Chicago Nights is a unique show with an intoxicating variety of dance styles, techniques, passions and emotions. A collection of works by some of the most cutting-edge choreographers of the day, from ballet to contemporary, jazz to tap, ballroom to hip-hop, this amazing group of dancers will display not only their technical expertise and amazing versatility, but they will share these amazing stories of the 1920’s Chicago through the tapestry of dance styles that Odyssey is known for.

DAVID OSMOND David Osmond has show business in his genes. As part of the worldfamous OSMOND FAMILY. David’s music career has featured tours to sold-out arenas in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, signing with both Curb Records and Epic/Sony, and included several songs in the top 40 on the charts. He has recorded several solo albums and has been featured in countless other musical recording projects. As a BROADWAY theatrical artist, he notably took over for famous uncle Donny Osmond starring in the lead role as JOSEPH in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, for many years. David has also performed nationwide and internationally alongside his aunt

HEATHER JACKMAN Heather Jackman is from South Jordan and is thrilled to make her debut as this year’s Female Vocalist with the Dance Odyssey Theatre!

She has performed professionally throughout Utah, with credits including shows at Hale Center Theater, Desert Star Playhouse, and numerous high-profile events across the state.

Heather is widely known for performing the National Anthem at major sporting venues, including appearances for the Utah Jazz, Real Salt Lake, Salt Lake Bees, USA Women’s Cup Final, Utah Blaze, San Diego Padres, Miami Marlins, and many other local organizations.

GUEST ARTIST Heather is a featured artist on FM100.3’s “Sounds of the Sabbath”, where her music is regularly featured on Sunday’s. Her country songs have also aired on K-Bull 93.3 FM. She works full time as a Marketing Consultant and love that she can help companies’ growth!

She has directed, choreographed and produced Cirque-style shows in Salt Lake City and all over the world for the past 15 years. She was creative director for an International show in Tokyo, Japan starring Lauren Allred from The Greatest Showman. She has directed shows for USANA, NUSKIN,

DARBY JONES Darby Jones was born and raised in Utah, starting her dance career at Center Stage Performing Arts Studio. She furthered her education, on scholarship, at Idyllwild Arts Academy. Darby joined Odyssey Dance Theatre in 2014. While on the company she danced many principal roles including: Solimbula, Helena (Midsummer Nights Dream), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Roxie Hart (Chicago Nights), and Violet(It’s a Wonderful Life). She is the dance captain for the company, and enjoys helping the dancers find success on the stage. Darby was awarded Best Of State Individual Dancer in 2021 for her work with Odyssey, and influence in the Utah dance community. Darby is excited for the opportunity to be back on stage with the company in their Christmas Spectacular!
