“OUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT.” MID-YEAR REFLECTIONS WITH BOARD CHAIR JARID LUNDEEN

Jarid Lundeen has always been an optimistic person. But 26 years of entrepreneurship has taught him that you can’t run a business on positivity alone; realism is crucial to success. For that reason, it’s all the more notable that the 2026 Minot Area Chamber EDC Board Chair says he’s “bullish on Minot’s future.”

We sat down with Jarid at the midpoint of his term to reflect on the year so far, talk about what's surprised him, and hear what he wants the community to understand about where Minot stands today.

The Communicator: You're halfway through your year as Board Chair. How would you summarize the first six months?

Jarid Lundeen: First, I just want to say something about Ryan Ackerman, who served as chair in 2025. I had the chance to watch him lead our board for a year knowing I was coming up next, and I learned a lot. The way he navigated meetings, kept the vision clear, stayed steady — he set a really high bar, and I'm grateful for his example.

As for my first six months — talk about insightful! I've always loved this city, but this role has given me a line of sight on the work happening here that I just didn't have before. The committees, the relationships, the projects in motion. I get this real inside look at just how many people are quietly grinding away for this place. They deserve to be celebrated for their hard work, because it’s paying off – and now Minot is in a unique moment.

TC: Tell us more about that. What does that unique moment look like from where you're sitting?

JL: You know, I was born and raised here, been in business here for 26 years. And there's a groundswell of energy happening right now that I just haven't felt before. Young people who might have left a generation ago are choosing to stay and invest. The civic leadership in this community — the mayor, the city council, the people working behind the scenes every day — these are spectacular people.

And then you look at what's on the horizon. North American Iron looks like it will be a generational project. A firstof-its-kind pig iron facility, right here in Minot, creating hundreds of new jobs. That's not a small thing. And it's not the only thing. The Sentinel ICBM upgrades coming to Minot Air Force Base will be huge for this region. And on top of that, we’re helping people move their commodities out of North Dakota to places all over the world at the Minot Intermodal Facility. We’re advocating for our business community and our military community at the State Capitol and in Washington, D.C. There are so many people working hard, keeping their foot on the gas, and it’s paying off right now. I think we’ll look back at 2026 and say, “Wow. That was a pivotal year for Minot.”

TC: In March at the Minot Area Chamber EDC Annual Meeting, you described yourself as “bullish on Minot’s future.” How has your time as Chair influenced that feeling?

JL: You know, I've always been an optimist — that's just my personality. But I’m also a realist. When you work in a retail business, the real world barrels down on you, and you have to deal with that. You can have a positive outlook, but you also have to keep your checkbook balanced. So I think I look at these things with clear eyes.

Being the Board Chair for the Minot Area Chamber EDC allows me to “pop the hood” on Minot, so to speak. It’s a special opportunity. Not everybody gets to see the inner workings, but I get to do that, and what I see is a high-performing engine, powered by passionate civic leaders, amazing military leadership at Minot Air Force Base, and energized people who love this city and want to see it grow and succeed. High-caliber people doing high-caliber work. I would say I’m even more bullish today than I was in March!

TC: You've been an Honorary Commander for more than 20 years. Has your role as Board Chair deepened your connection to the military mission in Minot?

JL: Absolutely. Some of the opportunities I’ve had this year will stick with me for a long time. I got to spend a day with the 91st Missile Wing. I spent a lot of time with Col. Jimmy Schlabach and his team and got to

really understand a day in the life of a wing commander. What I saw was some of the finest humans I’ve ever been around.

I recently had the chance to go with the North Dakota National Guard on their Boss Lift. I got to be in a Black Hawk helicopter, which was incredible. But even more spectacular than that was getting to know some of the National Guard members – local people who serve our nation and our state so well. .

And of course, the Prairie Warrior Auction in April was a lot of fun this year. That’s such a high-energy event. I’m not someone who always enjoys public speaking, but it was fun getting out of my comfort zone a bit with such a supportive group of people. I’m pretty proud of the fact that we set a new fundraising record with more than $135,000 going to support Airmen at Minot Air Force Base.

TC: Now that you’ve seen this organization from the inside, what do you want our member investors to know about the work they’re supporting?

JL: My dad always told me that when you’re in business in a community, you have to reinvest. Not just financially – you‘ve got to invest your time, your presence, your attention. The Chamber EDC is where that happens at scale. Every one of the MACEDC’s five pillars – economic development, community development, workforce development, member investor services, and military support – touches something

real. The work of attracting talent, making sure site selectors for major projects look seriously at Minot, making sure our military families feel welcome. These things really matter.

I also believe the space that the Chamber EDC creates for networking and connectionbuilding is crucial. We live in a world where you can get everything from hamburgers to undergarments delivered to your doorstep.

Knowing that, there is nothing better than getting out of your shell, out of your social network, and stretching out and meeting new people. That engagement outside of your four walls might lead to something else, which might lead to something else.

We’re not Destin, Florida. We may not necessarily win because of our coastlines or our weather. We win because people around here have grit. We work hard and we keep grinding. The Chamber EDC is a big part of how we win as a community.

TC: As we head into the second half of the year, what are you most energized about?

JL: For me, it’s the people. I keep coming back to that. I've started businesses, I've served on boards, I've been involved in this community my whole life — and the people I've gotten to work alongside are second to none. Brekka and her team, the energy they bring every single day, the way they juggle a hundred priorities and never lose sight of the mission and the vision — that's something to be grateful for.

Minot is an amazing community because of the people who have called it home. In every generation of our city’s history, we’ve answered the call. Today is no different. Our job as business owners is to lean into what makes Minot unique. I believe the rest of the world is starting to catch on to the huge potential of this place. Our future is bright! I can’t wait to look back on this time 20 years from now to see how far we’ve come.

MILITARY AP On June 12, the Minot Area Chamber EDC joined forces with the Minot Park District for Military Appreciation in the Parks — a chance to show our gratitude to the men and women who serve our country.

Under beautiful skies at Oak Park, members of our Military Affairs Committee and additional volunteers proudly served lunch to military members and their families, with a steady stream of over 1,600 people stopping by throughout the afternoon. Yard games and informational booths made for a lively and

NORTH DAKOTA RANKED #2 IN THE NATION FOR MILITARY RETIREES A new national analysis puts North Dakota near the top of the nation when it comes to supporting the men and women who've served our country.

WalletHub's 2026 Best & Worst States for Military Retirees study ranked North Dakota second in the nation, trailing only South Carolina. The personal finance company evaluated all 50 states and the District of Columbia across 28 metrics, including economic environment, quality of life, and healthcare.

North Dakota earned high marks for access to healthcare, its low share of homeless veterans, and robust support for veteran employment, including allowing employers to give preference to veterans when hiring.

North Dakota's strong showing is backed by years of strategic efforts by state and local organizations. The North Dakota Military Commission is a governorappointed body focused on making the state the most military-friendly in the nation. Under Gov. Kelly Armstrong's leadership, the commission develops policies and initiatives that support military installations and enhance quality of life for service members and their families.

and Task Force 21 Chair and MACEDC Board Member Pete Hankla both serve on the North Dakota Military Commission – and MACEDC works each day to ensure Minot is a place where military families are supported both during and after their service, from appreciation events and community connections to workforce development initiatives and quality-of-life advocacy.

LEVITT AMP MINOT MUSIC SERIES BRINGS CITY TOGETHER By 3 o’clock on Thursday, June 18, it was clear the weather might not cooperate.

Organizers shifted the schedule of events up by a half-hour to stay ahead of the risk of rain.

“We're keeping an eye on the forecast and recommend bringing a light jacket, umbrella, or poncho just in case,” read a Facebook post from Citizens Alley, the outdoor gathering space in downtown Minot playing host to a series of ten free concerts this summer.

“Complimentary disposable ponchos will also be available.”

That risk hardly deterred Minoters eager for an evening of live music.

More than 500 people filled Citizens Alley to hear original songs performed by Barley Jacks, a Minnesota-based bluegrass trio, as well as the International Music Camp Brass Quintet. “It’s such a wide range of people,” said Jessica Ackerman, the executive director of Local Motives,

the non-profit that operates Citizens Alley. “You see all generations in the same space. People who love music, sure – but also people who may not necessarily know what they’ll get.”

The concert was part of the Levitt AMP Music Series – a matching grant program whose goal is to bring the joy of free, live music to small- and mid-sized towns across the country. Minot was one of about 30 communities selected in 2026 to

receive $40,000 in grant funding per year for three years to help establish Citizens Alley as a destination for live music and community engagement.

Just weeks into the inaugural summer of the Levitt AMP Minot Music Series, Ackerman says that vision has come to life. “You see connections being made everywhere you look. It’s incredible.”

One such connection played out that Thursday on the elevated walkway overlooking the stage. “I came out on the fire escape and saw two young men standing up there together,” Ackerman recalled. “And I said, ‘How’s the view from up here?’ And they told me they had just arrived to serve at Minot Air Force Base two days before this and stumbled upon the alley. One of them is a first-term Airman who told me he had no idea how he would get to know people outside of work. Well, this could make a big difference in how the next few years of his life goes.”

Later, as expected, the skies opened up.

“The rain let loose around 8:20,” said Teresa Loftesnes, who coordinates about 20 volunteers weekly to greet guests, haul tables and chairs, and ensure people are safe and happy. “We were not torn down yet – but it was amazing that these volunteers didn’t run to their cars. They said, ‘Let’s do this,’ and

they were right there helping us get everything moved inside. It felt so good to see everyone working together as a community, not thinking about themselves.”

Despite the rain showers, another concert night was in the books – one of ten scheduled for this summer, and an example of the powerful impact of how collaboration and shared purpose add up to community development. “Dozens of people are fueling this, over and over and over, in ways that match their interests and gifts – all to make Minot an even better place to live.”

– The story of the Levitt AMP Minot Music Series dates back almost a decade – to a rooftop view. In 2017, Jessica Ackerman and her husband, Ryan, had purchased a downtown building called the Citizens Garage. “We were particularly interested in being part of the renaissance of downtown Minot,” she said. “We felt connected to that neighborhood. So we bought a building with good bones.”

Around that time, she climbed onto the roof of the building to take in the view. “You could see from above that this was arguably the most blighted block downtown at the time. But you could also see people

shopping. Students playing outdoor games on the lawn at Central Campus. It was easy to envision the idea of what that block could become.”

accessible, original music – and community centered. It’s everything I’ve always wanted for Minot.”

Jessica was drawn to the concept of placemaking: the transformation of underutilized areas into vibrant, accessible community spaces. “I couldn’t get enough of the idea of bringing people together for the love of community and getting to know each other.”

The Ackermans continued their redevelopment efforts. They purchased two buildings next door to Citizens Garage – now connected and functioning as a single building known as 1st and Central, which houses small businesses like Prairie Sky Breads.

Then they began the work of restoring the alley into a year-round quasi-public gathering space. “Ryan is a very capable builder,” Jessica said of her husband.

“He’s a unique engineer in his ability to see things come off the paper and understand how it will feel on a human scale.”

She also became aware of the work of the Levitt Family Foundation. The private family foundation was established in 1966 by Mortimer and Mimi Levitt to support the arts, culture, and education. Since then, it has expanded into a national network of permanent music venues and the grant-funded Levitt AMP series, all with the goal of taking struggling or overlooked public spaces and using free, all-ages, original music programming to turn them into gathering places.

That vision resonated with Jazmine Schultz, a longtime music organizer and entrepreneur who opened Prairie Sky Breads in 2020, a few steps away from the unused space that would become Citizens Alley.

“When I heard the words the Levitt Foundation was using, I thought, ‘This is exactly what I’ve been pursuing here for 20 years,’” Schultz said. “All-ages,

The effort was made possible in part by the North Dakota Department of Commerce’s Destination Development Grant program in 2024. “Those dollars supported important things like concrete and a mobile stage,” Jessica said. “That created the foundation for everything else to happen.”

That same year, Jessica formalized Local Motives as a non-profit to operate Citizens Alley. To help navigate the business side of this mission, she took part in the Minot Area Chamber EDC’s Start Up Minot Academy, powered by CO.STARTERS. “I’m glad I did that,” she said. “My vision was a little different than

others in the cohort, most of whom had a for-profit vision. But I’m using the tools I gained there now as everything is taking off.”

Citizens Alley opened in July of 2025. Weeks later, Ackerman and Schultz were already preparing to submit an application to receive Levitt AMP grant funding. The community rallied behind the effort during the public voting phase of the process, propelling Minot into the top tier of applicants nationwide. “I kept saying that we need more in Minot,” Ackerman said. “More outdoor activities, more family-friendly things, more music. That became the theme of our voting campaign: More in Minot.”

In November, the good news came: Minot would receive $40,000 each year for three years to help establish the Levitt AMP Minot Music Series.

– Behind every Thursday night are dozens of passionate people finding their own way into the work.

For Jazmine Schultz, who serves as the music series’ production manager, Levitt AMP Minot represents a full-circle moment; she’s spent two decades cultivating a local music scene in Minot alongside like-minded friends. “That whole gang that helped me do that over the years is also at the table for Levitt AMP,” Schultz said. “It’s really heartwarming to be working with these people to help make this happen.”

It also establishes new opportunities for local musicians. Each performing artist is fully paid – and becomes part of a network of musicians to potentially perform at Levitt-supported venues across the country. “We're trying to create a music ecosystem in the middle of North America,” Schultz said. “We're trying to create a place where artists can actually be artists.”

Schultz sees the ripple effects going beyond music.

“We know that engaged people are less likely to have mental health struggles,” she said. “This allows more people to have a fun night off without having to take time off from work or leave town. You can still have

these great moments with your family and rally around a community experience.”

The music series has also become a workforce pipeline. Marissa Beck, a Minot State University senior, started this spring as a marketing intern.

Running the merchandise table, coordinating donations, and building marketing materials has given her hands-on experience in event management — the field she hopes to break into after graduation. “I wasn't really sure if there would be a lot of opportunities in the Minot area for something like that,” Beck said. “This was kind of a goldmine for me to direct my focus towards.”

None of it happens without volunteers — and that's where Teresa Loftesnes comes in. She coordinates about 20 volunteers a week through AmeriCorps, a federal program that helps non-profits like Local MINOT AREA CHAMBER EDC COMMUNICATOR | JUNE 2026

Motives build capacity they couldn't otherwise afford. The volunteers span generations, from teenagers earning their first hours of community service to retirees looking for a new way to give back. “Volunteerism makes the community whole,” Loftesnes said. "I find purpose in reaching out, bringing a volunteer in, and helping them leave their shift saying, ‘That was really great. I enjoyed this.’”

For Jessica Ackerman, the view of Citizens Alley and the city block it occupies has changed a great deal since she saw it from the rooftop nine years ago. What was once a quiet corner in need of rejuvenation is now a bustling community space. But she sees the same thing today that she saw back then: potential.

The Levitt Family Foundation is a spenddown organization, deliberately giving away its full endowment by 2041 rather than existing in perpetuity, and Minot's three-year grant runs through 2028. What happens after that depends on the support of sponsors, donors, and community buyin.

Ackerman is optimistic. “Every Thursday, this space fills with people who otherwise have no reason to be in the same place.

And as a result, a civic and economic ecosystem is developing. The barista meets the banker. The new family meets the old guard. The downtown storefront gets foot traffic it didn’t pay for. You can’t purchase an ecosystem like this – you can only grow it. I think we’re doing that here.”

ADD YOUR VOICE TO THE MINOT AIR FORCE BASE

COMPATIBLE USE STUDY

When a person thinks of Minot Air Force Base, they might picture the installation thirteen miles north of the Magic City. But the base's reach extends far beyond that footprint: the 91st Missile Wing operates 150 Minuteman III ICBM silos spread across 8,500 square miles of north-central North Dakota — spanning eight counties and dozens of communities.

As the Air Force moves into a major modernization of that complex, the physical and logistical demands on the surrounding region are growing. Minot Air Force Base, the City of Minot, and regional partners including the Minot Area Chamber EDC are now taking a coordinated look at how that growth intersects with the communities around it — and how to plan for it wisely.

Public input is a key part of the process. Those who missed the open houses can still participate at minotcus.com, where the project team has posted a community questionnaire, a map-based comment tool, and a contact form. Feedback is welcome and will be accepted through December.

That process is the Minot Air Force Base Compatible Use Study, and it’s underway now. A series of public open houses were held in June in Minot, Mohall, and New Town to introduce the study to community members. The consulting firm conducting the study, HR Green, also presented to MACEDC’s Military Affairs Committee earlier this month.

The purpose of the Compatible Use Study is to encourage development that is compatible with military training and operations, reduce potential impacts of military activities on surrounding areas, and strengthen coordination among local

What will the study look at?

The CUS will assess 26 compatibility factors across six categories: Community Connections: Communication, housing, public services, cultural resources, and legislation Growth and Land Patterns: Land use, infrastructure extensions, safety zones, vertical obstructions, and public trespassing Mobility and Operations: Roadway capacity, airspace competition, noise, dust/smoke, and vibration Natural Systems: Air quality, biological resources, water quality, and scarce natural resources Technology and Utilities: Frequency spectrum capacity, frequency spectrum impedance/interference, energy development, and light and glare Readiness and Resilience: Cybersecurity, antiterrorism/force protection, and resiliency Not all 26 will necessarily be relevant to the Minot area.

Strategies will be developed only for factors identified as genuine concerns.

What kind of recommendations will come out of it?

What is the Minot Air Force Base Compatible Use Study (CUS)?

The CUS is a federally funded planning process administered through the Department of War's Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation. It brings together communities, local governments, Tribal Nations, and a military installation to assess how land use, development patterns, and military operations interact, and to make recommendations for keeping them compatible over time.

Why is the CUS being conducted now?

The timing of the CUS coincides with the Sentinel ICBM modernization program – a major undertaking that will affect rural roads, power systems, fiber infrastructure, and communities across the region. It has also been more than a decade since the 2015 Joint Land Use Study was completed, making it a good time to take a fresh look at how Minot Air Force Base interacts with nearby communities.

The CUS will produce an Implementation Plan with recommended actions organized into short-term (1–3 years), mid-term (4–10 years), and long-term (11–20 years) timeframes. These recommendations may include non-regulatory approaches, like improving communication channels and coordination between the base and local governments, as well as policy suggestions, such as zoning guidance, subdivision standards, or infrastructure planning.

How is “compatibility” defined?

MINOT AREA EMPLOYERS GET FIRSTHAND LOOK AT NORTH DAKOTA NATIONAL GUARD

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) volunteers, in partnership with the North Dakota Army and Air National Guard, hosted 22 civilian employers on an ESGR Boss Lift on June 9 at Minot Air Force Base. Eleven employers from the Grand Forks area traveled to Minot, where they joined 11 employers from the Minot region for a firsthand look at one of the nation's most critical defense missions.

Boss Lifts give employers a firsthand understanding of the military duties performed by their National Guard and Reserve employees and highlight the essential role employers play in sustaining military readiness. The mission of the National Guard and Reserve cannot be accomplished without strong employer support and partnership.

The event also gave employers a rare opportunity to better understand the scale and complexity of the missile field mission, including the around-the-clock alert operations maintained by missile combat crews in underground launch control centers across thousands of square miles of North Dakota. Those employers left with a deeper appreciation for the training, responsibility and commitment required of their National Guard and Reserve employees, who balance civilian careers with military service in support of national defense.

"HAPPY HOOLIGANS" SET TO JOIN B-52 MISSION IN MINOT The iconic B-52 Stratofortress has called Minot home since 1961. Soon, another storied North Dakota military organization will help fly and maintain it.

During a June 1 open house hosted by the Minot Area Chamber EDC at Beowulf Golf Club, it was announced that members of the North Dakota Air National Guard’s 119th Wing, known as the "Happy Hooligans," will be flying and maintaining B-52s in a new detachment, working in a classic association with the 5th Bomb Wing of Minot Air Force Base. Classic associations pair active‑duty units with Guard or Reserve units to expand capability, strengthen readiness, and enhance overall mission success.

Brig. Gen. Tad Schauer, Assistant Adjutant General - Air for the North Dakota National Guard, called the new mission a unique opportunity for both organizations. “These opportunities don’t come along very often,” he said. “And it’s really special that two of them come together here in Minot.”

Schauer also pointed to Minot's strong military-community partnership as a key reason the mission is positioned for success. “We’ve got the best bomber squadron in the active duty, and we’ve got the best community support in the whole nation,” Schauer said. “I know that we are set up for success with the team that is in place.”

Col. Thomas Taylor, Deputy Commander of the 5th Bomb Wing, said the partnership creates an opportunity to retain highly trained Airmen who may be leaving active-duty service but want to continue contributing to the mission.

“This provides them a new opportunity to continue to serve the mission that they love, to keep doing what they want to do, but stay local in the Minot area,” Taylor said.

During the open house, members of the 119th Wing and 5th Bomb Wing remained on hand to answer questions, share details about the new mission and connect with community members. The event gave community members an opportunity to learn more about the partnership and the role it will play in supporting both national defense and Minot's longstanding military community.

HOW THE "HAPPY HOOLIGANS" GOT THEIR NAME Possibly no other Air National Guard has a nickname as well known as the "Happy Hooligans."

Where did that nickname come from?

The North Dakota Air National Guard's 178th Fighter Squadron commander in the mid 1950's was Brig. Gen. Duane S. Larson (retired). Because of his fatherly instincts, (then major) Larson became known as "Pappy" to his entire squadron.

His men were dubbed "Hooligans" for their mischievous antics. Locally, they became known as "Pappy and his Hooligans."

Because of his striking resemblance to the Steve Canyon comic strip character, "Happy Easter," the squadron was soon known as "Happy and his Hooligans," and later shortened to the "Happy Hooligans" (around 1958). Soon everyone around the base was using the nickname "Happy Hooligans" to describe the squadron.

According to unit lore, the name really took hold because of events at a 1950s summer camp at Volk Field. Legend has it the 178 Fighter Squadron had

to march on the ramp to make up for the late night shenanigans of throwing all the "brass" out of bed after the club closed for the night. While marching on the ramp the next day with their 178th FS commander at their side, Maj. Duane Pappy Larson, the 119th Group Commander, Lt. Col. Marsh Johnson, called the Squadron a bunch of Hooligans to which someone answered "we might be Hooligans but we are happy Hooligans."

In the early 1960's, the North Dakota Air National Guard was searching for a motto to set them apart from other units (similar to the Pittsburgh motto: "Have no fear, a Sam is near"). A contest was held to choose an official nickname; no names received topped "Happy Hooligans," so it was officially adopted as the unit's nickname.

In 1964, during the Air National Guard’s Rick's Trophy competition, "Happy Hooligans" was painted on the unit's F-89J aircraft. This was the first time it appeared on the aircraft, but since then, each North Dakota Air National Guard aircraft has carried that motto/logo prominently displayed on the tail.

TALENT ATTRACTION SUMMIT DRAWS WORKFORCE EXPERTS FROM ACROSS U.S. MACEDC Economic Development Specialist | Military Liaison Keli Rosselli-Sullivan attended the RoleCall Talent Attraction Summit for the fourth year in a row — this time in Buffalo, New York. The annual summit brings together economic development professionals, chamber leaders, and workforce practitioners from across the country to share ideas and explore new ways of attracting talent to their communities.

The three-day event centered on placemaking and talent attraction, and how communities can create environments where people forge meaningful connections, build careers, and genuinely belong. Sessions explored how media coverage can serve as a powerful talent attraction tool, the importance of welcoming retiring service members into a community’s workforce, and how AI workflows can support talent attraction.

“Talent attraction is all about helping people find a place where they belong, and this summit helps us get better at doing that,” RosselliSullivan said. “Each year, I come back with new ideas and connections to help us move our talent attraction strategy forward in the Minot area.”

MINOT STUDENTS HEADED TO BISMARCK FOR NATIONAL CIVICS BEE® STATE FINALS Five Minot-area middle schoolers will compete at the North Dakota State Finals of the National Civics Bee® this month in Bismarck.

The state competition is set for Friday, July 10, at the North Dakota State Capitol's Brynhild Haugland Room. The event is hosted by the Greater North Dakota Chamber and brings together student finalists who advanced through the regional round hosted by the Minot Area Chamber EDC in April.

Judges this year include: Chad Calvert, Senior Director of State Government Affairs at Chevron Kayla Pulvermacher, Government Relations Manager at Midco Ryan Taylor, Director of Public Policy at Ducks Unlimited and a former North Dakota Senator Chad Oban, Executive Director of North Dakota United, will serve as emcee.

The state champion will earn a trip to Washington, D.C., to compete in the National Civics Bee Championship this fall, where the grand prize is a $100,000 contribution to a 529 college savings plan.

The National Civics Bee is a nonpartisan annual competition designed to strengthen civic knowledge among middle school students.

AMBASSADORS SET FOR BUSY SUMMER OF RIBBON CUTTINGS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS The Ambassadors Committee gathered in June to prepare for “the busy season” of ribbon cuttings: summer months tend to bring an uptick in celebrations, and 2026 is no different. The committee's 70 members are coordinating schedules and continuing outreach efforts to ensure every milestone gets the celebration it deserves.

From new member recruitment and visitations to ribbon cutting and ground-breaking ceremonies, the Ambassadors play a key role in connecting to the community — and summer puts that role front and center.

At the June Infrastructure Committee meeting, engineers from Houston Engineering and AckermanEstvold walked members through the current state of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project, with drone footage providing a bird’s-eye view of construction underway near Roosevelt Park. MI-6 is actively under construction, with flood walls advancing and a new pump station taking shape near Roosevelt Park Pool. Flood walls are slated to go up in early July.

MI-7, running through the park and the zoo, should see levees and flood walls substantially complete this summer, while zoo exhibit relocation and construction will continue for about two more years.

VIRTUAL EXPO TO CONNECT VETERANS WITH CAREERS, BENEFITS, AND SUPPORT North Dakota Job Service is hosting a free virtual event this summer aimed at helping veterans and transitioning service members take their next step after the military.

The After Action: Veteran Careers, Benefits & Resource Virtual Expo takes place August 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Central Time. The event brings together employers, educators, VA benefit advisors, and veteran-friendly supportive services — all in one online space.

Attendees can connect with employers who are actively hiring, including The Exchange, which is recruiting for restaurant manager, shift manager, food service worker and supervisor positions.

Employment service providers including Job Service North Dakota, JSND Veterans Employment Services, Veteran Readiness and Employment, and Veterans Inc. will also be on hand to help with job placement, resume writing, interview prep and more.

MACEDC ATTENDS GLOBAL BUSINESS CONNECTIONS CONFERENCE IN FARGO Minot Area Chamber EDC Economic Development Specialist Mark Lyman attended the North Dakota Trade Office's Global Business Connections Conference in Fargo on June 4, connecting with industry leaders and trade specialists from across the state and beyond. The full-day conference covered tariffs, trade financing, market research, and artificial intelligence tools for global expansion.

The event was a reminder of the importance of connecting local producers to global markets – a practice MACEDC engages in directly via the Minot Intermodal Facility, owned by MACEDC and operated by Rail Modal Group. The facility gives North Dakota exporters a reliable way to send agricultural commodities and manufactured products by rail to ports in Seattle and Tacoma for shipment around the world.

STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA SEEKS INPUT ON LANGUAGE ACCESS SERVICES The State of North Dakota is conducting a statewide Language Access Survey, and the MACEDC member investors are encouraged to take part.

The survey, developed by a coalition of service providers across sectors, is gathering input on the needs, gaps, and strengths related to serving multilingual and newcomer community members. Organizers are looking to hear from anyone whose work touches English language learners or individuals with limited English proficiency, including businesses, schools, health organizations, nonprofits, and government agencies.

The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and covers topics like what translation and interpretation resources your organization currently uses, what languages your team has fielded requests in, and what challenges come up when communicating across language barriers. The answers gathered will help identify gaps, strengthen language access, and guide the development of future resources and training that support both providers and the communities they serve.

Clark launched Lexi Lou Floral in 2019 and has since grown the business into both a thriving floral studio and a welcoming space for fellow entrepreneurs and makers. Reflecting on her early days as a business owner, she encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to confidently share their work with others. “Tell people that you own a business. This is what you do. Be proud of it!” she said. “I didn't do that for years.”

In addition to serving floral clients, Clark now provides space within her store for other small businesses, helping entrepreneurs test concepts and reach customers without the expense of operating their own storefronts.

She also shared her appreciation for the support she's received throughout her entrepreneurial journey. “I love my community,” Clark said. “I'm very thankful for this town.”

MINOT STATE EARNS AN A+ IN PREPARING TEACHERS TO TEACH READING FROM NCTQ Minot State University’s teacher education program has earned an A+ rating from the National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ) for its preparation of future elementary educators in reading instruction.

The recognition comes as part of NCTQ’s 2026 Teacher Prep Review, which evaluates how well teacher preparation programs equip future teachers with evidence-based reading instruction practices aligned with the science of reading.

“We are deeply committed to preparing our students to teach reading well to all learners and are happy to have been recognized for that dedication,” said Lisa Borden-King, MSU associate professor and director of the Teacher Licensure Program.

The A+ designation is awarded to programs that demonstrate exceptional preparation in the five core components of scientifically based reading instruction: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

NCTQ’s review examines teacher preparation programs across the nation and evaluates course materials, assignments, assessments, and clinical experiences to determine how effectively institutions prepare teacher candidates to teach reading using research-based practices.

According to NCTQ, programs earning an A+ not only adequately cover all five components of reading instruction but also exceed the organization’s benchmarks and avoid teaching practices that run contrary to current reading research.

Minot State was one of 227 institutions to earn an A+ nationwide.

Minot State’s teacher education programs are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and prepare educators for careers in classrooms across the region and nation. SRT COMMUNICATIONS MARKS 75 YEARS OF INNOVATION; FOUR BOARD MEMBERS ELECTED SRT Communications held its annual meeting and director election on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the North Dakota State Fair Center in Minot.

The meeting highlighted SRT’s 75th anniversary with exhibits and presentations that celebrate A History of Innovation. Highlights of the event included the recognition of one of SRT’s longtime members, Claire, the inviting of all SRT employees in attendance in front of the stage, and the unveiling of a commissioned anniversary art piece by local artist EJ Rose.

BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE: TOWN & COUNTRY CREDIT UNION DETAILS UPCOMING PROJECT For 30 years, Town & Country Credit Union’s Minot Main branch at 615 South Broadway has served as a landmark, but it's now reached the end of its effective life. After decades of use, it faces significant and expensive challenges, including HVAC and foundation issues, water problems, space limitations, and inefficient layouts.

We're excited and ready to begin this multi-year project. We'll start with demolition, followed by the construction of a new building. Here's what you need to know about Minot branch access starting July 31.

1.The Minot Main branch will be closing, and the last day for lobby access will be Friday, July 31, 2026. The driveup will remain open through Friday, August 7, but the ATM will be decommissioned and removed during this week.

2.We will open a Temporary Branch in our parking lot behind Minot Main on Monday, August 3rd, that will be open throughout the construction project. The temporary branch will have a one-lane drive-up and teller line.

3.All other staff regularly found at Minot Main, including the Town & Country Insurance Agency, are moving to a new location at 31st Ave SW in Minot.

4.The 31st Ave branch will open on Monday, August 10th, with a teller line but no drive-up. Prior to the building's official open date, credit union staff and lenders will be available by appointment.

VERENDRYE ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE HOLDS SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL MEETING power lines, replacing poles and keeping up with technology.

Verendrye recorded an average outage time of 41 minutes per meter in 2025. It is very difficult to achieve an average outage time of less than 60 minutes per meter, which is well below the state and national averages.

Gjellstad said converting overhead power lines to underground lines has helped the cooperative improve reliability.

During the 87th Annual Meeting cooperative leaders reported how Verendrye Electric Cooperative continues to maintain a strong financial position, improve reliability and contribute to communities.

“Powering Your Community” was the theme this year, demonstrating how the cooperative does more than just provide dependable and affordable electricity to homes, farms and businesses.

Verendrye continued the tradition of a festive meeting with The Waddington Brothers performing on stage for the second year in a row, kids playing in bouncy houses and over 2,000 people enjoying a free meal.

The $3,000 grand prize was not awarded, but a consolation prize of $2,000 was awarded to Rat Schwarz of Minot.

“The annual meeting is a tradition at Verendrye Electric that allows us to get together with friends and neighbors to conduct co-op business while having a good meal and a good time,” said Clint Gjellstad, board chairman.

Three incumbent directors were re-elected without opposition to serve another three-year term. They were Maxine Rognlien of Towner, Bob Wolf of Minot and Robert Hargrave of Rice Lake.

Verendrye spends around $8 million each year on a workplan that includes replacing aging power lines, replacing overhead power lines with underground

“At the end of 2025 we had a total of 4,622 miles of power lines, serving 16,862 main meters, in parts of seven counties. We are pleased to announce, for the first time, the majority of our power lines are underground,” he said. “We still aggressively pursue converting overhead power lines to underground lines.

With 2,324 miles of underground and 2,298 miles of overhead, this makes your cooperative a leader in percentage of miles of line being under ground.”

General Manager Brad Doll reported that kilowatt-hour sales have been flat for the past 11 years at just below 600 million kWh. There is optimism for future growth in sales with a helicopter facility nearing completion at the Minot Air Force Base and other facilities that will be needed for the new Sentinel missile system currently in the planning stages.

Doll demonstrated Verendrye’s sales diversity with a pie chart showing kWh sales spread across five categories – industrial and large business at 27%, commercial and small business at 21%, farms and cities each at around 20% and military at 13%.

“Usually when we have a downturn in one category the other four are not affected. This certainly makes for a strong cooperative versus a cooperative that has 90% of its sales in the industrial category which can swing up or down with the price of commodities,” Doll said.

Next year’s annual meeting will be June 10.

FIRST INTERNATIONAL BANK & TRUST CELEBRATES DELAURIERS; DRADY BECOMES CHIEF BANKING OFFICER After more than 35 years of service, Blaine DesLauriers, Vice Chairman of First International Bank & Trust (FIBT), retired on June 30, 2026, concluding a career defined by integrity, strong relationships, and a deep commitment to community.

Blaine played a key role in shaping FIBT into the organization it is today. He was instrumental during major growth initiatives, including the bank’s acquisition of Midwest Federal in the early 90s, where his deep knowledge of the bank, its people, and its communities helped guide thoughtful integration and long-term success.

Throughout his tenure, Blaine was a steady, trusted leader known for discipline, respect, and vision.

Widely respected for leading by example, Blaine built strong relationships across the bank and throughout the communities FIBT serves, particularly in Minot and Ward County. His community involvement included leadership roles with organizations such as Minot State University and the YMCA. Blaine is also known as a mentor who took great pride in developing others and fostering a people-first culture. His legacy lives on through FIBT’s continued success and the many individuals he helped guide along the way. In addition to his banking career, Blaine recently announced his candidacy for the North Dakota House of Representatives, reflecting his lifelong passion for public service.

As part of a carefully planned leadership transition, John Drady became Chief Banking Officer on July 1, 2026.

John previously served as Central Market President and brings more than 30 years of experience and a deep connection to FIBT’s culture. In his new role, he will lead market presidents and oversee treasury management and sales enablement, supporting balanced deposit and lending growth while strengthening the relationships that define the bank.

MINOT AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SUPPORTS LOCAL MOTIVES AND LEVITT AMP MINOT MUSIC SERIES The Minot Area Community Foundation (MACF) is pleased to announce a $26,930 grant to Local Motives in support of the inaugural Levitt AMP Minot Music Series. The grant is funded through MACF's Chuck and Madge Westlie Fund.

The Levitt AMP Minot Music Series will bring free live music to downtown Minot throughout the summer, creating opportunities for residents and visitors to gather, connect, and experience a diverse lineup of performers. The series is made possible through a grant from the Levitt Foundation, which selected Minot as part of its national program supporting free outdoor music in communities across the country.

Local Motives, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating community and opportunity in downtown Minot, will host the series at Citizens Alley. As the operator of Citizens Alley, Local Motives has worked to create vibrant community experiences that strengthen connections and enhance quality of life in Minot.

Jessica Ackerman, founder of Local Motives, shares: “The Levitt AMP Minot Music Series is about enlivening spaces like Citizens Alley, where people come together, feel welcome, and connect with each other. NDSU NORTH CENTRAL RESEARCH EXTENSION CENTER FIELD DAY SET FOR JULY 15 Farmers, crop advisers, agribusiness professionals and community members are invited to a field day hosted by North Dakota State University’s North Central Research Extension Center on July 15. The annual event will provide the latest research-based information on crop production, livestock, soil health, pest management and agricultural markets from NDSU Extension specialists and researchers.

The annual field day highlights current research addressing the challenges and opportunities facing North Dakota agriculture.

“The NCREC field day is the opportunity to see how the research and Extension efforts at NCREC directly benefit producers,” says Shana Forster, director of NDSU's North Central Research Extension Center. “It is a great opportunity to interact with researchers and Extension specialists.”

ACKERMAN-ESTVOLD ANNOUNCES CERTIFICATIONS OF TWO EMPLOYEES Ackerman-Estvold, a professional engineering and architectural firm headquartered in Minot, announced that two of its employees have earned professional certifications: Kevin Ploof recently earned his Wetland Professional of Minnesota from the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources.

Ploof attended training, tested, and passed to earn his Certified Minnesota Wetland Professional license. By earning this designation Kevin has an advanced understanding of multiple subject areas: wetland identification and delineation, wetland restoration, State and Federal wetland regulations (rules, policies, procedures), wetland functional assessment, and wetland monitoring in the state of Minnesota. Ploof is also the lead of our Ackerman-Estvold Environmental team and helping provide other environmental services to clients in North Dakota which include wetland delineations, US Army Corps of Engineers 404 permitting, Phase I. Sam Paszek recently earned his Professional In-Training (PIT) Certification from the Minnesota Wetland Professional Program through the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources.

Paszek attended training and has passed testing to earn his certification as a Minnesota Wetland Professional In-Training. ACKERMAN-ESTVOLD WELCOMES ALEX HAMMAN AS A PROJECT DESIGNER Alex Hamman has joined the Ackerman-Estvold Minot office as a full time Project Designer.

Hamman earned Bachelor of Architecture, May of 2025, and Master of Architecture, May of 2026, from North Dakota State University, Fargo, North Dakota. Alex has experience with large property management, and she has been serving our architectural team as an intern since May of 2025. Hamman has been working on design development, construction documents, and modelling existing conditions for various projects in Minot and the surrounding area which impact our residents and community.

As she settles into the headquarters office in Minot, she will continue to work in conceptual design, design development, and construction management on additional architectural projects.

HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY LIMITS UPDATED North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA) has adjusted eligibility limits for programs that assist state residents, typically first-time buyers, with a home purchase. NDHFA provides down payment and closing cost assistance and reduced interest rate mortgage loans to income-qualified households.

“NDHFA has helped more than 56,000 North Dakota families buy their first home,” said Brandon Dettlaff, NDHFA executive director. “Through our agency, thousands of new and returning residents have been assisted in establishing themselves in our communities.”

Through NDHFA’s FirstHome™ program, low- to moderate-income buyers who have not owned a home in the last three years can receive the purchase assistance. The agency’s HomeAccess program provides similar benefits to single parents, veterans, and families with disabled or elderly household members.

The new maximum income limits for the programs are $105,730 to $121,590, depending on family size. The

acquisition cost limits were set at $500,000 for a single-family home and approved higher limits for existing two- to four-unit properties.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Internal Revenue Service regulate the income and acquisition cost limits, respectively.

“Last year, with the support of our private-sector partners, NDHFA provided 1,739 first-time homebuyers with more than $10 million in purchase assistance,” said Dettlaff.

The average FirstHome loan purchased by NDHFA in 2025 was just under $240,000, and the average borrower’s household income was $74,336.

Approved, private-sector lenders originate the loans on NDHFA’s behalf and sell them to the agency when they are closed. Parties interested in learning more about the agency’s programs will find information online at ndhousing.nd.gov or by contacting a participating lender.

MINOT AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND MAKES FIRST AWARDS TO AREA STUDENTS The Minot Area Community Foundation (MACF) is pleased to announce the first scholarship awards from three newly established endowment scholarship funds, supporting area students as they pursue their educational goals.

The Terry Boe Memorial Scholarship fund has awarded a $1,500 scholarship to Tate Heer of Douglas, North Dakota. Heer plans to attend Bismarck State College to pursue education as an Electrical Lineman. Established in memory of Terry Boe, a Minot native who dedicated his career to the skilled trades, the scholarship supports students pursuing careers in the trades and reflects Terry's strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and pride in hands-on work.

The James Lowe Memorial Scholarship fund has awarded a $500 scholarship to Evelyn Isaak of Drake, North Dakota. Isaak plans to attend Minot State University to study Social Work and Criminal Justice. Established to honor James Lowe's legacy, the scholarship supports LGBTQIA+ students with demonstrated financial need as they pursue higher education and work toward the future they envision.

The Pathways Legacy Scholarship fund has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Olivia Fahy of Anamoose, North Dakota. Fahy plans to attend the University of North Dakota to study Biology. The scholarship supports graduating seniors from Minot and the surrounding area who demonstrate responsibility, commitment, and intention as they pursue post-secondary education or training. The fund was created to continue the legacy of community volunteers and educators whose dedication helped create educational opportunities for local students.

In 2026, Scholarship funds facilitated by the Minot Area Community Foundation awarded more than $98,000 to area high school seniors. Since scholarship awards began in 2008, more than $1.1 million has been awarded to local students through funds held at the Foundation.

ROOSEVELT PARK ZOO WELCOMES NEW AMUR LEOPARD AS PART OF GLOBAL CONSERVATION EFFORT Visitors to Roosevelt Park Zoo may “spot” a new face in the Amur Leopard Forest Habitat. Zorinka, a 3-year-old female Amur leopard, has arrived from the San Diego Zoo following a breeding recommendation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ (AZA) Amur Leopard Species Survival Plan® (SSP). She will join Roosevelt Park Zoo’s male Amur leopard, Jordan, as part of an effort to help ensure the future of one of the world’s rarest big cats.

Amur leopards are classified as Critically Endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), with fewer than 100 individuals remaining in the wild. The species is native to the temperate forests of eastern Russia and northeastern China, where habitat loss, declining prey populations, poaching, and illegal wildlife trade continue to threaten its survival.

Through participation in the AZA Species Survival Plan, Roosevelt Park Zoo is contributing to the long term conservation of the species by helping maintain a healthy and genetically diverse population in human care. The hope is that collaborative breeding efforts today will help safeguard the species for generations to come.

“Zorinka’s arrival is a double win for our community,” said Roosevelt Park Zoo Director Dr. Logan Wood. “Not only are Amur leopards a beautiful and dynamic species for our guests to experience, but they also represent a real-world conservation success story in progress. With this species on the brink of extinction in the wild, accredited zoos around the world are working together to manage a breeding program that helps ensure Amur leopards will endure into the future.”

Wood added, “Every birth and every successful pairing contributes to a larger global effort. Programs like the one at Roosevelt Park Zoo demonstrate how conservation organizations can work together to protect vulnerable species. Our ultimate hope is that these efforts may one day support reintroduction opportunities in the wild.”

Guests are encouraged to visit the Amur Leopard Forest Habitat to catch a glimpse of Zorinka as she settles into her new home and becomes acquainted with her surroundings.

For the Roosevelt Park Zoo, Zorinka’s arrival is more than just a new exhibit animal — it is a reminder that conservation happens through collaboration, dedication, and a shared commitment to protecting wildlife for future generations. Thanks to the ongoing support of the Minot community, the Zoo is able to participate in global conservation initiatives that help safeguard endangered species and inspire future wildlife stewards.

ASPIRE CREDIT UNION PARTNERS WITH COMPANIONS FOR CHILDREN TO SUPPORT LOCAL YOUTH COMMUNITY GIVING Aspire Credit Union is proud to announce its 2026 nonprofit partnership with Companions for Children, a local organization dedicated to helping youth build confidence, connections, and opportunities through meaningful mentoring relationships.

Each year, Aspire Credit Union selects a nonprofit organization to highlight and support through volunteerism, fundraising, and community awareness efforts. This year, Aspire is honored to partner with Companions for Children, an organization that has been serving youth in the Minot area since 1972.

"At Aspire Credit Union, we believe in investing in people and strengthening our community," said Rianne Kuhn, Marketing and Community Impact Director.

"Companions for Children is making a lasting impact on the lives of local youth, and we're excited to help raise awareness of their mission while encouraging others to get involved.”

Companions for Children serves nearly 200 local youth annually through mentoring programs that help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and create meaningful connections with caring adults in the community. The organization follows nationally recognized mentoring standards established by MENTOR and outlined in the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™, ensuring that every mentoring relationship is built on a strong foundation of safety, trust, and long-term success.

As part of the partnership, Aspire Credit Union will host several donation drives throughout the summer.

June has brought in Lego, or brick building kits. In July, Aspire will collect craft kits, including activities such as diamond art, painting, pottery, and other hands-on projects that encourage creativity and connection.

Community members may also support the partnership through financial contributions, which will help provide resources and opportunities for local

youth participating in Companions for Children programs.

In addition to fundraising efforts, Aspire employees are actively involved in mentoring programs. Several team members currently serve as Pen Pals, exchanging letters with local fifth-grade students throughout the school year, while others participate as Lunch Pals, meeting with elementary students during lunch to provide encouragement, conversation, and a consistent positive presence.

"Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer a child is simply showing up," said Kuhn. "Our employees have seen firsthand how meaningful these relationships can be, and we encourage others in our community to explore volunteer opportunities."

Companions for Children is currently recruiting additional volunteers for several mentoring programs, including Pen Pals, Lunch Pals, and one-to-one mentoring opportunities. ASPIRE CREDIT UNION PROMOTES THREE IN LENDING DEPARTMENT, HIRES TWO OPERATIONS STAFF Aspire Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotions of three team members whose leadership, expertise, and commitment to serving members continue to strengthen the organization’s lending team.

Alissa Mack has been promoted to Mortgage Loan Officer. Since joining Aspire Credit Union in October 2019, Alissa has served as a Consumer Loan Processor and Collections Officer, managing delinquencies while building trusted relationships with both members and colleagues. Her dedication to service and deep understanding of lending have earned her the respect of those she works with and serves. Most recently, Alissa was recognized as ‘Best Loan Officer’ in the Minot Daily News Best of the Best awards, an honor voted on by members of the community that reflects her commitment to helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals.

Kayli Olson has been promoted to Junior Mortgage Lender. Since joining Aspire Credit Union in March 2024, Kayli has become an integral part of the mortgage team, particularly through her work with balloon mortgages. Her enthusiasm for learning and remarkable professional growth have positioned her well for expanded responsibilities.

Harmony Wilkie has been promoted to Lead Mortgage Processor. Joining Aspire Credit Union in October 2025, Harmony brought extensive mortgage processing experience to the organization. Peyton Alford has joined Aspire as a Member Service Representative. EASTERSEALS GOODWILL NORTH DAKOTA LAUNCHES NEW HOME PICKUP SERVICE After hearing from donors who wanted a more convenient way to give, Easterseals Goodwill North Dakota (ESGWND) is launching a new home donation pickup service that makes donating furniture, household goods, and bulk items easier than ever. The service will initially launch in Bismarck and Fargo, with additional locations expected to follow statewide. Every donation collected through this service will support ESGWND programs that create opportunities for independence, inclusion, and employment throughout North Dakota.

This fee-based service is made possible by a partnership between ESGWND and ReSupply, a veteran-founded logistics technology platform. ReSupply’s licensed and insured haulers provide pickup services directly from donors’ homes, including heavy lifting, disassembly, and large-item removal. Most pickups can be scheduled within 24-48 hours, providing a hassle-free solution for donors who may not have the time, transportation, or ability to bring larger items to a donation center. ReSupply specializes in handling donations of all sizes and conditions while helping keep usable items out of landfills. Pickup fees are quoted in advance based on the size and scope of the donation and help cover transportation and hauling costs (such as insurance and gas) incurred by third-party haulers.

Through ReSupply, donors can schedule pickups for furniture and large-item donations, estate or home cleanouts, and bulk donations. Pickup of smaller donations (such as bags of clothing or boxes of housewares) can be arranged through ReSupply’s Courier Service.

Designed to make donating easier while maximizing community impact, the service offers: Next-Day Pickup: Donors can schedule a pickup within 24-48 hours by visiting ESGWND’s website and clicking the “Schedule a Pickup” button or by calling (701) 575-7484. Once donors submit a few details about their items, ReSupply provides a fee quote and confirms the pickup time.

White-Glove Service: ReSupply removes items from anywhere in the home, including upper floors, oversized furniture, and items requiring disassembly.

Donations Delivered: Once pickup is complete, donations will be delivered to ESGWND’s local Goodwill retail store, and donors will receive a digital tax receipt for the items that were donated.

Revenue generated through donated goods helps fund ESGWND programs and services that create opportunities for independence, inclusion, and employment throughout the region.
