MOVES & MELODIES Moves & Melodies is an age friendly project for adults which involves song & dance workshops. It is open to all and is also dementia friendly. Thursday 21 July @ 2pm - 3.30pm This project will be provided complimentary and is held once a month in our Studio Theatre. The music facilitator is Fiona Logue and the dance facilitators are Emma Lindsay from Emma Lindsay Dance and Claire Harkin. There will be an opportunity to learn new dance skills and sing a range of song styles every month. Limited spaces available for July. Booking now open for Thursday 18 August. This show will have both an ISL and BSL interpretator situated at each side of the stage. When booking please advise a member of staff which side you would prefer to be seated to ensure the best viewing of our interpretator. Our Relaxed & Dementia Friendly Performance takes place on Saturday 10 December @2pm. Relaxed and dementia friendly performances are designed to create an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for young people who suffer from learning disabilities and people with dementia and their families at the theatre. COMING SOON We are excited to very soon be announcing information on our latest access adaptions to the building and some new access projects keep an eye out in next month's Newsletter Energy of Light Disco Our Energy of Light Disco will be taking the summer off for a well deserved rest. But don't panic they'll be back in September to rock the dance floor once again!! Get your dancing shoes ready for our return on Friday 30 September.
ENERGY TRAIN
DEMENTIA FRIENDLY TEA DANCE Our 1st course of Energy Train is now complete and a presentation ceremony took place on Wednesday 22 June where the participants were given their certificates and showed everyone what they had learned. Each of the participants will also have a slot at our monthly Energy of Light Disco. If you are interested in taking part in this course please contact Lisa Heaney at our Box Office.

Our next Dementia Friendly Tea Dance will take place in the Studio Theatre on Thursday 25 August @ 2pm - 3.30pm - SOLD OUT On Sale Soon - Thurs 15 September TEA DANCE ON TOUR We are delighted to be taking our Tea Dance out on tour to Derg Valley Care Centre on Thursday 28 July @2pm-3.30pm - a few tickets still available We are actively encouraging participation and hoping to improve brain health and remove isolation for members of our community. The events at the Forum sell out monthly and we hope we can reach out to people in the community who will benefit from this event. Tickets can be purchased through the Millennium Forum Box Office.
