The Mission Africa Offce will be closed from 24th December to 1st January 2026.

KENYA

Pray for Elaine from the MA offce and Lauren from MA Board who will travel to Kenya this week. Pray for safety as they travel. Pray especially for Elaine as she meets with our partners and projects for the frst time.

Give thanks for the 6 weeks that Rachel and Sarah spent in Kenya for their medical elective. Pray that as they’ve just returned that they would adjust well into life back home and for those still in Kenya who’s lives they have impacted.

NIGERIA

Pray for Paul Wright as he travels to Nigeria this week to attend the United Evangelical Church Conference and visit various projects. Pray for his safety as he travels and that he would be encouraged by his time there.

Ibia Family - Give thanks to God with the Ibia family for the His continued faithfulness throughout the year. After their move to Jos; they are fnally setting in well. Pray for rest and family time over the Christmas break.

Pray for the students who are part of Fellowship of Christian Students as they go on their Christmas break. Pray that God would protect them, give them rest and bring them back safely in the new year.

Pray for the December conference in Kuje Zone in Abuja that Godfrey is the main speaker at. Pray that God would speak in the lives of the students who will attend and that many will make decisions to live for Christ.

Mark Nixon - Mark will be spending time in Abuja; pray that the programme of meetings that have been arranged for him in Abuja would be glorifying to God.

The United Evangelical Church Conference takes place this week. Marks asks you to pray as they elect their new National Chariman. Pray for wisdom in this election and that whoever is elected would be grounded in their faith.

Mark will be returning to the UK in January. Pray for him as he prepares to fnish his time in Nigeria, that he would fnish well and travel arrangements would go to plan. Pray for wisdom in trusting God for whatever comes next for him.

Janet Martin - Continue to pray for a resolution to Janet’s visa situation before she leaves Nigeria in January. Give thanks for a recent grant to help at Holley Memorial Hospital.

Give thanks for all the children who have been coming to Janet’s hosue for a Bible Club. Pray that others will continue this vital work when she leaves.

Child SponsorshipChristmas is always an exciting time for the children on Child Sponsorship. Their Christmas party takes place on 13th (tomorrow).Pray that each child would know and experience the true meaning of Christmas.

Child SponsorshipGive thanks for the many supporters who have generously donated to the Christmas Appeal. This allows each child to receive a new mattress for their home. Pray that each family will be blessed through this gift.

Ekanem Family - Pray for the Christmas outreaches: Southern Springs Academy(16th), Ikot Ekpang Village (18th); Kids’ Club (20th); and Ekpene Obom (23rd). Pray that the children would experience God’s love for them.

Pray for Godwin and his colleagues in the offce as they welcome in the new National Chairman. Pray they get to know one another and would work together well over the next few years for the sake of the Gospel.

Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom as the Ekanems look forward to 2026. Pray that God would be in the centre of all their plans for the year ahead.

Gaiya Family - Give thanks for helpful and fruitful Board meetings held recently at ACTS & Hillcrest. Pray for guidance and an evidence of God’s goodness and grace as decisions made are implemented.

IVORY COAST

As Gracie adjusts to being online for her schooling because of the current security issues; pray for the Lord’s peace and presence to reign in the hearts and minds of the whole Gaiya family. Pray restrictions will be lifted in the New Year.

Praise God for 2025. Certainly there have been ups and downs but the Lord has remained faithful. Pray as we go into 2026 that the Lord will go before us and keep us strong in Him, all for the glory of His Name sake.

Ana Van Brakel - Give thanks that Ana’s visa seems to have arrived; at least a photo of a card with her name and details have been sent to her via WhatsApp. This is progress! She prays that the collection in Abijan will go smoothly.

BURKINA FASO

As Ana will have to go to Abijan, she is going to explore the Christian bookshops to see whether an arrangement can be made regarding books for the students courses. Pray this plan would come to fruition.

Ana has been asked to participate at a children’s day; pray that the that the Word of God will be received in many hearts. She gives thanks for this opportunity of service and for continued good health in the main.

Pray for children as they receive their new school fees to be able to continue with their education. May they be encouraged in their schooling and continue to have hearts willing to learn.

Pray for children studying the Explorers Bible course that God draw many to faith in him as He has been doing.

Morrison Family - Pray for a good time of fellowship during TEAM Annual Conference and for stamina for David and Lucy especially as they look after the girls as well as host and organise the conference.

GENERAL

Pray for the Board of Mission Africa, that as they look to the future of the mission, God would be in the centre of all their plans. Pray for wisdom in all the decisions that they need to make.

Pray for a solution to problems which have been caused by the American visa ban and one of the 3 leaders taking the position of Regional Director. This leaves David in an unsustainable situation.

For Fiona to be self motivated in her work at Acacia now that structured centre time has come to an end. Pray that the Christmas break will be a time of rest and refreshment for her.

We have now launched Come See Go Tell 2026 and the teams are now live on our website. Pray for Elaine as she organises and makes plans for the teams and pray for all those who God will call to serve Him next summer.

Pray for the offce staff as they have some time off over the Christmas break. Pray that this time would be a time of rest and refreshment. Pray that God would be in the centre of all their plans for the year ahead.

‘Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.’
