Family Sundays: Discovering Scandinavia

Sun, July 9, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Come to the Museum with family and friends to experience traditional art, music, and stories of the Nordic countries. Meet artists from the Milwaukee region and beyond as they demonstrate weaving, rosemaling, and other crafts. Enjoy music by Norwegian-Swedish folk duo Lynx Lynx, and take part in art-making activities—paint a Dala horse, play with patterns—inspired by the furniture, textiles, and other objects featured in the exhibition “Scandinavian Design and the United States, 1890–1980.”
