Miss Ohio's Year

Thank You!
This year would not have been possible without the help of many special people…
Mom, you hold half of this crown. Thank you for every phone call, every piece of advice, every article of clothing purchased….this year would not have been possible without you. Thank you for supporting me through the ups and downs. I love you.
Dad, there is no way I would have gotten through this year without your help. Thank you for your willingness to help out in any way you can- whether it was helping me pack, driving me to an appearance, sending me a text to make sure I made it where I needed to go, or just asking about my day.
Leo, thank you for putting up with all this craziness and being flexible. Thank you for always taking a snapchat with me or letting mw borrow your sports t-shirts for appearances. I hope you enjoyed my car.
The rest of my family, thank you for your endless love and unconditional support. Seeing you all make trips out to see me compete or attend my appearances meant the world to me.
To the Miss Ohio Board, thank you for believing in me. Thank you for doing anything in your power to help me reach my highest potential and for your continuous support and help throughout the year.
To Henri’s, Graham Chevrolet, Miller’s Jewelry, Sylvart, and the rest of my sponsors. Thank you for being a part of my journey to Miss America and beyond. Thank you for your support of the Miss Ohio Scholarship program. None of this would be possible without you.
To my teen, Madison. I love you so much. Thank you for becoming my best friend this year; you have done an impeccable job. Juggling appearances, school, music and more- you inspire me. To Candace, thank you for your hospitality and for all of our talks, oh, and for also drinking your coffee out of a straw.
To Becky, I would not be the person I am without you, I would not be here without you. Thank you for being such an amazing mentor, but more importantly the sister I never had. I love you so much.
To my sweet Miss Ohio sisters, I am so proud and honored to be a part of such a prestigious sorority. Thank you for all the sweet texts, for letting me bum on your couch, or being there to answer questions and let me pick your brains. Can’t wait for many more reunions.
To the Bishops, Terri and Sharon, Kim, and every single person in the Miss Ohio Crew. Miss Ohio would not be what it is without you, having a team like all of you is so special- not many other states have one. I will never forget the echo’s of OH in Boardwalk Hall. Thank you for letting me into your family even though I was almost a complete stranger at the start of this year. Thank you for the hugs and the high fives. Heres to making memories and having fun.
To my friends. Thank you for your patience, for lending a listening ear, for helping me in anyway you can and most importantly staying by my side <3
To every single person who supported me on my journey, whether it was a donation, a sweet Facebook comment, coming to an event, or even following my year, thank you. I could not be more grateful for all the support I have received this whole year. My heart is full.
Thank you for being a part of my symphony, Alice Magoto
