Yes, you should. Being PMP certified is a good qualification, but knowing Six Sigma gives you an edge over other PMPs. However, to grab this edge, you should not rush through it and should learn all the concepts. Many people do not go for Six Sigma training thinking that Six Sigma is not PMP compliant. That is not right because PMI requires you to have basic knowledge of almost everything. So, Six Sigma training is absolutely PMP compliant. But PMP is a prerequisite for the Six Sigma Green Belt. But there is no prerequisite for the Six Sigma Black Belt. So it is possible to sit for Black Belt if you haven't cleared PMP. But you need to clear it within a year of passing the Black Belt exam.
