One of the most interesting experiences I’ve had so far during my rotations has been my role in reliability.
I’ve learned how significant reliability is in the mining industry.
I’ve worked on asset maintenance strategies and parameters for crushers and screens, conducted root cause analysis and examined oil samples and vibrations of various components to track wear and tear. This has broadened my knowledge and driven my enthusiasm for a successful career in this field.

To be eligible you’ll need to:
• Be in your final study year or have graduated from a recognised university within the past two years
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or have full working rights at the time of application
• Ideally have demonstrated relevant experience in your discipline
• Be prepared to work in various locations in a FIFO capacity depending on roles
It would be beneficial if you’ve completed a vacation program in the mining and resources sector, but not essential.

I have actively contributed to exciting projects within each of my rotations including design and execution of upgrades to our existing crushing plants, reliability and maintenance of fixed plant, and so much more. Various reviews then take place, including reference and police checks. You’ll also complete a 10 minute, online, gamified aptitude test.
Applications are shortlisted by the MinRes recruitment team - candidates who aren’t progressing will find out at this stage.
You’ll be invited to an interview with MinRes leaders to tell them more about yourself and your suitability for the graduate program.
You’ll be asked to visit our headquarters at 20 Walters Drive, Osborne Park, to undertake a pre-employment medical.
If you progress through the stages you’ll be made an employment offer for the graduate program.
