PROTOTYPING Nowadays we use our standards in 3D Product Design and development, this as many other specialized colleagues in high-tech manufacturing. These digital 3D designs visualize new possibilities and strengths in our end products.

Every day within LOMA® we level up and set our goals higher to challenge ourselves. Here we hold on to the good old days in research and development, that is upmost important to us. Next to several standard digital 3D-Processes, sets of 1:1 sized prototypes are produced. Non-destructive, as acoustic and laser testing goes before our destructive tests where we fully appreciate our engineers and the importance of this engineering department. What happens behind the scenes? Between our spotless white walls, we motivate and develop our engineers for ongoing endless configurations and shapes with results in their profession with passion in solutions finding that most common engineers never dreamed about.

MANAGEMENT PRODUCTION AND DESIGN

Since the very beginning in 2008, LOMA® is very proud to be one of the few companies in the world that manufacture Forged Wheels entirely in-house. From Stuttgart, Germany relocating to the south of Spain and Italy. Opening in Taiwan and the United States whereas the United Kingdom quickly followed, we finalised in our headquarter and design department in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Sins the belief in large office buildings vanished in our minds from the start after the 2007 economic recession, it is logical to stay flexible and focus on the real needs of our company and where we stand for, high quality forged, and technically beautifully designed wheels while we have pleasure in each challenge.

In the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at LOMA,® we feature a broad range of up to date machinery with over 286 milling machines, 3 and 5 axes vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines, SLM - Selective Laser Melting machines, CFRP injection moulding machines, digital controlled horizontal autoclaves for composite automotive products and curing (12 vacuum Lines, inside size 2.5M X 8 M), automated spray painting robotic line, 220 M/CAL Automatic conveyor powder coating oven.

MOTORSPORTS While other colleagues and manufacturers only talk highly about their wishes, LOMA® will surprise you in her involvement in motorsport since the beginning in 2008.

Challenging? Yes indeed, yes for sure, it gave our development and production a very hard time during those intense efforts.

Where the phrases “difficult, impossible and solved” became the standard. We joined as a beginner in full operating race teams that expect only the best. This gave us several possibilities to learn and to grow exponentially. We learned many specialities that we were very fortunate to learn during this difficult and long intense path.

All these experiences are now paved out and visible to the eye, tactile and usable in our LOMA® Forged Wheels that are made for winners who started the challenge.

SUPERLIGHT SUPERLIGHT isn't just a word at LOMA.® As one of the only manufacturers in the world, we are using European T6065 (tempered AlMg1Bi1Si) forged aluminium which is around Plus 30% Stiffer and Stronger with Desired Flexible Characters and therefore Extremely Lightweight.

Our patented designed “Rings” around the barrel allow us, to reduce even more weight while carrying more radial axle load on any vehicle.

RACING HERRITAGE SINCE 2008

Rim width and tire width are two closely related sizes Flexible tire sidewalls allow a single tire size to be mounted on a rim of various widths. There is a rim width range for every tire size, but on the other side, there is a tire width range for every single rim size.

What tire widths fit to your wheel/rim? (e.g.255/35 R19) When replacing OEM tire with a wider aftermarket tire, width of the rim should be taken into account because each rim width corresponds to only a few tire widths.

For example, appropriate tire widths for 9.0" rim are: 235 mm, 245 mm, 255 mm and 265 mm.

The minimum tire width 235 mm designates the safe tire width, 245 mm and 255 mm are ideal tire widths and 265 mm is the maximum tire width. The maximum tire width is not ideal because the tire tread is wider than the inside rim bead. Equivalency table presented below may help you to make a rational decision about tire dimension you need for a given wheel/rim dimension.

WE DARE TO DESIGN THE FUTURE There’s no straight line, strength in design, handling corners, braking, temperature changes.

To develop new designs, we set a larger investment curve to compensate in risks management. Waste material, our destructive tests and mishaps are recycled to handle larger research and development investments.

A wonderful idea fits never on everyone, specific market segments ask for different designs, colours while all rims need to be capable of handling extreme forces in corners and while braking, at the end they still look beautiful. When we one of the best in our line-up of designs, BLACKFORCE ONE was created and introduced in 2009 on a C6 Bi-Turbo Corvette including our LOMA® tunings expertise with a groundbreaking 798 HP at the wheels was in 2009 years ahead of its time.

We introduced on several international exhibitions a widebody racing panel with “Screwed Fenders” to the automotive tunning world where even the famous English car program “Top Gear” stated the following, “this is the best tuned Corvette ever”.

Within a quick 4 years, we realised to have set a standard built for every tuning company all over the world.
