OPEN TO ALL MACEDC MEMBER INVESTOR BUSINESSES & THEIR EMPLOYEES AGRIBUSINESS COMMITTEE CHAIR – MAT JENSEN, FIRST INTERNATIONAL BANK & TRUST The Agribusiness Committee works hard to spread the word about the Minot area’s role in the state’s top industry by sponsoring breakfast for youth livestock exhibitors at the ND State Fair and hosting the Dinner on the Prairie signature event. MEETS QUARTERLY AT 12:00 P.M.
AMBASSADORS COMMITTEE CHAIR – KRISTI ROSSELLI-SULLIVAN, QDOBA Getting involved just got more fun by joining the “red coats!” The official public relations arm of the Minot Area Chamber EDC, this elite group visits Chamber EDC member investors, cuts ribbons, and helps host Business after Hours. Committee limited to 70 members. MEETS THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 4:30 P.M.
ENERGY COMMITTEE CHAIR – GRANT FELDNER, CHEVRON Energy is a key economic driver for our state. The Energy Committee, in partnership with Bakken API, facilitates open discussions among members and engages with key stakeholders focusing on timely topics that drive further energy development. MEETS QUARTERLY
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE CHAIR – ROSCOE STREYLE, BRAVERA Keep up to date on policy and legislation that faces business both locally and nationally. The committee helps to prepare the Chamber EDC’s legislative agenda, hosts legislative & candidate forums, and educates the community on key issues. MEETS THE THIRD WEDNESDAY EVERY OTHER MONTH AT 3:30 P.M.
INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE CHAIR – PAUL KRAMER, ACKERMAN-ESTVOLD This committee is focused on educating members on area infrastructure projects. A community speaker is featured each month and regular updates are provided by the city, county, and state regarding transportation, parks, utilities, technology, and more. MEETS THE SECOND FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 7:30 A.M.
MILITARY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE CHAIR – TOM RAFFERTY, VERENDRYE ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE Lead and strengthen the relationship between the community and the military through the Military Affairs Committee. The group sponsors a wide variety of military appreciation activities and events. There is an annual fee of $150. MEETS THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 12:00 P.M.
