DANISH DESIGN PRODUCED IN SWEDEN

MiLLE W NORDISK DESIGN was founded in 2011 by Danish-born Camilla Wallin, who is the company's designer and owner. Throughout her working life, she has worked with fashion and lifestyle, which has given her a solid experience in color and design. It is the Scandinavian mix of forms and materials that has given her the passion to create sustainable products of high quality. Our sustainable approach enables us to limit our environmental impact, without compromising on quality. The products are designed and manufactured in our own premises in Kullavik just south of Gothenburg, Sweden. We have our producOon and oďŹƒce under the same roof, which means that we can quickly go from idea to prototype.

RECYCLED LEATHER

MiLLE W NORDISK DESIGN is a brand in Swedish-made sustainable interiors and home furnishings. The consistent line of our products is our recycled leather that is GRS®-cerOfied (Global Recycled Standard). It is made from leather remains from the fashion and furniture industry. The leather remnants are mixed with natural rubber made from the rubber tree. The recycled leather has the highest quality consisOng of 80% leather and 20% natural rubber. The quality is very durable, water-repellent and easy to clean. In addiOon to recycled leather, we only use cerOfied material choices in our products. The texOle products are OEKO-TEX cerOfied and the wooden products are made of FSC-cerOfied wood, the glass in the candle lanterns consists of recycled glass.

PRODUCED IN SWEDEN

We have full control over our producOon process and can therefore ensure high quality, while we limit our environmental impact as we have our producOon in Sweden. All of our products are assembled, carefully checked and packaged by hand. Our local producOon and use of natural and sustainable materials are our highly important core values.

Plate Coaster Our plate coaster are a durable interior detail made of recycled leather that is GRS® cerOfied. With recycled leather you get the feeling and scent of leather, mixed with natural rubber makes them water-repellent, heat-resistant, and with high wear resistance. They are very easy to clean with detergent and a soZ cloth. The plate coasters have new innovaOve shapes that have been developed to create a beauOful table se[ng. The coasters are also available in several different colors, which provides many different opOons for your table se[ng. They are designed and produced in our own premises in Sweden.

Coaster Our beverage coasters are a durable interior detail made from recycled leather that is GRS®-cerOfied. They are very easy to clean with detergent and a soZ cloth, our beverage coasters have innovaOve shapes that has been developed to create a beauOful table se[ng. Pot Coaster Our potcoasters are a durable interior detail made of recycled leather that is GRS® cerOfied. With recycled leather you get the feeling and smell of leather, mixed natural rubber, makes them water-repellent with high durability. The pot coaster withstands a heat of 120 °C, and protects the base from hot pots and pans. They are very easy to clean with detergent and a soZ cloth, while also becoming a beauOful interior detail in the kitchen.

Trays MiLLE W NORDISK DESIGN has designed an elegant series of handmade Trays. They are made of solid FSC®-cerOfied acacia wood which guarantees that the trees are sustainably harvested and that all wooden products comply with the EU Omber regulaOon for legally harvested wood.

Acacia wood is a hard and durable wood which gives the tray a long life. Each tray is unique, through meOculous craZsmanship. The bo_om of the tray is upholstered in recycled leather and has the MiLLE W logo emblem in leather strap as a beauOful detail.

Lanterns-Vases MiLLE W NORDISK DESIGN Candle Lanterns - Vases are made of recycled glass and are part of an elegant series of mouth-blown and hand-painted vases / candle lanterns. The surface is slightly transparent to reflect the beauOfully sparkling reflecOons of the glow from the candle or when sunlight passes through the flower stalks in the vase.

Through careful craZsmanship, each vase / candle lantern becomes unique. The color and thickness of the glass can vary slightly as they are handmade and consist of recycled glass. One detail that provides addiOonal uniqueness is the strap in recycled leather with the MiLLE W logo emblem.

BATHROOM COLLECTION

Soap MiLLE W NORDISK DESIGN has designed an exclusive liquid soap. The bo_le is a slightly transparent black in recyclable plasOc. They have our characterisOc strap in recycled leather with MiLLE W's emblem around the bo_le neck. The soap is locally produced and delivered in two different scents. It is emollient and gentle which means that it can be used several Omes a day without drying out your hands. Choose between a Gold, Silver or Black Nickel pearl.

Carded co_on gives the luxurious feeling of a very exclusive terry towel. The towels have a unique design that makes them a beauOful interior detail in the bathroom. Desk Mat MiLLE W’s Desk Mats is our own unique design of the tradiOonal table cover, made from recycled leather that is GRS® cerOfied.

The surface is excellent to use instead of a mouse pad. The coasters are not sensiOve to a hot cup of tea or coffee, they are easily cleaned with a wet cloth and a li_le detergent. They work just as well in your home office as in your workplace. With our own producOon and workshop, we can produce the shapes and sizes that fulďŹ l your wishes and needs. We are happy to tailor to your interior and your unique needs. We can, among other things, produce covers for your menu, table tablets, custom-made tablecloths for your tables, rugs, wallpapers, table numbering, leather wallpaper & Oles, headboards, etc. We can also engrave your unique logo if you wish. Regardless of your wishes, we will ďŹ nd a soluOon together.

MiLLE W CERTIFICATIONS

GRS - Global Recycled Standard GRS is intended to meet the needs of companies that want to verify that the content of their products consists of recycled material. GRS defines requirements to ensure correct content and good working condi=ons for a reduced environmental impact.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100® Oeko-tex is a test and certification system for textile products at all stages of production. The system checks that the products do not contain hazardous substances that are regulated within the EU's REACH candidate list of banned substances. Oeko-Tex is a human ecological label that has 4 classifications based on tests based on the textiles' areas of use. The more skin contact and more sensitive skin, the higher human ecological requirements must be met. Class 1 is tested according to the most stringent criteria.

RCS – Recycling Claim Standard

RCS is a label for traceability of recycled textile material. RCS makes no demands regarding environmental aspects of the production process (water and energy consumption), social aspects, safety-related issues and legislation. This label covers products that consist of 5– 100% recycled material.

FSC – Forest Stewardship Council

FSC is an interna=onal member organiza=on that works for the responsible use of the world's forests. Wood products that are FSC-cer=fied are sustainably harvested in regard to the environment and social condi=ons that protect endangered species and strengthen the rights of both workers and indigenous peoples.
