Gabriel Armstrong

Gabriel (he/him) is an actor, opera singer, and playwright from Ogden, Utah. He is a 2024 graduate from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he studied voice and musical theatre, and he is a 2024/25 Milwaukee Rep Emerging Professional Resident Actor. He was last seen in Milwaukee Rep’s 2024 production of A Christmas Carol as Dick Wilkins and the Ghost of Christmas Future. Other regional credits include productions with the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, Constellation Stage and Screen, Cedar Rapids Opera, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, and the Bread and Puppet Theater.

Piper Jean Bailey Juliet

Piper is thrilled to not only be making her Milwaukee Rep debut, but her professional debut post-graduation from Northwestern University, where she studied theatre and performed in Fefu and Her Friends (Fefu), Be Mean to Me (Jean), and more. Favorite professional credits include It Girl (Playwrights Unit Reading, Goodman Theatre) and A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (Stage Left Theatre). Along with acting and being a cat mom, Piper is a fiber artist who shares her handmade work on Instagram at @pj.crochet and @pjsorbet. Endless gratitude to her family and friends for their unwavering love and support.

Nate Burger returns to Milwaukee Rep where he previously appeared as Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. His work has been seen onstage in Chicago at Court Theatre, Writers Theatre,

Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Northlight Theatre, TimeLine Theatre, Goodman Theatre, New Leaf Theatre; and elsewhere at Forward Theater, Two Crows Theater, and Asolo Repertory. He is a core company member at American Players Theatre in Spring Green, WI, where he has worked for 13 seasons. TV: Emperor of Ocean Park, Shining Girls, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med. Matt is overjoyed to return to Milwaukee Rep after playing Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, as well as appearances in Run Bambi Run, Titanic the Musical, Junk, Guys and Dolls, and Man of La Mancha. Based in Milwaukee, his work has also been seen at First Stage Children’s Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Forward Theater Company, Door Shakespeare, Renaissance Theaterworks, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, In Tandem Theatre, Milwaukee Shakespeare, and several Shakespeare festivals across the country. Milwaukee Rep Debut. She is a member of the core acting company at American Players Theatre, where she has appeared for 12 seasons. Directing credits include: Summer, 1976 at Forward Theater, Cinderella at Marriott Lincolnshire, Once Upon a Bridge at APT, and The How and the Why for Two Crows Theatre. TV: Chicago PD. Davis is a current Milwaukee Rep EPR and is delighted to be a part of this story! Prior to Milwaukee, he received a BA in Performance at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). Jenn Rose Choreographer

Jenn is an award-winning choreographer working in theater, concert dance and film. She has choreographed over 20 regional theatre productions including You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park), Cabaret (Arden Theatre), Run Bambi Run, Titanic the Musical and Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Milwaukee Repertory Theater). SDCF commission to honor Agnes de Mille at the 2019 Mr. Abbott Award Gala. Michelle is a Chicago-based set designer whose work includes stage design, immersive experiences, and game design. Dr. Eggers earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her areas of expertise include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, accidental bowel leakage, pelvic and bladder pain, fistulas, and periurethral masses. Dr. Eggers strives to provide patient-centered care with a focus on improvement in quality of life for her patients.

Christopher [he /they] is a prominent member of several national theater organizations (Certified Teacher, Society of American Fight Directors; Intimacy Director in training, Intimacy Directors and Coordinators, et al). Christopher has performed, directed, and designed violence, movement, and intimacy for theaters nationwide, including Ogunquit Playhouse, Door Shakespeare, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival (now The REV), Next Act Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, Skylight Music Theatre and Milwaukee Rep.

JC Clementz, CSA Casting Director

JC is the Casting Director at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theater and a freelance stage director. He has cast productions out of Chicago and New York for the past decade including the Broadway productions of Linda Vista, The Minutes, and Pass Over. Prior to Steppenwolf, he spent four seasons as Casting Director at Milwaukee Rep where he also directed seven productions including Forever Plaid, Murder For Two, and The Nerd. JC is a proud member of SDC and the Casting Society.

Kimberly Carolus Stage Manager

Kimberly is delighted to be in her twelfth season with Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Some favorites include What the Constitution Means to Me, As You Like It, West Side Story, The Chinese Lady, Our Town, Grounded, and eleven seasons of A Christmas Carol at Milwaukee Rep. Mark is an awardwinning international theater director whose work has appeared in over 100 major theaters throughout Europe and the United States. He began his tenure as Artistic Director with the 2010/11 Season by bringing musicals to the mainstage, starting a tradition that is now the highlight of every season. Mark has directed over 30 productions at Milwaukee Rep including World and American Premieres, his own adaptation of the current A Christmas Carol and all but two mainstage musicals including Run Bambi Run, Titanic the Musical, West Side Story and Dreamgirls. Prior to joining Milwaukee Rep, Mark served as an Associate Artistic Director for several UK theater companies, most notably, Artistic Director for the award-winning Derby Playhouse in the UK where he directed over 40 productions. He has been nominated for an Olivier Award and several UK Theatre Awards, and has won three Barrymore Awards in Philadelphia. He created and directed the West End and UK National Tour of Soul Train. Mark is currently working with Ayad Akhtar on adapting his critically acclaimed novel American Dervish for the stage to make its World Premiere in an upcoming season.

Chad joined Milwaukee Rep in 2013. Since, the theater has produced more than 130 productions, raised nearly $100 million through 3 capital campaigns, launched a new A Christmas Carol and the Jack Lewis New Play Development Program, began construction on the Associated Bank Theater Center and quadrupled net assets operating without a deficit for 11 years. Bauman has been named Top 40 under 40 by the Milwaukee Business Journal, a Champion of the Hispanic Community by the United Community Center, and a notable LGBTQ Executive and NonProfit CEO of the Year by Milwaukee BizTimes. He is a doctoral student in Organizational Leadership at UNC Chapel Hill and a graduate of Brown University’s Leadership Coaching Program, Harvard Business School’s Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management Program, and CalArt’s MFA Producing Program.
