Along with a long list of awards, Redken flew me to New York to meet with the education team and VP of L’Oreal International. I was honored. Where do you find inspiration?

What makes Salon Nova unique?

Tell us about your lash extensions.

We use LiquiFan Eyelash Extensions, which is our own patented brand and technique for eyelash extensions. With LiquiFan Eyelash Extensions, the adhesive is instantly cured, thus creating a stronger bond and eliminating the 24-hour wait time to get your lashes wet after the service.

How does the Ouidad haircut for curly hair differ from a traditional haircut?

Our Ouidad-trained stylists have been certified at the Ouidad salon in New York City. They use Ouidad’s carveand-slice technique, resulting in a flattering shape that cannot be attained by a traditional haircut. The stylists also explain styling to ensure the guest can continue achieving the look themself.

What is your favorite hair trend at the moment?

We are having a lot of fun experimenting with cooltoned brunettes and subtle reds. Subtle dimension with “babylights” and “sombre” have been fun, different looks, too.
