Albeit an old saying, “Well begun is half done” is what many a people from our division use nowadays to describe the achievements of Mindtune Waves Toastmasters club. This first issue of the newsletter of the club is another milestone…a humble effort within a couple of months after its charter. This is indeed a great step towards the realization of many a dreams of the MW TM family.

Right from the way its inception has been conducted in contrast to the traditional methods, Mindtune Waves Toastmasters club has been demonstrating its novelty in all aspects of its activities. The MW Toastmasters club is formed by people who have been inspired to achieve the full potential of the mind power through determination and continuous training and hard work. Thus we named our newsletter to depict this collective goal.

The preparation behind this newsletter was challenging; in a sense of both the time and effort. Hence the shortfalls are inevitable. We believe the readers are kind enough to value our initiative. We know we just covered the half path and ‘Miles to go before we sleep’.

Message From the President The first meeting of the ‘Mindtune Waves Toastmasters club’ was held at Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) on 22nd October of 2015; the same day where in Toastmasters club (Smedley Chapter One Club) was formed in 1924 at the YMCA in Santa Ana, California, United States. The wave’s community feels proud of its beginning on such a commemorating date.

Toastmasters International (TI) is a nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members TM Mashood Thiruthiyad improve their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills.

President Through its thousands of member clubs, Toastmasters International Mindtune Waves offers a program of communication and leadership projects designed to Toastmasters Club help people learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking.

Throughout its history, Toastmasters has served over four million people, and today the organization serves over 332,000 members in 135 countries, through its more than 15,400 member clubs.

Mindtune Waves Toastmasters club is another milestone in the history of waves. Mindtune waves is a group of participants who attended the workshop lead by International Mindtuner and success coach Mr. CA Rezakh. He visited Qatar more than 6 times within one and half year and more than 700 people participated in his Mindtune and Businesstune workshops in Qatar. Mindtune turned out to be a popular terminology among all as he lead many sessions in various parts of the world including all GCC countries. We realize the passion and enthusiasm of the club members who are creatively utilizing the platform as an opportunity to express the confidence to face any challenges as practically learned from the transformation workshop. The toastmaster’s senior officials appreciated that the Mindtune Waves toastmasters’ launching ceremony conducted at Ideal School was the first public Toastmasters event with public participation in Qatar. We are very thankful to our Division/Area directors and mentors for their excellent support and guidance which always became an inspiration to our club. We appreciate all executive committee members for the dedicated leadership and members for the support and commitment from day one of the inception of the club.

We encourage all workshop participants and others to spend time for your own development instead of merely spoiling time in non-productive areas.

It gives me immense pleasure to note that the baby club of Division Q, Mindtune Waves Toastmasters Club is bringing out its maiden issue of newsletter: “Waves”. I’m sure that this newsletter will create a lot of waves in the Toastmasters fraternity. Toastmasters Club is a place where we get many opportunities to learn many new things that will make you happy & contented.

Creating a newsletter & a website are two new skills I learnt during my Toastmasters journey. I learnt to create a newsletter when I took up the responsibility of the Editor of “Toasted Tidings”, the newsletter of Qatar Toastmasters. Later I was the Editor of “ENGINEER”, the newsletter of KEF Toastmasters. It’s impossible for me to express the satisfaction & happiness I got while bringing out many issues of these newsletters which were very successful in the Division as well as in the District. I’m sure “Waves” also will become a winner newsletter, soon. I have always enjoyed visiting Mindtune Waves Toastmasters Club. Leaders of this Club has taken the club to a very high level… creating friendship among members like the members of an extended family.

Highly motivated members with positive mindset are the greatest asset of this club.

I believe in the magic mantra: Dream it…Believe it…Do it. Always dream big…believe in your dream & just do it. There is no doubt that the success will be yours. Wishing the Editor cum Vice President Public Relations TM Jaseel Madayi, Editor TM Muneer K, his editorial team, Club Excom & all the members of Mindtune Waves Toastmasters Club, all the very best. God bless & make all your dreams come true.

Congratulations on the occasion of releasing the maiden newsletter! It is amazing to learn that the baby club is releasing itsfirst newsletter within three months of its charter. Kudos to the entire team who have taken the brave step into pursuing such real activities. Yes, since itsinception the club has shown great maturity and enthusiasm in its each move. The Club officer installation and charter kit distribution itself was a grand public function, attended by more than 400 non-toastmasters and thus making a mark in the history of the Toastmasters fraternity of Qatar. Consequently, it added ten new members within one month and achieved the district award and conducted the new member induction in a highly professional manner. Within two months, the club achieved four DCP points. Now, with the news letter within three months of chartering, the club is showing its vigour that no other club have expressed so far. Along with TM. Yoosaf Vannarath developing your oral communication you also get to improve your writing skills Director, Area 53 with this initiative. Yes, when true leaders are leading an organisation, it will showcase expertise regardless of its age. Thanks to International Mindtuner C A Rezak for creating such a wonderful team in Doha and encouraging them to start Toastmasters club. I am indeed very happy and proud to have this club under Area 53 where I am the Area Director. I am sure that this club can become one of the best clubs in the Division.

Its really an honour for me to know that the Mindtune attendees have waved their wings fly up in the sky by launching the Mindtune Waves Toastmasters.

A well structured platform for them to develop their hidden and daring qualities and to master to face their world effectively and confidently.

My Perfect Journey Obviously, like other expatriates I came to Qatar with great expectation. I got the opportunity to work as a Social Science teacher. I was over cautious and over ambitious. At first, I couldn’t perform properly. I learnt many things from India but it was futile. I was really excited and scared whether I could become an efficient teacher.

During that time, fortunately, I joined in Mind Tune Workshop. Actually I thought of quitting from the Mind Tune class by telling some deliberate excuses. Mind Tune class started at 8 am and I was listening to Mr.C.A.Razak’s class. It was very effective and informative. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, but his innumerable ideas inspired me to continue. Actually this class was thought provoking and prolonged till 7.30 pm. I did not want to quit from his class because It was such a stupendous informative session. I became a good listener.

After Mr. C. A. Razak’sclass I understood, how to become a good teacher, husband, father and after all I learnt how to become a good person.

In this modern world, I thought most of the people were materialists and they anticipated only profit from their profession. But I got many service motive friends from Mind Tune Work Shop.

Mr.MashoodThiruthiyad took initiative to start the Mind Tune Waves Toast Master Club in order to develop English communication skill and leadership quality. I hope my hidden talents have been working through Mind Tune Waves successfully. The knowledge which I received from Mr.C.A.Razak through Mind tune, I hope, I can utilize my dedicated service for the welfare of the people.

Words From a Mentor When I was asked to be the club mentor for a new club called "Mind Tunes Waves Toastmasters Club" I had some doubts about this club and its success. The inaugural session of the club had proved my assumptions wrong because the function attracted a huge crowd. That was probably one of the largest crowds attended an induction program ever done by any club in Qatar.

The youngest toastmaster club in the town have already made waves in the toastmasters fraternity in Qatar. The energy and enthusiasm among the members are phenomenon and the catalyst for this energy derives probably from the Mind Tune Programs conducted by the International Motivational Trainer by C.A. Abdul Razak.

What surprised me mostly was the enthusiasm among the club members to grow and develop. As a mentor of the club, I believe the club is in the right hands and I congratulate the President TM Mashood and the whole Excom for their wonderful job already done and their keen interest to take this club to the next level. I have no doubt that this club is going to be one of the biggest clubs in Qatar in terms of members and their participation in all areas of toastmaster activities.

Social Responsibility of professionals We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give –Winston Churchill

This a very meaningful thought by the former US President . After acquiring a professional qualification from any University , students are running behind to achieve a job by campus selection or by walk in interviews or by references. After joining the job they will start buying the quality Brands which their fashion icons are advertising through the medias . Once full filled with I phone , nike & vehicles the dream will be towards the night parties ,the tours with friends and posting selfies . In between they forget about the responsibility towards the society.

If it is a doctor , engineer or an accountant most of them are not thinking about the world around them . I m not ignoring the minority , who are working with NGO s and other social service activities. After the hectic job schedule most of them reach home , just taking rest and spending time in front of the smart phone.

In fact the professionals can do a lot of things than common people can do. For example a common man join a NGO which help people in natural calamity , but the service which he can deliver have a lot of limitations. But if it is a doctor they can save a lot of life. If it is an engineer he can help for electrical works or mechanical works as well. While thinking about the daily life around us , every one can have a space to help the society in their own ways.

In my opinion implant this ideas to every ones mind we should start from the school it self. Encourage our children to join the extra curricular activities like NCC & NSS in the school. In the university they can join the healthy politics if it is available. This will lead them to the mind set of thinking about the world around them and they will realize that achieving the high marks are not only the target of education. This will help them to come out of loneliness, addiction of drinks and mental problems. If they learn this from the schools they cannot run away from society around them. They wont be able to sleep if their neighbor not having the food, They wont able to waste Biriyani if their neigbourhood labor camp starving. They wont shut the door if any poor person came to ask cloths.

The gathering like Toast master & mind tune can make a lot of differences . The same way which we are getting the opportunities to share our ideas and experiences let us invite our friends and colleagues around us also to be the part of socially committed professionals.

Influence of Mindtune I remember the day, as fresh as it happened today, when I attended the Mindtunes Workshop, curious to know what it is all about. The experience was so wonderful that worth sharing. Mr. C.A. Razack, the mind tune trainer, is a humble person with lots of positive energy. He inspires the people who are unaware of their hidden potential and creates powerful leaders of tomorrow. I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart for inspiring me like no one has done ever before in my life and that was just in one day. I sincerely owe a gratitude to him.

One of the major lessons which I learned from Mindtune workshop is the power of the subconscious mind. I was surprised to know that we are using only 10% of our mind capacity in our daily life. We call TM Badarudheen this as the conscious mind. However, 90 % of the mind capacity is unutilized. This is called the subconscious mind and is the most powerful. What happens if we start to use this powerful part of brain? I learned how it can change our thoughts, words, actions and ultimately the way we experience our life. I also learned how to make use of this powerful part of mind through affirmations and visualizations and how it can change our life.

Another interesting session was the meditation session. Here I learnt how meditation can take control of our mind and body, how it can control our entire body muscle and bring to a complete relaxation mode. It has truly helped me to improve my health condition.

In the gratitude session, I understood how to be happy and content in our life by being grateful to all the blessings that we have. The fear cutting session helped us to get out of the unwanted fear. We must go through the fear to eliminate it. To realize this, he made us walk through the broken glasses and he made us eat fire balls. I was really afraid to do that. But, once I did it, I realized that I am no more afraid to do it and it was the same for everyone who did it once. Finally in the forgiveness session, it cleared out all the negative energy from our body and mind and we became fully filled with positive energy. It was a wonderful experience. Ultimately, the training also helped me to realize the purpose of my life and my passion towards achieving it, and how all of these are connected to each other.

As it says on holy book that , to know yourself is to know your God and when I know more of myself , I feel more of my God. So, if you want to explore yourself, if you want to unlock your hidden potential, if you can dedicate one day from your life for your own benefit, if you can live one day without your mobile, I suggest you attend Mindtune workshop and get benefitted. Your thoughts affect your words and actions and your actions determine your destiny. So if you want to take lead of your destiny, you can attend mind tune workshop…as our destiny is the path that we chose.

Human life is filled with many talents, skills and abilities. But unfortunately many of us don’t understand it. We don’t take our skills seriously and this indirectly kills our abilities. A music instrument can produce many sounds, but a tuned sound make a difference. Tuned sound can only match with other instruments and rhythms perfectly. This kind of music will be pleased to listen and it will make others happy. Same way our life also should be tuned to please others and useful for our society. A person can’t be turned himself. Because we may not be able to identify our own mistakes. Mind tune toastmaster has given us a great opportunity in Qatar to tune ourselves with the help of others.

Toastmaster is a common platform where we can bring out our hidden talents and skills to stand boldly in front of an audience. This will help ourselves to grow in many areas which we can’t imagine. Let the dream come true through mind tune toastmaster.

Nourishing Toastmasters Enlightenment to the world of wisdom, visualisation, sub conscious levels…The importance of goal setting and daring to face fear and much more…Mind tunes workshop is beyond explanation and its vibration has linked all the waves beneath the unmeasurable boundaries of ocean.

Everyone in the world is with different talents and abilities. The way how you are utilizing will decide your position in the society. Difference is there in the utilization. As quoted by Napoleon Hill everyone should have the desire to develop their abilities with the available resources. If we are using our full potential we can do miracles. Most of the time we are with a complaint that “I don’t have time”. Actually, it is the first step of the failure. We have to find out time to train ourselves and to get corrected.

Steps to achieve the goals

There is no shortcut to success continuous and constant practice is the method to achieve the goals. Before starting a mission or assignment we must plan it properly.

Systematic planning and implementation will help us to achieve the goals.
