s mortgage. Hallelujah! From day one, God promised that if we remained faithful to Him in all things, that He would never forsake us and provide all that we need. We decided to do just that, and He has kept every word of His promise. As I reflect over the life of our ministry, 13 years ago to the present, I am so extremely thankful for the faithfulness of God. He has kept us fortified and positioned to do His work, despite persecution and a rapidly changing world and culture. My most memorable experiences of our early years are many. Prior to launching our first service, I will always remember Pastor leading Bible study in our home while I was on bedrest

Personal Reflections on the Goodness of God First Lady Rogers with our daughter and first born, Lauren. Over the next six years of ministry, our church grew, but so did our family. We welcomed three more children; all sons, Gabriel, Christian and Stephen, to our family, and I immediately begin balancing bedtimes with Bible study, toddlers with occasional teaching and more family demands with ministry demands. It has and continues to be a blessed journey. I also remember clearly in the early years helping to cart in speakers for set up, sometimes in the cold and rain. There were also several instances during the winter months when we would worship in a cold gym because the school system forgot to turn the heat on.

Summer months were not so bad, except on those Sundays when the school system forgot to turn the air on. There were also times that we arrived at the school but could not enter because the custodian forgot to unlock the door. Those were glorious days and those experiences most certainly nurtured our faith. The mission of our ministry has always been promoting the agenda of Jesus and helping people to reach their full potential in Him. We have seen the dead raised back to life, people healed from various health conditions and many others who began to prosper and continued to prosper until they became very prosperous. We have never seen a financial deficit and every-singleneed of the

ministry has always been sufficiently supplied for. Most notable in these years is witnessing the wonderful change that has happened in the lives of those who heard the Gospel and invited Christ into their life. What I appreciate most about this journey is being the one that God chose to walk alongside my husband-pastor. I am his best and most supportive member and wear that badge with great delight. This special edition of the Kingdom Gazette is a celebration commemorating our church’s new status as a debt-free ministry. It is also an example of how God honors a people who decides to honor Him in all things. To God be the glory!

The Inception of Kingdom Christian Church Our Story Ki ngdom Chri sti an Church was establ i shed under the gui dance of the Hol y Spi ri t. Our story began i n the spri ng of 2010 wi th God’ s commi ssi on to Pastor Rogers to “promote the agenda of Jesus Chri st” i n the ci ty of Charl otte, NC. There were more than 100 peopl e i n attendance that Sunday and Pastor Rogers’ s fi rst sermon for the openi ng servi ce was “When God Gets the Gl ory”. Youth & Children’s Ministry The youth ministry of KCC has experienced tremendous growth and continues to provide care and spiritual direction for our youth. At each level of the ministry, the youth receive sound, age-appropriate, and engaging teaching that challenges and helps them grow in their faith. Over the years we have offered a variety of youth programs and team building events that have been both fun and educational and has also met the spiritual needs of our youth. Youth Bible studies meet regularly on Thursday evenings during Bible study and again on Sunday mornings. From age 5 to 18, our youth are taught that their relationship with God is priority and how not to be influenced by the culture of our times and everything in the world that would try to pull them in a different direction. All activities, from Bible studies and college tours to youth outings, are helping to build Christian character, morals, and values.

Church Acquisition building was help Sunday, November 13, just as we had believed. God has continued to show Himself strong on behalf of the ministry.

Within 4 years of our existence, during the winter of 2014, the LORD spoke to our Pastor that it was now time to expand the vision and build. Our Pastor shared with his wife what the LORD had spoken and with that one word from the LORD and strong faith, our Pastor began to search out the land to build the LORD a house. At the onset of Spring 2014, the LORD showed Pastor Rogers 12 acres of land.Ironically, he had visited this exact site as a possible Bible study venue a few years earlier, not knowing what God had planned for him just a short time later. Pastor Rogers adopted the phrase “Boots on the Ground” to ready the church, performance and sustainability was added to our focus, and we became equipped and ready to build God a house.

As with any work of God, we were met with great opposition. Most notable occurred during the acquisition process when the bank that had originally committed to financing our project, suddenly backed out. Obstacles were plenteous, but Pastor Rogers faced them all with a steadfast faith in the goodness and faithfulness of God.

The LORD blessed us to acquire our current property and our first worship service in our current building was broadcast to be held Sunday, November 13, 2016. Pastor Rogers was met with one last challenge.

After having broadcast the date for our opening service, the certificate of occupancy that was to be received on November 11, was actually delayed and prevented us from entering the building as scheduled. Rather than moving the date of our first service, Pastor Rogers stood firm in faith and

God honored his faith with an afterhours call from the General Contractor stating the Fire Marshall had indeed signed the certificate of occupancy and our worship service could go on as planned. Our first worship service in our current

With more growth thereafter came the need for space to accommodate discipleship and fellowship. In July 2020, through faith in God’s Word and financial stewardship, we completed the Kingdom Community Building, debt free, to the glory of God.Pastor Rogers continues to honor God by using every acre of our property for the glory of God. Thousands of lives have been impacted on our church’s campus; however, this is just the beginning as “there remains very much land yet to be possessed.” (Joshua 13:1)

Right Now Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Kingdom Community Building

Pastor Rogers and family partaking in the tape cutting ceremony In July 2020, through faith in God’s Word and financial stewardship, the Kingdom Community Building (KCB) was completed. Through the leadership of Pastor Rogers, the Kingdom Community Building was built debt-free and under budget during a pandemic. The members and partners of Kingdom Christian Church gathered at the Tape Cutting Ceremony to celebrate and acknowledge the faithfulness of God even, in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. This was just one of the many ways God has shown His faithfulness and goodness through the ministry. The Kingdom Community Building is a space that cultivates fellowship and discipleship of the believer. It is also a space where classes, seminars, and youth events are held.

The KCB is a place for individuals to fellowship together

Some of those events include kingdom workout groups, summer camp, singles’ game nights, and various life groups. Additionally, the KCB houses the Kingdom Cafe, which serves meals each Sunday following service. The Kingdom Cafe has maintained a 100 grade sanitation rating, to the glory of God. In alignment with Pastor Rogers’ vision, the Kingdom Community Building truly fosters an atmosphere of love, unity, and fellowship.

CONFERENCES It is the vision of Pastor Gabriel Rogers for Kingdom Christian Church to be a comprehensive ministry that promotes the agenda of Jesus Christ. KCC is actively fulfilling that vision by hosting relevant and anointed annual conferences and seminars that both equip and empower the believer. One of our largest annual conferences is the Faith Conference which is held in August. The Faith Conference is a time for members and partners alike to be strengthened in their faith by the Word of God. The Women's conference is another annual conference that always brings a mighty move of God. This is a power-packed weekend filled with anointed preaching, teaching, and dynamic fellowship that propels women in their relationship with God.

2023 WOMEN’S CONFERENCE “FERVENT IN SPIRIT”

CONFERENCES We also host seminars tailored for families that include, “Help! I’m Married!” and “Help! I’m a Parent!” These seminars are packed with both spiritual and practical tools for walking out God’s design for marriage and Spirit-filled families. Other dynamic conferences and seminars have included Help! I’m in Debt!, Christian Mental Health Conference, Love Life conference, Pastoral Anniversary, and our annual Leadership/Vision conference. Our Spirit-filled conferences and seminars are instrumental in helping the Believer to sustain his or her personal walk with the Lord and truly live a life of comprehensive Christianity.

YOUTH & CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Kingdom Christian Church continues to enhance the youth ministry by having Youth Church on every second and fourth Sunday of each month during the 9am hour. Pastor Rogers desire was to give the youth a space to call their own specifically during morning worship. Our youth take dignity in honoring God by learning what it means to be a Christian and grow up as the next generation of conducting church. They take part in offering exhortations, worship songs, and giving. This has been proven to be a highlight of their week.

After church on Sundays, youth enjoy the great outdoors during Youth Play which continues to incentivize them to love Jesus in an enjoyable and secure environment. GodEsteem for Girls teaches our young girls to embrace their femininity in Christ while equipping them to attack the lies of the culture that target to hinder them from their purpose in God. Power Tools for Boys educates our young boys to walk in integrity and honor while affirming their masculinity in Christ.

Tutoring sessions are held on Thursdays. Youth Zone is another initiative for youth to come out and relax with games and food prior to youth bible study. They learn about different relevant topics to grow into a comprehensive Christian. Life Groups are held to address unpopular topics such as purity to avoid getting lost in this highly sexualized culture by “taking heed” to God’s Word according to scripture (Ps. 119:9)

Additionally, in recent years, Summer Camp was started to maintain godliness and intelligence. Things such as food, accredited teachers, well vetted volunteers, trips, games and much more to keep youth engaged during the summer months.

As Pastor Rogers vision continues to expand and grow, the youth are never left out. Our Pastor takes great pleasure in seeing our youth enjoy Jesus and remain in the Will of God for their life. We look forward to the next level of youth ministry! We welcome you to come and be a part of something great at Kingdom Christian Church.

THE GRACE HOUSE The year 2023 was a year of fulfillment for KCC. Pastor Rogers’ vision of building a home, Grace House, for unwed mothers and their children came into fruition. The Grace House is a 6 bedroom and 6 bath home equipped with top of the line appliances and finishes that would make anyone boast in the Lord!

The second event was the memorable tape cutting ceremony. On Mother’s Day, May 14th, 2023, Pastor Rogers cut the tape on the Grace House and dedicated it to God. Attendees praised and thanked God for the completion of the brick and mortar phase which was completed debt-free and under budget.

Pastor Rogers' vision for this home is to provide a supportive network in a Christian environment where women can be healed, delivered and set free from their past. This home will house 5 women and a house mother along with their children.

During the tape cutting ceremony, Pastor Rogers reminded members that the Grace House is a ministry that will help unwed moms and their children get back on track and discover the will of God for their lives.

There were two major events that took place in the Grace House project. One event was the ground breaking ceremony of the Grace House that took place on June 5, 2022. Members who attended the ceremony walked away with a mini glass jar with soil souvenirs.

First Lady Rogers, Pastor Marilyn Gool of Victory Christian Center and other ministry partners expressed their excitement for the mission and vision of the Grace House. KCC members and partners were able to take a brief tour of the home to see what the Lord had done.

Looking Forward Genesis 13:14-15 And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are— northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever

THE NEW KCC 2.0

The KCC 2.0 initiative is the next step to promoting the agenda of Jesus Christ to the masses. In our quest to make disciples and grow the ministry to 1,000 active members, Pastor Rogers has launched several group projects designed to reach people from all ages and stages of life. The KCC 2.0 team consists of church members who are on fire for the things of God, have a genuine desire to see both the Kingdom of God and the ministry grow, and who are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

MISSIONS BUILDING

Out of Pastor Rogers commitment to taking care of both the physical and spiritual needs of the people in our community, the vision for a missions building was born. This building will be an extension of KCC’s current outreach ministry. Currently, the plan is to utilize the new facility to either house homeless men or impoverished families.

YOUTH BUILDING

Pastor Rogers has always had a heart for preserving the next generation. As he observed the state of the world today, he received a vision from the Lord to build a Christian youth building on the campus. This building will serve as the headquarters for all youth events, services, seminars, and conferences. Pastor Rogers has plans to establish a K12 school for children and youth in the near future.
