James has been fortunate to work with many Wisconsin theaters, to name a few: Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, First Stage, Skylight Music Theatre, Northern Sky Theater and Next Act Theatre. As a long time member of the local theatre community, he’s had the pleasure to work with American Players Theatre, Madison Rep, Door Shakespeare, Next Act, First Stage, In Tandem Theatre, Optimist Theatre, and of course, Milwaukee Rep. Favorite Milwaukee Rep productions include: Much Ado About Nothing, Holmes & Watson, Endgame, True West, Seascape, The Cherry Orchard, King Lear, and A Christmas Carol. Nationally, Mark has also worked with Berkeley Rep, the Utah & Illinois Shakespeare Festivals, Arena Stage, Berkshire Theatre Group, Resident Ensemble Players, and SITI Company.

Matt is a frequent collaborator at the Rep, having played Ebenezer Scrooge since 2022, and appearing in Romeo & Juliet, Run Bambi Run, Titanic, Junk, Guys & Dolls, Man of La Mancha, and serving on the Board’s Artistic Committee. Other recent credits include Salieri in Amadeus at Skylight Music Theatre, and Danny in the world premiere of Lauren Gunderson’s Lady Disdain at Forward Theater. Based in Milwaukee, his work has also been seen at First Stage, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theatreworks, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, In Tandem, and several Shakespeare festivals around the country. Todd is excited to return to Milwaukee Rep, after appearing as the Ghost of Christmas Present in A Christmas Carol earlier this season. In the interim, he was last seen as Captain Hook/Mr. Darling in Peter Pan & Wendy at First Stage. Todd is a Milwaukee theatre artist, working as an actor, director, teacher and fight choreographer. Locally, he's been blessed with opportunities to work with Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Next Act, Renaissance Theaterworks, Milwaukee Shakespeare, Skylight Music Theatre, In Tandem Theatre, Optimist Theatre and Door Shakespeare. Regional credits include the Utah, Alabama, Illinois and Georgia Shakespeare Festivals, Tennessee Rep, PCPA Theaterfest, Willamette Rep and Artpark & Co. Born in Torquay, England in 1890, Agatha Christie is the best-selling novelist of all time. With over one billion books sold in English and another billion in over 100 languages, she is outsold only by the Bible and Shakespeare. She wrote 80 crime novels and collections of short stories, over 25 plays (including The Mousetrap, the world’s longest running play), and six novels under the pseudonym Mary Westmacott. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, introduced the world to the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, followed a decade later by the shrewd and often-underestimated Miss Marple.

Alex has designed costumes for Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, First Stage and Harley Davidson’s 100th Anniversary Tour. Alex is most proud of being part of the team that helped create “Stitching History from the Holocaust,” an exhibit produced by the Jewish Museum Milwaukee. Noele’s lighting has appeared onstage at The Brooklyn Academy of Music, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Library of Congress Theater, as well as the opera companies of Santa Fe, Ontario, Houston, Portland, Vancouver, New Orleans, Nashville and Madison. Regional design for the theatre includes Jeff Daniels Purple Rose Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Houston’s Alley Theatre, Wisconsin’s American Players Theatre, Next Act Theatre and Forward Theater. Jill is delighted to return to work at Milwaukee Repertory Theater after having coached more than 30 productions here. She has served as the Resident Voice, Text and Dialects Coach at The Guthrie and American Conservatory Theater. Regionally she has worked at the Marriott Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Steppenwolf Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Arizona Theatre Company, Drury Lane, and Lyric Opera of Chicago. An actor for over 20 years, she has appeared in over 80 productions. Jill earned her master’s degrees in Voice and Dialects from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London) and Northwestern University.

Jonathan is a producer, director, and teaching artist based out of Milwaukee. He currently serves as the Artistic Producer overseeing all casting and special events at Milwaukee Rep. A Christmas Carol. Prior to joining Milwaukee Rep, Mark served as an Associate Artistic Director for several UK theater companies, most notably, Artistic Director for the awardwinning Derby Playhouse in the UK where he directed over 40 productions. He has been nominated for an Olivier Award and several UK Theatre Awards, and has won three Barrymore Awards in Philadelphia. He created and directed the West End and UK National Tour of Soul Train. Mark is currently working with Ayad Akhtar on adapting his critically acclaimed novel American Dervish for the stage to make its World Premiere in an upcoming season.

Since 2013, Chad Bauman has led Milwaukee Rep through a period of extraordinary growth, transforming it into one of the nation’s most prolific regional theaters with over 700 performances annually. Under his leadership, the Rep eliminated debt, doubled its endowment, grew net assets from $16 million to over $100 million and opened the state-of-the-art Associated Bank Theater Center. Previously he served as Associate Executive Director of Arena Stage opening the Mead Center for American Theater in 2010. A passionate advocate for the arts, he serves on several local boards, holds an MFA in Producing from CalArts and is pursuing a doctorate in organizational leadership from North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Students enter the immersion program in K4/K5 or Grade 1, and all instruction is in French. English reading and writing begins in Grade 2. Most other subjects are taught in French through Grade 5. Students become fluent in French with many continuing language immersion at Milwaukee School of Languages (Gr. 6–12).
