the working waterfront and historic Portsmouth cityscape our design team completely transformed this home to better reflect its coastal New England location and embody a more classic aesthetic that better suited our client’s taste.

who moved from San Francisco intends to frequently entertain out of town guests and wanted to host them in a sophisticated, luxe and comfortable environment.
Our designers introduced a soft color palette of blues and greens throughout the home and selectively added wallpaper and a variety of customized art styles to bring layers of texture and visual interest to the home.

ECLECTIC
Afterliving
in their home for a year, the owners of this new construction and open concept home came to us craving a more personalized, cozy and coastal aesthetic. Inspiration & color palette came from this New Castle home’s salt marsh surroundings plus the couple’s bold art color palette.
The dining area of this modern farmhouse build was a particular challenge to the couple and they wanted it to feel more incorporated into the overall open concept environment
To enhance and ground the dining area we converted an underused closet into an open shelved and closed-storage nook.
FARMHOUSE
Apastclient
turned to us for guidance during their kitchen remodel to infuse better flow to their open concept design. The wallpaper we selected along with the oversized lantern grounded the space and added the layers needed to make it feel larger right away.
Our goal was to mix the “old with the new”, creating an eclectic yet farmhouse feel. The beloved “The Rosemary” sign coupled with updated architectural elements of the shiplap ceiling and a barn wood beam was the jumping off point for this design.
We transformed the traditional dining room into a dining nook banquet with a round table in custom finishes A slipcovered sectional sofa and upholstered counter stools provide additional comfort casual entertaining and every day living.
MODERN

features a dominant use of neutral colors like creams and grays paired with stunning wood tones. This creates a sense of openness and airiness, a strong characteristic of modern design.
The sharp contract between the backsplash and countertops with the light and bright furniture, works seamlessly to create a unique space for our client.
MODERN

was to create a seamless flow where indoor-outdoor living is encouraged. Sliding doors were kept bare to emphasize this connection to nature/outdoors while expanding the footprint of the overall living space.
As is customary in modern design furniture with clean lines was chosen and kept to a mostly neutral palette with bold art becoming the focal point of the room.
CONTEMPORARY

were looking to downsize, but didn’t want to sacrifice their lifestyle They purchased a condo in downtown Portsmouth NH and asked us to help make it their own. Furnishings needed to blend with the contemporary aesthetic of finishes and pieces that already existed including high gloss surfaces, clean lines and metal finishes. A sleek low profile curved sectional sofa paired with a companion curved bookcase added fluidity and flow to the living space as well as much desired display space.
The couple also wanted to make an impression on their guests when they first entered their home and opted for a more formal foyer that showcases the hand chair that is much of a functional piece as it is an artistic sculpture.

and historic home has an eclectic collection of antiques, coastal accents, abstract artwork, stunning patterned and textured wallpaper and cozy elements such as area rugs, plush pillows and florals.
The client truly appreciates character and wants to enhance those areas of the home with a blend fresh and artistic accents fits the mold of this fun design.
