ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS
Mission Africa’s Scottish Conference will look a little different this year. It will be taking place on Saturday 9th November and you are warmly invited to come along and ‘Meet & Greet’ Paul Wright, Mission Africa’s CEO in Hamilton Baptist Church, 23 Kemp Street, Hamilton, ML3 6QL, Scotland.

Our monthly Zoom meeting will be taking place on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7pm. You would be most welcome to join us.
We would love to invite you to Mission Africa’s Prayer Morning which will be taking place on Saturday 30th November in Newtownbreda Bapstist Church in Belfast; 43 Newtownbreda Road, BT8 7BQ

Gaiya Family - Pamela reports progress in rolling out her anniversary project. Continue to pray for wisdom particularly in the logistics of getting the needed books for the Adrian Adger Memorial Library at the William Wheatley Theological College.
Pray for the work and witness of Africa Christian Textbooks. Pray for the Accounts Staff and Branch Managers, as training was given recently on using a newly installed accounts software. Remember the ACTS Board as they meet at the end of the month.
Musa has important ECWA (Evangelical Church Winning All) Board of Trustee meetings scheduled for mid November. He is Chairman of this Church Board. Pray that he will know the Lord’s help and wisdom as important matters are discussed and decided upon.
Ekanem Family - Pray for Gail as she fnishes up with her students at William Wheatley for this Semester. Pray for the students to be well prepared for their exams. Pray for the Kids’ Club as they focus on the topic: Putting on the Full Armour of God for this month.
Pray for Godwin as he organises and participates in the UEC Missionary Retreat in Port Harcourt from 6th-11th Nov. Pray for all involved; for safe travel and that they would be spiritually uplifted and encouraged to press on with the sacrifcial work of mission.
Continue tray for Angel; aged 11. For God’s grace and wisdom in her education.
Pray that she would continue to grow in her relationship with God.
Ibia Family - Pray for contact that has been made with volunteers who may be able to help out Samantha & Godfrey in reaching more churches to raise awareness of Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS). Pray that this will be fruitful.
Pray for the school that the Ibia’s are currently in. Pray that they can make an impact on these children, that the materials and words would be used by the Holy spirit to really open their eyes to God and who He is and they will claim Him for their own!
Thank God for the safe travels of Godfrey who returned home on the 4th November after being away for 3 weeks. Praise God for keeping us safe at home during his time away.
Mark Nixon - Mark is currently on Home Assignment from Nigeria. Pray for him while he visits collegues and friends in India over the next few weeks. Pray for safely as he travels but also that this trip will be refreshing for him.
Mark is hoping to return to Nigeria in early 2025. Pray for Mark as he shortly begins the process of applying for his visa and work permit. Pray that the application process will go smoothly and that God will be in the centre of all his plans for returning.
In Nigeria, students from the college are continuing at the weekends with the village outreaches. Pray for the safety of the students as they travel to each village and for everyone who hears the gospel, that their hearts will be open to accepting.
Morrison Family - Pray for David’s frst end of the fnancial year in the offce. Pray that all the plans and preparations needed to complete and fnalise this would go smoothly and in a timely fashion.
IVORY COAST
Ana van Brakel - Give thanks with Ana that her frst subject (Pastoral Letters) with the students and graduates for the Pastors Training went well.
KENYA
Mission Africa’s fnal session of Come See Go Tell is happening on 19th November. Give thanks for every member who has gone through the programme. Pray that this discipleship journey wasn’t just about a trip to Kenya, but transformation!
BURKINA FASO
Jeremy Nash - Jeremy has now been able to get a job in England. We give thanks for God’s hand and timing in this. Pray for Jeremy as he adjusts to this new role and routine.
Pray for TEAMs Annual Conference which is taking place this month. Pray for good fellowship and fruitful discussions throughout the event.
Pray for the preparations necessary for the Christmas celebrations and for wisdom in handling the Acacia graduates well and that their hearts would be focused on the true joy and meaning of Christmas.
Give thanks that the beginning of November is a little less stressfull for Ana. She asks for continued prayer for the next batch of courses, as to what to prepare but also to fnd good materials that the students can access as the library is rather sparse.
Ana asks for prayer for the students and staff at the college as a student in her last year sadly passed away at the end of October from an infection. Also, for Ana, she gives thanks that malaria hasn’t affected her yet.
Kathryn Lindsay - Kathryn is now at home in Northern Ireland on Home Assignment. Pray for her as she adjusts to life back at home and that this period at home will be refreshing and flled with rest; both physically and spiritually.
Give thanks for many of our partnering ministries in Kenya. Karai Children’s Home and the Rescue Centre have both undergone renovations over the last few months . Pray that both of these renovations will be used to glorify God.
Continue to pray for the Gamiliel Association in Burkina Faso. Pray for the selection of children and for Gods provision that funding would be provided to subsidise their school fees.
Pray as the Clubs in Burkina Faso are getting under way and that God would reveal his love to His children and that many would come to faith. Also pray for peace and that terrorist attacks are thwarted.
Robbie Toop - Give thanks that Robbie has been able to have a number of speaking engagements throughout November. A mistake in a calendar opened up a new church for Robbie to connect with.
Pray for continued and developing contact with young people as Robbie seeks to encourage them to be involved in mission.
Pray for Robbie as he continues to plan and prepare for the year ahead. Give thanks for the Scottish prayer groups and for the contact that Robbie continues to have with them.
Pray for wisdom as we as an offce team begin to think, plan and pray for the year ahead in how we support our partners, promote our work and get people excited to partner with us in serving Him.
Pray for our Board as they meet together on 12th November. Pray that as they look to the future of Mission Africa, that God would be in the center of all their plans and for wisdom in all the decisions that they need to make.
The fnancial audit is still ongoing, continue to remember Ashleigh Kelly as she adjusts to her new role in Mission Africa but also as she makes all the necessary preparations for the audit to be fnalised.
