From the Editor’s Desk came to me to release the Waves newsletter (Vol-6) in the absence of past VPPR TM Suhana. With the support of club Excom & members, we managed to release the newsletter within three days.

Message from Area Director

At

the outset I congratulate President TM Shafi and his vibrant excom members for taking TM RIANA PINTO up the leadership roles and Director, Area 22 marching ahead with great passion. No task can be fulfilled to its core, unless it is done with great Passion. I have witnessed the passion in the MTW Excom team the desire to set new standard of their club meetings, improvise the quality of meetings, motivate the members with encouraging words in every message and the thirst to achieve success. It is my pleasure to work with such vibrant team who are so enthusiastic, energetic and great motivators who aspire to learn and be better communicators and leaders.

I sincerely appreciate all the new office bearers for attending the first Club Officers Training along with Assistants and achieving 7 on 7 proving your commitment to your leadership roles.

Over the holiday season in July to September, Mindtune Waves club has jointly organized four meetings with different clubs in Doha which has enabled them to get good exposure and learn a lot from different clubs in town. This is noteworthy and commendable job by Excom and compliment all club members on this effort.

Mindtune Waves have embarked on a thrilling journey to achieve its set goals and aspire to be better leaders and communicators. My best wishes are always with you and assure all support from Area and Division on this exciting journey of success.

Congratulations on achieving Smedley Award and building member strength of the club and ensuring attendance of new members at Orientation Program organized by Area 22 for new members. This demonstrates the leaders responsibility in leading their members in the right direction and to be successful in their toastmaster journey.

Kudos to VPPR TM Shameer on the great initiative taken to successfully launch club website on start of the term and on release of the first issue of this newsletter.

An opportunity for crisis management

I

reached the venue early morning as it was my first advance project speech as well as that was the first meeting after date change. In Gulf countries, TM MASHOOD VC conducting regular meetings on Friday mornings is a (CC, CL & ALB) challenge, as most of the MW TM Club people want to spend the Founder President time for sleep and normally they wake up very late.

Based on members interest and as per an on-line survey Mindtune Waves toastmasters meeting scheduled to conduct on 13 October Friday at 8.30am.

Immediately after reaching the venue, I started preparation of projector and other facilities considering for advance module speech. TM Abdul Muthalib, an energetic leader in our club had also reached the venue well in advance as he had booked the hotel in coordination with Sergeant at Arms, which is the first meeting with the revised schedule. He himself arranged the hall without waiting for the hotel workers to save time. I moved out after my work and again reached the venue at 8.10am, where only 20 minutes were remaining to start the meeting. When I entered the venue, I noticed a confusion among the members who reached the venue, we saw many new guests, all the ExCom members greeted the “guests” warmly to ensure their membership with the club. Later we understood that they are not guests for our meeting, instead they came for another club meeting. Meanwhile I noticed that Abdul Muthalib was talking over phone with little higher voice, and I realized that he was communicating with the representative of Hotel, who accepted the booking for club meeting, which has now became conflict due to double booking for a single meeting room.

After closing the phone, I asked him, “What happened”, he replied that “the same meeting room has been booked for another toastmasters meeting, I was discussing with the hotel representative over phone on how it had happened? I approached the

representatives those who reached for other meeting. “How many members expected to attend the meeting?” They replied, “We are expecting 13 members, and this is very important crucial executive meeting and 6 presentations are scheduled and the projector facility also required. I suggested them to meet in a small room in ground floor offering a projector facility and screen. Abdul Muthalib brought a white cloth from his car and I brought the tape from my car. (Normally we carry most of such stationeries and items in our cars to use in case of emergency). They agreed with smile and we both proceeded for the meeting.

On the same day after noon, I reached the venue of Toastmasters family meet. While discussing with DTM Rajesh VC, about the crisis, which occurred same day morning, I informed him that only because of other club official’s support only we could able to manage the situation and the meeting conducted successfully with participation of more than 35 attendees. He replied to me “TM Mashood, that was not a club executive meeting but a prescheduled Division Q Executive meeting”. I really surprised and realized that they are the real leaders. They did not commend anything about their meeting instead they accepted to move to a small room without any hesitation as well as guided us to get breakfast as the hotel arranged breakfast for them only. Immediately I took the number and dialed to TM Bijith (Division Director) to express our gratitude. That crisis taught us how the toastmasters communality working effectively and helping each other to improve the leadership skills. Division officials sacrificed the venue and facility for club meeting.

I also wish to remind the Sergeant @ Arms of each clubs to ensure the meeting venue is booked properly with clear information such as name of the club, number of attendees etc. The hotel management may book the hall with toastmasters name only especially in Qatar, many toastmasters clubs are very active and most of the hotels and venues are busy with routine club meetings and special events of toastmasters.

us help one another to achieve our targets set to be completed within a time period. Have you set your goal charts? Can you show me the goal chart?

Let me know your goals and targets. Let us work together by helping each other. I have set my goals. I have to deliver hundreds of speeches within the next two years. I have an urgent message to be disseminated immediately to the public. It is nothing other than non-violence based on the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi never propagated any particular religion. Tolerance was his religion. He never believed in attacking somebody. He never liked to describe the British with un-parliamentary and hateful words. Even during the peak time of the freedom fighting, Mahatma Gandhi addressed them “Dear Brothers’.

He succeeded in convincing his followers that nonviolence is an ideology which doesn’t permit them to take revenge even at the most favorable occasions.

Mahatma Gandhi’s concept of non violence has to be widely spread. I have decided to engage myself in the way of this great effort. It is my goal.

You all will have some similar goals. Let us all set our goal and decide the target. Let us all help one another to achieve our goals. As part of completing my target, I have to deliver at least two speeches a week.

I request the kind support of you all, so that I can reach the top of the mountain. You will find also me bent enabling you all to put your steps on my shoulder and reach the mountain of your goal.

A View to Family Relationship

My

little daughter, a KG student was playing with her younger sister and friends TM MUTHALIB in my living room, I was doing some works on my Laptop, during my work I noticed their conversation of my child and her friends, it was very amazing and I kept quiet to hear their complete conversation without making any break on it.

Their conversation was completely focused on our daily normal family life and the dialogues were the same what we used to discuss for our family management. It was included the tone of console, advice, instructions, suggestions, planning etc. with its complete sense. Also they mentioned even financial management and debt clearing, paying the due School Fee, and Room Rent. Etc. I noticed that they repeatedly exclaim about controlling the extravagance on daily livelihood.

I started to think about how a family surroundings directly or indirectly influencing the formation of mind even on children and the importance of keeping the right attitude towards kids to form a better citizen.

As Mr. Charles-R-Swindoll. in his Quote that “Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.�

The changes in present atom family system from extended family system forced to depart from the core values inherited in extended family system.

To keep that values of pedigree every parents have to take necessary steps to arrange family meet to introduce their children about their family relation tree.

I am remembering a function I attended in my last vacation, our Mentor Mr. Mashood VC, arranged a family meet with more than 300 family members at his native place with a colorful program to interact with all grand parents and their children to bring them under one family umbrella, like this continuous effort will be more worth full to keep the relationship as well as knowing their fore families and cultures.

All parents are responsible to take this subject as very important, to spend some times with their kids to explain the story of their family and their ancestors to make an excellent family relationship ever.

life is filled with some categories or categorized such as physical, Emotional, Financial, Family, spiritual & Career. In order to achieve a happiest and fulfilled life continuous improvement required in each area of life. Create a balance life by focusing your time, energy & emotion for the things to most matter to you. So that you can truly work at highest level, to do this you need compelling vision in each area of life.

Having a compelling vision gives us a sense of absolute fulfillment and joy, knowing that we are pursuing something greater than current moment.

SUCCESS CYCLE SMALL VISIONS HAVE NO POWER TO MOVE PEOPLE BLOOD.

PEOPLE’S POTENTIAL IS ALMOST UNLIMITED, BUT THE RESULTS NOT REFLECTS THE LEVEL OF POTENTIAL DUE TO LACK OF BELIEF & ATTITUDE.

If you believe you have limited potential, so u take little bit action and get limited results this reinforce your belief to get a downward spiral to become self-fulfilling prophecy.

By creating a strong powerful vision easily you can change your belief and attitude towards the result. You believe beyond a shadow of doubts that you can get the result, you will take massive quality actions with unlimited potential then you tend to get outstanding results in life. This is upward success cycle.

If you make significance is the number one need of your life, then you always comparing yourself with someone else, and there is always someone better, bigger, stronger, richer, faster, more handsome, more beautiful…then you will never be happy and fulfilled.

If you make grow and contribution is main need of your life with good vision, you will resolve your problems with a sense of absolute certainty. You will start to build a plan, something extra ordinary will happen to achieve your goals, you find new confidence; suddenly see there is a way to get it done. The vision, the goal seeps down your subconscious, and it goes to work to make your dream a reality, that is when the magic Happen!

Purify Mind. Beautify Nature

The

green clean movement is initiated by Mindtune fellow group namely ‘Ecowaves’, which is a community that has a special motto behind it. That is, every individual in this community become responsible people in creating a purer, safer and healthier world to live in.

Together with this plan, it practices as a follow-up community that aims to encourage individuals to continue the plan of action post training. It is thus believed, that only by cleaning and purifying the mind, we can see the nature around in its malicious state so that we rise together to stand-up and we become indebted to clean our surroundings and environment to beautify nature.

Environment is the source of existence.

There is an ecology system for Every living things to live around in the universe.

Avoiding the embryo, causing serious environmental damage due to our self-esteem and selfishness only.

This is the occasion when the struggle for survival is inevitable.

Our minds should be clean first, so that the passive air, the living water, the soil and the light will be clear.

Then this home land will become beautiful by the green shine.

We are excited to make remarkable movements of the MindTune movement through the retraining campaign of Waves.

The present world has a serious task that asks us to make the campaign “purify mind, beautify nature.”

Waves associations working in different corners of the world are now set to revolutionize the ‘EcoWaves’ “Purify mind & Beautify Nature” resolution with a new direction.

Mindtune Waves families attended the title and logo launch of Ecowaves, which is the green clean movement of Mindtune. The program was held at Sulthan Bathery Wynad Dist. of Kerala from 26-28 Aug 2017. Mindtune Waves Toastmasters club Founder President TM Mashood VC and club VPPR TM Shameer Hassan lead the programme.

Membership campaign & family meet

As

part of membership campaign, Mindtune Waves Toastmasters Club and Mind tune Ecowaves organized a “Family Meet” on October 13th for the families of club members and various Workshop attendees of Dr. CA Rezakh, International Mindtuner and Happy Life Success Coach.

Hon. Vice Chancellor of Calicut University (Kerala, India), Dr. K. Muhammed Basheer was chief guest and inaugurated the event.

The felicitation speeches were made by Basheer Vadakara (Mindtune Eco Waves Convener) TM Mashood VC (Founder President Mindtune Waves Toastmasters), TM Basheer Hassan, Shoukath (General Secretary Mamwaq), Musthafa Saudia group, TM Jaffer Murchandy (Sgt@arm - mindtune waves toastmasters), TM Muthalib, TM Arafath AK (VP Membership) , TM Shameer PH (VP PR), TM Muneera (Secretary) & Fasila Mashood.

Mindtune Waves Toastmasters club president Shafi PC Palam gave presentation on the topic '26 Action Plans for a successful life’ and Motivational speaker Mr. Joji Mathew explained about the changes in life due to internet addiction. Mr. Abdul Rauf Kondotty delivered speech on topic of financial planning for expatriates.

The momentos were bestowed on Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara for achieving D Litt from Kings University, US for the contributions of arabic learning books and Guides and Nimisha Arafath (W/o TM Arafat AK, VPM) for being a member of GUINNESS WORLD RECORD winning team for the longest croschia (14.08 KM) and for Artist Basheer Nanminda considering his excellent service & support towards the Mindtune waves fraternity.
