Our unique venue, nestled in a picturesque, wooded valley, is home to a stunning Mansion House and magnificent Abbey church (founded by King Athelstan in 934AD). Surrounded by expansive grounds landscaped by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, it offers the perfect venue for your entire day of celebrations.
Ceremony
Whether you envisage a traditional Church Wedding in our historic Abbey, or a Civil Ceremony in the grandeur of our Mansion House or amidst our picturesque grounds, we offer the perfect setting for your special day.
Reception
After your ceremony, enjoy a celebratory glass of fizz in our picturesque grounds, before moving into the Abbots Hall to enjoy your wedding breakfast. For more intimate weddings, we have a variety of other spaces available.

For the evening, our Kings’ Room can be transformed into a dancefloor to accompany your DJ or live music, with direct access onto our lawns.
The Princes’ Room features a bar area, while our Library provides a versatile space perfect for quieter moments or additional entertainment.
