SDC hosts Women in Trades Lunch and Learn On Thursday, September 26, 2019, the Social Development Commission (SDC) hosted a Lunch and Learn for Women in Trades, at their facility on 1730 W. North Ave. This women-only session was focused on women looking to start or to further their careers in the construction industry, and for more information on training opportunities. Presenters at the event included SDC Workforce Development and Training Job Developer Courtney Kelly and guest speaker JCP Construction Project Manager Tracy Carson.

Lisa Kaye Catering launches new kitchen with 'Milwaukee Kids Bake-off' event On Saturday, September 28, 2019, Lisa Kaye Catering, LLC's Culinary Education Program presented "Milwaukee Kids BakeOff: THE FINAL 5," at their new kitchen located in Potawatomi Business Development Corporation, 944 N. 33rd Street. This was the grand finale for the young participants. The Culinary Education Program and event is the creation of Lisa Kaye Catering, LLC's President and former Black Excellence Urban Entrepreneur winner Chef Lisa McKay. Lincoln High School celebrates '2019 All Class Reunion'

On Saturday, September 28, 2019, The Lincoln High School Alumni Association celebrated with their 2019 All Class Reunion, at the Hampton Inn and Suites Milwaukee West in West Allis. The theme for the event was "Reunited and It Feels So Good." Lincoln closed its doors as a high school in 1979. This year marks the 40th year reunion for the class of 1979 and a special celebration was held in their honor which included all of the LinAn NCON Communications Publication

coln High School's graduating classes. As part of the prestigious event two teachers/coaches were honored for their contributions to Lincoln's great history. Coach Jim Smalling and Coach Dick Wadewitz provided lifelong learning to all the classmates they touched.
