The goal of our efforts is to find the best Miss Ohio and potential Miss America. This responsibility rests solely in the hands of our distinguished judges. When the contestants appear before them in the various competitions these judges will consider their attributes and their ability to represent the ideal American woman; a woman with dignity, poise, charm and beauty, as well as the necessary intellect, education and talent to carry Ohio’s hopes to the coveted Crown of Miss America.
The Miss America Organization is not looking for a beauty queen; there are dozens in every state. We are seeking a woman capable of symbolizing American ideals and standards while carrying out this responsibility in the interest of her country.

To the Miss America & Miss America’s Teen family and friends,
My vision is to set the stage for the next chapter with the mission that has run through every facet of this brand for decades. A mission embedded within the very essence of our program, “Empowering Women To Lead” through scholarship, community service, personal style, and success, all symbolized by the ‘four points’ of the crown, set upon a foundation of sisterhood.
Miss America & Miss America’s Teen programs have always been invested in creating a strong network of women who make a positive difference in the world. Our programs are foundational in helping to foster the next generation of strong, confident, and compassionate leaders.
Education is one of the most powerful tools we have for empowering young women. By providing opportunity, access, and financial support for quality education, we are helping to break down barriers and open new opportunities for young women to advance.
Community service is a key component of our programs. Encouraging young women to give back to their communities helps them to develop a sense of empathy, compassion, and social responsibility.
Personal style development helps young women to express their individuality, promoting self-confidence, selfexpression, and self-esteem. Personal style is about creating a unique and individual expression of oneself that reflects who you are and how you want to be seen in the world.
Encouraging young women to pursue their dreams, set goals, and work hard to achieve them, instills resilience and determination that will serve them well throughout their lives. Measuring success through accomplishments provides a sense of satisfaction, recognition, and motivation to continue pursuing one’s goals.
Overall, by Empowering Women to Lead we create a brighter, more equitable, and more compassionate future for all. I invite everyone to join me in stepping into the future, going back to the principles upon which this iconic program was built, Scholarship, Service, Style, and Success.
