Noah East American, b. 1972

Noah East, from Atlanta, Georgia, draws inspiration from the city’s vibrant growth and public art scene. Recently, he has been inspired by the Beltline project, which showcases local art through murals and sculptures. Influenced

by Bauhaus, German Expressionism, and Art Deco, East began painting in his teens, focusing on simplicity, minimal lines, and colors. He blends Eastern and Western art traditions, emphasizing both negative and positive space. In his spare time, East enjoys reading and watching films, which fuel his imaginative and surreal abstract paintings. His work seeks to create visual poems from his imagination.
