For the summer months, why not spend 30 seconds each day reading and praying through the points of this prayer monthly.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS
Throughout July and August, MA will be attending numerous events across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Pray for each person who will exhibit, but also those who attend the events; that God would be stirring their hearts to get involved and partner with us through going, giving or praying.
If you are at any of the events or conferences listed (to the right), please do come and say ‘Hi.’ We would love to chat to you.
There will be no monthly Zoom meetings during July & August. We will resume again in September.

Gaiya Family - The Gaiya family are grateful to God for having time to spend with family in Northern Ireland during the summer break. Praise God for His bountiful provision, His abiding peace and His daily presence.
Praise God for the help and strength the Lord has given to Musa to carry out many responsibilities during the last 12 months as the Chairman of ECWA Board of Trustees. Pray that the church will know much of the Lord’s blessing.
Pray for the Lord’s guiding hand to be evident. Pray for wisdom for Pamela in her role as Field Facilitator as well as in her responsibilities at ACTS. Pray too for Gracie to know more of God’s amazing grace.
Ekanem Family - The Ekanems praise God for the provision of a projector which will enhance Godwin’s outreach ministry. Pray for new openings into other villages.
Pray for the team of 5 ladies who will be with the Ekanems for 2 weeks in July/Aug. Pray for their safety and for fruitfulness in their service. Pray that they will have an impactful experience that will endure long after they travel home.
Pray for the Ekanems for wisdom, grace and strength for all the practicalities and travels involved in the hosting of their frst summer team.
Pray for the steering committee of the United Evangelical Church; Uyo Area as they work towards the establishment of a Bible College. There are hopes of starting this venture in September.
Ibia Family - Pray for the Ibia’s as they pack up and leave Enugu at the end of July and move to Jos. Pray for safety in their travels and as they begin to settle in. Pray also for Godfrey as he takes on a new role in the offce.
Pray also for the Ibia’s as they begin to look for a suitable school for the children to start in September. Pray for them both as they make this transition to a new school and make new friends.
Pray for the Fellowship of Christian Students Staff and Family Conference in August. Pray for provision for all the families and for a impactful time together as an FCS body!
Mark Nixon - Join Mark in praying for opportunities to preach the Gospel within Ankpa and the surrounding areas; especially on Sundays at the church services.
Pray for Mark as he plans and prepares to teach at various Bible Colleges; Peter Achimugu College of Theology & Christian Evangelical Fellowship of Nigera in Kogi State, and Remnant Christian Network in Adullam, Makurdi.
Mark asks that you would remember the farmers in Kogi State as there has not been suffcient rainfall, which is making life extremely diffcult for them.
Pray for Janet as she makes preparations to travel to Nigeria on 23rd July. Pray the visa process will be smooth and the visa will be granted without any issues. Pray for safety as she travels on the roads to Holley Memorial Hospital.
Morrison FamilyPray for the 5 people currently doing a ‘TEAM Trek’ in Chad which is a 4-week vision trip with The Evangelical Alliance Mission. Give thanks that all 5 are considering a call to long-term service in Chad.
IVORY COAST
Pray for the Morrison’s American colleagues who are currently unable to return to Chad due to the Visa issuing suspension between Chad and the USA. Pray for a speedy resolution to the problem.
Pray for Ana’s summer break; that it will be a time of renewed energy, opportunities for preparation for the year ahead and a renewal or establishing of contacts here in Ivory Coast.
Pray for David & Lucy as they prepare to return to Chad in the middle of August. Pray that they may know God’s leading and direction as they plan their ministry for the next 12 months.
Ana van Brakel - Ana asks for you to continue praying for the arrival of her visa; pray especially for the person who is tasked with following up the paperwork. .
Continue to pray for the security situation in Ivory Coast; especially for the churches as the state is preparing legislation to criminalise biblical preaching on same sex issues.
Reuben Beattie - Pray that Reuben would continue to learn and adapt to the culture, which would lead him to better get alongside people in the faith. Pray for continued evangelism and discipleship; for boldness and wisdom.
Rebekah PattersonRebekah travels to Kenya on 22nd July to work with children with special educational needs. Pray for her as she travels and that her time in Kenya will be fruitful and as she considers longer term service .
Give thanks for Ruth, Ellen and Sarah who have just returned from their time in Kenya. Pray that they will adjust to life back home again, and that their time away won’t just be a trip, but Transformation!
Throughout July & August, there will be 7 teams travelling to Kenya and Nigeria. Pray for safety for each of them as they travel, and that as they carry out their various ministries, that God would be glorifed.
Robbie Toop - Give thanks that Robbie and Margaret were able to have time off on annual leave in June/July. Pray this was a time of refreshment before the busy summer of exhibiting. (See front for details.)
GENERAL
Our staff team based in Belfast will be taking annual leave at various points throughout July and August. Pray that this will be a time of rest and refreshment for each of them after such a busy season.
Give thanks for MA’s June Celebration and Commissioning that took place at the end of June. Many who attended were there for the frst time. Pray that the stories they heard would be a prompt to start their own story.
Pray for the board of Mission Africa, that as they look to the future of the mission, God would be in the center of all their plans. Pray for wisdom in all the decisions that they need to make.
Catherine Pope will be leaving MA in September. We are now recruiting for a new Short Term Offcer. Pray for wisdom for Paul and the Board as they select someone new, and for Catherine as she prepares to hand over.
Over July and Aug, MA will be at various events and conferences; both in Northern Ireland and England. (See front for details.) Pray that God would be speaking into hearts of people who are willing to be called by Him overseas.
