The next Dispatch Magazine will be available at the beginning of January. Read through it and give thanks for all that God is doing through the work of MA.

For the months of December and January , why not spend 30 seconds each day praying through this prayer monthly for our partners and projects.

ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS

Our frst session of Come See Go Tell 2025 will begin in January. Pray for Paul & Catherine as they prepare material, but also for those who have signed up this year. Pray that as they begin this discipleship journey, that it won’t just be about a summer trip, but that thier lives will be transformed from seeing God at work in Africa enabling them to go and tell others of God’s faithfulness.

There will be no Zoom prayer meeting in December, however we will meet again on Thursday 16th January at 7PM.

Our monthly Zoom meeting will be taking place on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7pm. You would be most welcome to join us.

We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued prayer and faithful support throughout 2024.

May you have a very happy Christmas and a blessed New Year. We look forward to partnering with you throughout 2025.

The Mission Africa offces will be closed between Monday 23rd December and Wednesday 1st January. We will reopen on Thursday 2nd January.

Gaiya Family - Give thanks for the ACTS Board of Director’s meeting which happened at the end of November. It was a proftable time with consideration and focus given to Management’s Strategic Planning.

Continue to pray for wisdom, guidance and strength as ACTS grows and develops in challenging times. The next container of books and Bibles is expected to be dispatched to Nigeria, God willing, in mid December.

The Gaiya family appreciate the prayers and support shown to them through this year. They have known God’s protection and care. Pray that over the Christmas period they will each know the Lord’s touch of spiritual refreshment and renewal.

Ekanem Family - Pray for the UEC Annual Conference taking place in Aba from 10th to 13th December. Pray for all the delegates and those who are speaking. Pray for the pastors who will be ordained on the fnal day of the Conference.

Pray for the Ekanems as they are involved in Christmas projects: Kids Club on the 7th, visit to Southern Springs Academy on the 9th and outreach to Godwin’s home village on the 18th. Pray for God’s wisdom and grace in all the organisation required.

Give thanks for Lowe Memorial Church and MA who fnancially assisted in making these events possible.

Pray the Ekanems would have a special time of fellowship with family members over Christmas as well as a period of rest.

Ibia Family - Students will begin their frst term of exams at the beginning of December. Pray for each one of them as they study and sit these. They will then fnish for Christmas break, pray God’s protection on all who will travel for the Christmas period.

God has connected us with a Reverend from a local church with quite a few students in attendance; many of whom have heard of Fellowship of Christian Students. Pray for a good relationship and an open door to create opportunities here in this town.

Pray for our Bible clubs in which we are planning a quiz in early December. Pray for the logistics and for the fnances in order to do all that is planned. We really want to encourage these children in their walk with God over this Christmas period.

Mark Nixon - Pray for the end of the college termthat students would fnish well and complete their examinations. Give thanks for two members of staff who are going to be ordained as Revd Ministers. Pray as their ordination takes place this month.

Mark is hoping to return to Nigeria in early 2025. Pray for Mark as he shortly begins the process of applying for his visa and work permit. Pray that the application process will go smoothly and that God will be in the centre of all his plans for returning.

Continue to pray for the outreach in Ankpa town along with youth work in Ankpa. Fellowship of Christian Students will be meeting in UEC Central - pray that they will be blessed and encouraged by being in fellowship together.

Morrison Family - Pray for Acacia Christmas celebrations. Pray that the ladies will be able to understand the good news and to take the pressure they feel for material celebrations that they can’t afford.

IVORY COAST

Ana van Brakel - Ana gives thanks to God for His grace in the teaching and for the appreciation and willingness that the students have to learn.

Praise God that David & Lucy are expecting their third baby in 2025 - pray for a healthy baby and Mum over the coming months.

Pray for Fiona, one of the Acacia ladies as she juggles the many responsibilities at the centre as well as studying her nursing in the afternoons.

She asks for continued help during for preparing for the next semester, that there will be continued engagement when contested issues arise, that there will be a good discussion and appreciation for the different issues.

Pray for the water supply in the compound that Ana lives on. The water tower has broken down. She asks for prayer that it will be able to be fxed over the coming weeks.

Kathryn Lindsay - Kathryn is now at home in Northern Ireland on Home Assignment. Pray for her as she adjusts to life back at home and that the Christmas period will be a time flled with family and friendship but also rest; both physically and spiritually.

Give thanks for the Bible Dedication and Outreach that took place on 4th December. These Bibles were produced in partnership with Biblica for the Kenya Police Service. Pray that those who are given a Bible will be challenged and changed.

Paul Wright, Catherine Pope and Lauren Johnston have recently returned from a short visit to Kenya. Give thanks for the partnerships and churches they were able to meet with. Pray that any plans put in place for 2025, will be for His glory.

Jeremy Nash - Give thanks that the Nash’s were able to share at the November Prayer Day in Northern Ireland. He asks that as they are now fnished with the mission, that prayful and fnancial support will still be raised for the on-going ministry in Burkina Faso.

Continue to pray for the Gamiliel Association in Burkina Faso. Pray for the selection of children and for Gods provision that funding would be provided to subsidise their school fees.

Pray as the Clubs in Burkina Faso are getting under way and that God would reveal his love to His children and that many would come to faith. Also pray for peace and that terrorist attacks are thwarted.

KENYA
BURKINA FASO

Robbie Toop - Give thanks for encouraging Sunday meetings in Boddam & Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire.

Give thanks for several mission reps who were able to get together as Global Connections Scotland on 4th December. They are making plans for more joint meetings in the new year.

GENERAL

Give thanks for Paul, Lauren, Catherine, Ashleigh and Katie. Pray as they work together to think and plan for 2025 in how they continue to support our partners, promote our work and encourage people excited to partner with us in serving Him.

Pray for the board of Mission Africa, that as they look to the future of the mission, God would be in the center of all their plans. Pray for wisdom in all the decisions that they need to make.

Continue to remember both Robbie and Margaret as they relate to young people who are interested in getting involved in mission. Pray also as they plan for the next season in the new year.

We have identifed two specifc needs and opportunites in Nigeria for long-term service. Pray that God would be stirring the hearts of people who are willing to start their story in serving Him in Africa.

‘Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.’ Ephesians 6:18
