Position Overview
The Development Manager plays a key leadership role in advancing Amnion’s lifeaffirming mission by strengthening financial support, building long-term donor relationships, and expanding partnerships with churches and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Donor Development
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with individual donors and organizations
Manage ongoing donor communication and engagement
Expand the financial base to support ministry growth
Church & Community Engagement
Serve as an ambassador of Amnion’s mission to churches and community partners
Conduct presentations, attend events, and support outreach efforts
Develop partnerships that lead to financial support and client referrals
Fundraising Events
Plan and execute major fundraising initiatives, including the Annual Walk/Run and Annual Banquet
Recruit sponsors and community partners to support fundraising goals
Volunteer Management
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for events and outreach activities
Maintain an engaged volunteer network aligned with the mission
Grants & Foundations
Research and apply for grants and foundation funding
Identify new funding opportunities
Required Qualifications
Mission Alignment

Professional Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience in fundraising, donor development, and event planning
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated
