GREEN TEAM CAMPS

COMMITMENT TO SAFTY Your campers safety is our number one priority.

COVID-19 VACCINATIONS We take COVID very seriously here and comply with all of the State of Connecticut requirements. Currently, campers are not required to have the COVID-19 vaccine. Staff are required to be fully vaccinated or submit weekly negative COVID tests prior to the workweek.

MASK WEARING The State of Connecticut Youth Camps Division requires all campers to wear masks while indoors and being transported off-site. Masks may be removed while eating, drinking, and when outdoors. We require staff to wear a mask when indoors or being transported regardless of vaccination status.

PUBLIC PARK Teachers accompany camper's everywhere they go throughout the day. Additionally, our park ambassadors provide safety in the park.

STAFF All Green Team staff are First aid and CPR certified. Each Green Team session is lead by two teachers and two teacher's aids.

These camps may include 1-3 mile hikes in a day, 30-45 minutes of running activities per day, climbing, or swimming.

Weather Green Team Camps are designed for outdoor science and adventure rain or shine. We believe that varying weather provides opportunities to learn and experience new things. Campers should always be emotionally prepared to be outdoors. We will provide ponchos if your camper does not have rain gear. Your camper's safety is of utmost importance, so we will limit outdoor activity if we deem conditions unsafe.

TRANSFERS To transfer your camper to a new session, first register for the new session. Then, email Kristia@millriverpark.org to cancel your original session. There will be no fee for transferring camp sessions, and your original Green Team Camp session will be refunded in full (including the non-refundable deposit) after the new session is booked.
