American, b. 1964

Born in Hong Kong, Lun Tse, one of ten siblings, moved with his family to California in 1967. There, he began exploring his artistic talents, illustrating alongside his twin brother. After high school, Tse earned a scholarship and relocated to Tampa, Florida, where he refined his craft, won awards, and became an Art Director.
Tse is a master of sponge painting, publishing several instructional books on the technique. His vibrant landscapes and floral motifs have been exhibited internationally. Now based in Atlanta, GA, Tse continues to create art that reflects his rich cultural heritage, finding fulfillment in sharing his work with collectors.
“Floral Sonata” collection is a graceful fusion of nature and abstraction. Lush green leaves, delicate flowers, and botanical textures are reimagined through fluid lines, soft layering, and a vibrant, contemporary palette. Each piece feels like a movement in a visual symphony—where color, shape, and form work in harmony to evoke a sense of calm, balance, and organic rhythm. With his signature blend of control and spontaneity, Lun Tse captures the quiet energy of nature, inviting viewers into a serene, abstract garden that’s both modern and timeless.

“With Floral Sonata, I wanted to create a rhythm you could see. Nature doesn’t stand still—it flows, shifts, and breathes. Through layered color and abstract form, I tried to capture that quiet motion and the harmony that lives in all growing things.”

“I’ve always been inspired
by the natural world, interpret it freely. Floral Sonata is about the just what you see, but what you sense in the

world, but this series gave me space to the feeling of walking through a garden—not the air, in the movement, in the stillness.”
