WHY DOES THE FUTURE BELONG TO THOSE WHO HAVE CREATED A HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT? Just yesterday, advertising, social media and modern educational spaces were enough. Today, that is no longer enough. Amidst a full-scale war, a new value is emerging — the educational environment. Not as a backdrop or a space designed merely to impress, but as a way of thinking that determines the future. It is the ability to make an impact in ways that others cannot. It is the ability to perceive a new reality.

It is the ability to maintain the quality of education.

Quality education is, first and foremost, INTERIORISATION: the formation of internal thought structures under the influence of the external environment.

And, most importantly, to constantly develop. We live in an age of information overload. But information is NOT KNOWLEDGE. Knowledge arises under the influence of a high-quality environment. It is the environment itself that shapes this influence. The myth of the elitism of educational institutions is long outdated. Historic buildings, a glorious past, high rankings and the names of famous graduates are often merely outward signs of prestige, rather than of the quality of education.
Today, an algorithm can write a text. Artificial intelligence can create music. Generative models can create images. But there is one thing that cannot be generated — it is a high-quality educational environment. It cannot be replicated. It can only be created – step by step; year by year; turning a great dream into reality. That is precisely why, in this new reality, the educational environment determines the future of an educational institution and shapes a new generation of professionals. We are an institution that is part of the city, the region and the state. Our most important value is people. What matters most is not statistics, but social impact and the ability to respond to society’s needs. Statistics merely demonstrate capability. Even in difficult times, we must retain the ability to shape the future.

Світлани Володимирівни УСТИЧЕНКО — викладачки англійської мови, заслуженої працівниці освіти України;
Черкаський науковий фізико-математичний ліцей (ФІМЛІ) — 16 випускників;
Оксани Олексіївни МУСТАФИ — викладачки англійської мови, викладачки-методистки;
Черкаський державний фаховий бізнес-коледж — 8 здобувачів освіти;

MILLENIUM BUSINESS’вересень
Фахівці,яким довіряють Following the results of the main session of the National Multi-Subject Test, Cherkasy State Business College achieved a historic result. A total of eight second-year students achieved the maximum result — 200 points! The highest results were achieved by: Nadiia BIDA (gr. No. 1D-24, speciality “Design”) — ENGLISH; Serhii HUSCHA (gr. No. 1K-24, speciality “Computer Engineering”) — ENGLISH; Mykhailo ZAIIKA (gr. No. 2P-24, speciality “Software Engineering”) — ENGLISH; Vlas LAZEBNYI (gr. No. 1P-24, speciality “Software Engineering”) — ENGLISH; Artem MAIBORODA (gr. No. 2P-24, speciality “Software Engineering”) — ENGLISH; Polina SYTNYK (gr. No. 2P-24, speciality “Software Engineering”) — ENGLISH; Mariia SHYLO (gr. No. 2D-24, speciality “Design”) — ENGLISH;
Cherkasy Scientific Physics and Mathematics Lyceum (FML) — 16 graduates; Cherkasy State Business College — 8 students; Uman Lyceum No. 2 — 4 graduates;
Iryna SCHERBYNA (gr. No. 1M-24, speciality “Marketing”) — UKRAINIAN.
First Academic Lyceum of International Relations (First Municipal Gymnasium, Cherkasy) — 4 graduates.
This success was made possible by the hard work of our students, the support of their parents and the high level of professionalism shown by our teaching staff:
It is particularly pleasing that, in the subject “ENGLISH”, the Business College, like FML, has become one of the leading educational institutions in the Cherkasy region in terms of the number of students achieving the highest scores.
Svitlana USTYCHENKO — English teacher, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine; Oksana MUSTAFA — English teacher, teachermethodologist; Nataliia DRAZHAN — Ukrainian language teacher. The students’ achievements have become a source of pride for the Business College, the city of Cherkasy and the entire Cherkasy region. Only 43 participants in the city of Cherkasy and 75 in the region achieved the highest possible score on the NMT. Based on our analysis of the officially released results from the main NMT session, the top four educational institutions in the Cherkasy region, ranked by the number of participants who achieved the maximum score of 200 points, are as follows:
Cherkasy State Business College took first place among academies, colleges and vocational schools in Ukraine in terms of the number of students who scored 200 points on the National Multi-Subject Test, and was included in the list of the 25 best lyceums in Ukraine.
European universities or for a year at American colleges — and has provided a supportive learning environment: separate groups for students with a high level of English, twice the usual number of free lessons, and a strong teaching team. All teachers of general education subjects have over 20 years of teaching experience. The activities of the “Lingua Hub” Language Centre deserve special mention. During the 2025–2026 academic year, it organised more than 50 online events with the Business College’s international partners from the USA, Brazil, South Korea and European Union countries. All students who achieved top scores in English took part in these classes and meetings. The international dimension is gradually becoming an integral part of the educational experience at Cherkasy State Business College. Academic mobility, cooperation with foreign universities, and joint educational and communication projects give students the opportunity to go beyond the confines of the traditional classroom and envisage their own future within a broader global context.
These results are not solely down to test preparation. Cherkasy State Business College fosters an educational environment in which students have the opportunity to develop simultaneously in professional, linguistic and international spheres. Over its 60-year history, the College has served as a springboard for many generations towards their careers, further education and self-fulfilment.
These are precisely the components of success for every student who achieves a perfect score of 200.
The Business College has created an additional incentive — the opportunity to study for a semester at
That is precisely why our students achieve some of the best results in Ukraine.
INTERNALISATION WORKS. We have once again demonstrated that a high-quality education and the Business College’s many years of experience yield results of the highest standard.
All students who scored 200 points in the National MultiSubject Test (NMT) have been offered the opportunity to undertake a semester of study during the first year of their bachelor’s degree in a European Union country. The programme will take place as part of international academic mobility schemes at one of the Business College’s partner universities — in Austria, Germany, Belgium, Finland or Latvia — at the student’s choice. THANK YOU TO THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE FOR GIVING US THE OPPORTUNITY TO TEACH AND LEARN! I wish the winning students new achievements, professional growth and the fulfilment of their dearest dreams! Let’s keep working and learning!

WHEN TALK ALONE IS NO LONGER ENOUGH, OR HOW FAMILY THERAPY WORKS
L
esia Rybakova is a family psychotherapist who helps couples and families better hear each other and find a way to understanding. Within the framework of the project «Experts that are trusted», Lesia talks about her work and the features of family therapy.
I often come across situations where conversations alone are no longer enough. You have already discussed everything, explained what hurts, what is missing, what you are asking for. You have already agreed, and in a few days you will quarrel again. You can start from the middle – everyone knows the introduction. But you still try, because this time you really want to be heard. One insists: «Just talk to me.» The other remains silent, already waiting for complaints. The first gets angry and pushes; the second withdraws even further. They may well love each other, yet their attempts to reach one another and defend themselves repeatedly end in the very dynamic that has exhausted them both. Systemic family therapy addresses these recurring patterns. I observe how one person’s action triggers a response from the other, which in turn shapes the next step. Each partner reacts to the other while simultaneously influencing what happens next, yet each remains responsible for their own actions. It is important for me as a family therapist to understand what you are trying to say versus what actually gets through to the other person. Sometimes, the issue isn’t hearing itself. A person might ask to share the housework; they are understood and met with empathy, yet the household still falls on them. That is when we discuss the division of responsibilities, the right to influence decisions, and each person’s needs. Otherwise, you could spend years refining your requests while continuing to wash the dishes all by yourself. Your lifestyle matters, too. A baby is born, a job changes, or you move to a new place. The workload increases and support decreases, yet the agreements meet the date back to a time when you could sleep in until noon. The family is living under different circumstances now, and that needs to be taken into account. During a session, we can analyse a typical quarrel: what you intended to say, what was actually heard, where the hurt arose, and how you reacted. At home, these things escalate quickly: you might start by talking about dinner and five minutes later find yourself questioning why you got married at all. It is
important for us to identify exactly how you got to that point. Next, we explore alternative approaches: how to express desires, voice disagreement, or rethink the division of household responsibilities. We identify specific steps that can change the situation. During sessions, we practice interacting differently, and back home, we see what can be successfully integrated into daily life. If something doesn’t work, we clear up the obstacles and what needs to be adjusted. You can reach out to me if you are facing recurring quarrels, a lack of intimacy, or an inability to agree on parenting matters. Sessions can be attended as a couple, as parents (without the child), or individually; we decide together who should be involved. Changes become evident in everyday life: reaching agreements becomes easier, support increases, and less energy is spent on conflict. Sometimes, you also gain greater clarity regarding the kind of relationship you want for the future.

His professional journey began with a technical education completed with honours, followed by studies at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. He has served as a field agronomist and chief agronomist, and today holds the position of Director of Agricultural Production. His areas of responsibility include cultivation technologies and their implementation, technical support for production, process automation, precision farming, crop production strategy, and the development of a target technological model that accounts for global trends and climate change. A distinct focus area is building a professional and happy team. The key question Mr. Fedir asks himself in his work is simple: «Could this have been done better?» It is precisely this mindset that prevents him from resting on his achievements. NOT THE MAXIMUM YIELD. THE MOST EFFICIENT RESULT. High yield in itself does not equate to efficient production. What matters is the cost at which the result is achieved, its correspondence to the land’s potential, and the system’s ability to consistently replicate that success. Fedir sums up his operational philosophy in three words: SOIL. TIMING. QUALITY. Soil determines potential and limitations. Timing represents the moment when the right decision has the greatest value. Quality transforms the operational plan into actual results in the field.

СИЛЬНА КОМАНДА ПОВИННА БУТИ НЕ ТІЛЬКИ ПРОФЕСІЙНОЮ Формування професійної та щасливої команди Федір Костянтинович називає одним «We can have the best seeds, modern machinery, and the most robust technology. But if we don’t understand the soil, or if we miss the right moment or perform an operation poorly, the money invested in that technology won’t guarantee results.» Fedir Kurtyev considers one of key professional achievements to be the ability to secure high crop yields within the real natural and climatic potential of the land – working as effectively as possible within the environment’s conditions rather than fighting against nature. IT IS EASIER TO CHANGE TECHNOLOGY THAN TO CHANGE BELIEFS. On a large area under cultivation, the right decision must not only be made but also explained to the team; technical readiness must be ensured, the staff must be trained, and implementation must be controlled. «True transformation does not occur when a leader makes a decision. It happens when the team understands the logic behind it, believes in it, and is capable to effectively implement the new approach without constant micromanagement.» For Mr. Fedir, therefore, technological changes are primarily about working with people and the culture of decision-making. A STRONG TEAM MUST BE MORE THAN JUST PROFESSIONAL Mr. Fedir considers building a professional and happy team to be one of his key management
tasks. His approach is grounded in ambition, a drive to achieve more, openness, sincerity, empathy, and the ability to praise others for their results. For him, a strong team is an environment where people are not afraid to take initiative, assume responsibility, and grow professionally. THE NEXT SCALE IS LARGE-SCALE CORPORATE MANAGEMENT Mr. Fedir is convinced that the coming years will bring significant changes to crop farming. Climate change, water scarcity, resource costs, automation, precision agriculture, and data-driven approaches are already reshaping production management principles. He envisions the future in an adaptive system that accounts for the unique characteristics of each field and enables more precise resource utilisation. «We must shift from managing based on averages to managing the potential of each specific field.» Fedir Kurtiev clearly defines his next professional stage: large-scale corporate management – focusing on strategy, major transformations, large teams, and business systems. At the same time, his primary criterion for professional success remains rooted in the human element: «Ten years from now, I would like the people who have worked with me to be able to say three things about me: that I am decent, humane, and a professional in my field.»

IRYNA MASLOVSKA.
F
WHEN TRUST BECOMES THE FOUNDATION OF BUSINESS
or Iryna Maslovska, real estate is about much more than simply buying or selling square metres. It is about taking responsibility for a person’s important decision, the art of negotiation, and the opportunity to help open the door to a new chapter in their life. There are career paths built according to a single precise plan, and then there are paths where every experience eventually becomes part of a greater story. This was precisely the case for Iryna Maslovska, founder of the Golden Key real estate agency. Iryna has been involved in sales since childhood: fruits and vegetables, stationery, footwear, and clothing. Later, she went on to own coffee shops and a grocery store, worked in the fitness, restaurant, and beauty industries, and spent about eight years selling cosmetics for well-known brands. Today, she smiles when recalling her grandmother’s words: “You could even sell my socks!” In reality, that phrase speaks to something much deeper: a natural ability to understand people, find common ground, and negotiate effectively. Education proved to be a key pillar of support for Iryna. She graduated from Kyiv Oriental Languages Gymnasium No. 1, where she studied Turkish and English, and later received a firstclass honours degree from the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University. Her learning did not end with her degree: training courses, seminars, business programmes and psychology remain an integral part of her professional development. The name Golden Key originated from a fond childhood memory — her favourite cake, the “Golden Key”. Over time, however, the key has become a special symbol for Iryna. Trust, security and new opportunities — these are the very concepts that underpin her approach to work. Iryna is convinced that a professional real estate expert does more than just facilitate a transaction. They must identify risks, protect the client’s interests, and know when to say “no.” Even if a property is attractive, but has issues with the documentation, she prioritises the client’s peace of mind and her own reputation over earning a commission. Today, Golden Key ranks among Ukraine’s top 100 agencies, and in 2025 it received the prestigious TOP award. The team handles both residential and commercial real estate, helps Ukrainian families take advantage of the state-run “eOselya” program, and is expanding its international operations – from Spain and Turkey to Bali and the Maldives. Amidst the scale of the business, international partnerships, and continuous learning, the most important element remains the person. Iryna knows how to balance family, her team, clients, business, and personal development, making room for every vital aspect of life. She considers the greatest reward to be the moment she hands over the keys to a client, seeing the happiness in their eyes and hearing their words of gratitude. For that is when the business takes on its true meaning: helping someone open the door to the future they have chosen for themselves.

EXPERIENCE, RESPONSIBILITY, AND A SAFETY CULTURE WORKING FOR THE FUTURE
N
early three decades in the field of industrial safety represent years of responsibility, complex decision-making, and the development of a unique professional approach. For Liudmyla Naivert, this field has never been a mere formality or a matter of paperwork; behind every decision, she sees human lives, the safety of industrial facilities, and the protection of territories. Today, this experience forms the foundation for the growth of Ukragroteh RPE LLC – a family business to which she has dedicated nearly 30 years of her life.

— Mrs. Liudmyla, we are delighted to welcome you to the pages of MILLENIUM CLUB! What drew you to the field of industrial safety, and what shaped your professional approach to working with high-hazard facilities? — I have been working in the field of industrial safety for nearly 30 years. For me, this has never been merely a matter of preparing documentation; behind every calculation and decision lie the safety of the enterprise, human lives, and the protection of areas against the potential consequences of accidents.
practical implementation at specific enterprises.
From the very beginning, Ukragroteh RPE LLC was established as a family business – founded together with Oleksandr. We invested not only our professional expertise but also a vast part of our lives into the company, building the team, establishing professional principles, and shaping our reputation. Today, the responsibility for this enterprise rests entirely with me, and I feel a duty to preserve what has been created and ensure its continued development.
Today, I focus on technical leadership, complex professional challenges, methodology, and passing on my accumulated experience. Yuliia is responsible for operational management, organizing the team’s work, and the company’s development.
Over the years, we have worked with major enterprises across various Ukrainian industries and settled complex, non-standard problems. I have also served as an expert contributing to the improvement of Ukrainian legislation regarding high-hazard facilities. This experience has allowed me to view the system from a broader perspective –spanning everything from legislative regulations to their

— Today, Ukragroteh is led by Yuliia Halich. How do your professional roles complement each other? — It is particularly important to me that Mrs. Yuliia has advanced within Ukragroteh from an engineer to the head of the company. She knows our operations from the inside – understanding the technical processes, the nuances of working with clients, and the responsibilities borne by our specialists.
It is vital for me as the founder to see that the business to which I have dedicated nearly three decades of my life has a future. The combination of experience, professional continuity, and a fresh management vision enables Ukragroteh to continue its growth. — Ukraine is adapting its technological safety system with European standards. How do you envision the future of this sector and the role of Ukragroteh? — I see the future of technological security of Ukraine
in the transition from the formal implementation of regulatory requirements to a modern risk management system. The European approach is first of all accident prevention: the danger must be detected in time, professionally assessed and everything possible must be done to prevent its realisation or minimise its consequences. Ukraine is already moving along this path. It is important that European norms are not simply transferred into legislation, but work in practice taking into account our realities and accumulated experience. This is where I see the role of «Ukragroteh». For almost 30 years, we have formed a strong professional school, accumulated unique practical experience of working with high-risk objects, and today we combine it with new European approaches. Our task is to help enterprises not just meet the requirements of the law, but to create a really effective security system. I want the experience that we have accumulated for decades to work for the future of Ukraine, to be passed on to a new generation of specialists and to help shape a modern security culture where human life remains the highest value.

Lanas Cafe and Bistro

T
here are women whose stories cannot be defined by a single profession or achievement. Their true strength lies in the way they live—how they navigate change, build a family, raise children, and remain beautiful, feminine, creative, and open to the world. Lana Kaufman is one such woman: a Ukrainian, an artist, a wife, and a mother of four who one day walked away from her familiar life without ever losing herself. WHEN BORDERS CHANGE, BUT VALUES DO NOT Lana’s family had travelled to Florida for the children’s school break when the full-scale war broke out. They remained in the U.S. and began looking for a safe place where the children could continue their education. That is how Lana ended up in Austin – a city she had never visited before, just as she had never been to Texas. With essentially just a single suitcase, she began building a new life in an unfamiliar environment. Relocating always tests a person’s resilience – especially when you are a mother of four. You have to help them adapt, create a sense of home in a place that felt alien just yesterday, and support your family – all while finding space for your own personal growth. Lana succeeded. Today, when you look at her, you don’t see a story about the loss of a familiar life. On the contrary, you see a story about a woman’s ability to rebuild her life – without abandoning the past or forgetting where she comes from, yet boldly embracing new horizons. A WOMAN FOR WHOM FAMILY IS STRENGTH Beyond her creative achievements, exhibitions, international projects, and beautiful photographs, there is another vitally important part of Lana’s life: her family. She is a wife and a mother of four. And perhaps it is here that her true feminine strength is best revealed – in her ability to balance multiple roles without losing herself in the process. Her children are growing up in an international environment, playing sports, learning languages, and engaging with other cultures. Her daughter is already showing an interest in art and taking her first creative steps. This is a special kind of legacy – passing on to one’s children not just knowledge or opportunities, but the ability to see beauty, create, and remain true to oneself, regardless of where one lives. For Lana, home has long since ceased to be merely a point on a map; home is the people you love. BEAUTY AS AN ATTITUDE TOWARD LIFE Lana is an incredibly beautiful and stylish woman. Her look is always feminine, modern, and confident. Yet, what truly stands out is something else: she is in excellent physical shape. And that speaks volumes about a person. After all, self-care is about
more than just appearance; it is about discipline, respect for one’s body, energy, and the desire to live life to the fullest. Raising four children, managing family life and creative pursuits, relocating and adapting to a new country, and pursuing a career—amidst such a hectic pace, it is all too easy to put oneself last. Lana demonstrates a different path: being devoted to family while remaining true to herself as a woman; being a mother while holding onto her own dreams; being a wife while continuing her personal growth; and caring for others while remembering to care for herself. Her style goes beyond mere clothing; it is a way of presenting herself to the world—with dignity, beauty, and inner confidence.
UKRAINE TRAVELING WITH HER Living far from her homeland, Lana continues to share the story of Ukraine through her art. The sunflowers on her canvases are more than just vivid imagery; they are symbols embodying memory, love for her native land, and hope. Over time, Lana’s work began to find an audience beyond Ukraine’s borders. Her pieces have been showcased on art platforms in various U.S. cities. Through her painting, she introduces viewers to Ukrainian culture and imagery, revealing the beauty and strength of her country to others. In the autumn, Lana opened Lanas Cafe and Bistro – a venue where she introduces a broad American audience to Ukrainian cuisine and culture. She considers it a great honour to represent Ukraine in this way as well. The walls of the cafe-bistro feature Ukrainian paintings and among the special
interior accents are items acquired at charity auctions involving musicians and artists who visit to raise funds for Ukraine. Lana also continues to participate in charitable initiatives and support Ukrainians through her art. For her, this is both a great honour and a responsibility – an opportunity to channel her creativity into a good cause and be of service to the people and the country that remain close to her heart. Lanas Cafe and Bistro also supports Ukrainian projects taking place both in the U.S. and in Ukraine. Thus, the personal story of this artist and entrepreneur becomes part of a much larger narrative – the story of Ukrainians living in every corner of the globe who continue to carry Ukraine with them. A NAME WITHOUT BORDERS Today, the concept of a successful woman is evolving. Success is no longer defined solely by professional status, the number of projects undertaken or international acclaim. It is also about the ability to navigate change without losing one’s inner anchor – to start over fearlessly, to support one’s family while continuing to grow personally. It means remaining beautiful regardless of life’s circumstances because selflove has become an integral part of your lifestyle. It means remembering your roots while living far from your homeland, building your own business to introduce others to your country’s culture, and creating an environment filled with love. That is precisely why Lana Kaufman’s story resonates so naturally within the international MILLENIUM CLUB project “A NAME WITHOUT BORDERS: TOP 50 SUCCESSFUL WOMEN – 2026”. Borders may define one’s country of residence, but they cannot define the magnitude of a person’s character. Today, Lana is a Ukrainian woman making her mark on the wider world. She is an artist whose works travel across borders, speaking the universal language of emotions. She is an entrepreneur who introduces Americans to Ukrainian culture, cuisine, and hospitality through Lanas Cafe and Bistro. She is a woman who nurtures herself, embraces beauty, and continues to create. Her story serves as a reminder: true female strength does not always require loud declarations. Sometimes, it simply looks like a woman who, after all the changes she has weathered, continues to love – her family, her country, her work, her life,
From the Editorial Board of MILLENIUM CLUB Lana, for the MILLENIUM CLUB, it has been truly special to follow your journey over the years. We have witnessed the changing geography of your life, the evolution of your creative work, and how the Ukrainian imagery in your art has found an audience far beyond your homeland. Today, a significant new chapter has been added to this story: Lanas Cafe and Bistro, where you introduce American audiences to Ukrainian culture, cuisine, and hospitality. Yet, what is most inspiring is that, amidst all these changes, you have held fast to what matters most – your love for family, Ukraine, art, and life itself. It is precisely such personal stories that shape the image of the modern Ukrainian woman on the global stage – a woman whose name truly knows no borders.

RADOVINSKA:
“FROM A DREAM TO MY OWN BUSINESS — I’VE ALREADY TAKEN THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP”
S
ometimes a new country forces you to start practically from scratch. And sometimes it is precisely this “zero” that becomes the starting point for a much greater story. Natalia Radovinska has managed to turn her love of the art of confectionery into her own creative and educational venture in Germany, where she now runs online and in-person masterclasses and is developing new learning formats. Her story isn’t about waiting for the perfect moment. It’s about deciding to take action, drawing on her experience, talent and the opportunities offered by her new environment. Natalia has already taken the most important step – from dream to her own business. Now her goal is to move forward and scale up what she has already created. things weren’t perfect yet. Today, when I see the people at my masterclasses – witnessing their results and emotions – I realise I made the most important decision of all: I allowed myself not just to dream, but to but to make my plans a reality.
— Natalia, you now live and run your business in Germany. How did your creative journey begin? — It all began back in Ukraine. For years, I worked in the confectionery arts, creating cakes and desserts, whilst learning and honing my skills. Over time, I realised that I was interested not only in creating beautiful things with my own hands, but also in sharing my knowledge and showing people that creativity is accessible to everyone. After moving to Germany, I had to start many things practically from scratch. At the same time, it was precisely this phase that helped me see my own future in a new light. That’s how my workshops came about — first in person, and then online. Today, this is no longer just an idea or a dream, but a direction I’m developing. It’s important to me to create a space where people not only learn, but also discover new possibilities within themselves. — What was the most difficult thing after you moved, and what helped you turn your plans into reality? — The hardest part was the feeling of starting life with a clean leaf: a new environment, language, and set of rules, and the absence of my usual social circle. Yet, I didn’t want to leave my knowledge and experience in the past. For a long time, I told myself I would start “someday” – once I had more opportunities, confidence, and experience. Then I realised I could wait forever for that “someday.” So, at a certain point, I simply decided to take action – even though I was scared, and even though
— “Let’s create beauty around us” – those are the words from your profile. Has this become your philosophy of life? — Exactly. For me, beauty isn’t just about desserts. It can be found in flowers, a table setting, the atmosphere of a gathering, or a kind word. I want to do more than just create something beautiful; I want to share that feeling with others. If my work brings a smile to someone’s face, evokes an emotion, or inspires them to create something themselves, then I know I am doing exactly what I am meant to do. — In your masterclasses, what is more important: passing on the technique or giving a person the feeling that “I can do this too”? — Both are important. I try to explain the technique in a simple and structured way, so that people understand not only what to do, but also why. But above all, I want to instil a belief in their own abilities. I’ve made mistakes myself, had my doubts, and been dissatisfied with the result. That’s why I explain: if it doesn’t turn out quite as perfect as in the picture the first time round, it doesn’t mean you’re not capable of doing it. For me, the most rewarding moment is when, after a workshop, someone looks at their work and says: “I did that myself!” — How does a German audience receive your work? — I see a genuine interest in and respect for handcrafted creative work. People appreciate not only the finished product, but also the process itself. In Ukraine, the art of confectionery is highly developed; competition is fierce, and great attention is paid to complexity, detail and a flawless appearance. In Germany,
I sense more of an interest in the experience itself: trying something new, spending time creatively, and enjoying oneself. I relate to the combination of these approaches: the Ukrainian love for beautiful, high-quality work and the European perception of creativity as a source of emotion. — Today, your business has already expanded beyond confectionery to include workshops, consultancy and digital learning. How do you envisage the next stage of your development? — I don’t want to limit myself. I’m drawn to the idea of running my own online school and international educational programmes, because the online format allows me to share knowledge regardless of country. My big dream is to create a creative space with a special atmosphere, where people will come not only for knowledge, but also for inspiration, social interaction and emotional experiences. Whether it will be a school, a large creative centre or an international personal brand – only time will tell. But today, I’m no longer putting these ideas off “until later”. I’m gradually moving towards them and want my work to extend beyond the borders of a single country. — Our project is called “A Name without Borders”. What barriers have you already managed to overcome, and what does moving forward mean to you? — Probably far more than I could ever have imagined. Geographically – when I left Ukraine and began to build a life in another country; linguistically – when I had to adapt to the German language and a new environment; professionally – when I allowed myself to return to creativity and turn my passion into my own business. But the most difficult boundaries were the ones within me: the fear of getting started, the doubts, the questions I asked myself: “Will I really be able to do this?” Today, I’m already at a different stage. I’ve already taken the most important step — from dream to action. Now I want to move forward: to scale up my creative work, develop my educational initiatives, reach an international audience and create my own projects. It’s important for me to lead by example: you can start a new chapter regardless of your country, age or circumstances. The main thing is to stop putting yourself off until “later” one day and take that first step.
From the Editorial Board of MILLENIUM CLUB “A Name without Borders” is about people who do not allow circumstances to limit their potential. Natalia Radovinska’s story is a perfect example of this. Having embarked on a new chapter of her life in Germany, she did not leave her creative pursuits behind, but transformed them into a new professional direction – from her passion to masterclasses, educational projects and plans to create an international creative space. Natalia has already taken the most important step: to stop merely dreaming and start taking action. Today, she faces a different challenge: to expand the boundaries of her own business, reach out to a new audience and allow herself to think on a larger scale – because sometimes, a dream which came true is not the end of the story. It is merely the starting point for the next stage.

BEAUTY WITHOUT BORDERS: WHEN EXPERIENCE BECOMES STRENGTH
A
participant in the “Name Without Borders. TOP 50 Successful Women — 2026” project, Inna Katarzhnova has made a remarkable journey from finance and investment project management to building her own business in the beauty industry. More than once, she has had to move countries, adapt to new professional standards, and rebuild her career. Yet every new beginning has only strengthened her belief that a person’s greatest capital is their knowledge and experience. FOUNDER OF BEAUTY WELLNESS CHI, AESTHETICIAN, SPECIALIST IN ADVANCED AESTHETIC TECHNOLOGIES, AND ENTREPRENEUR. KHARKIV — USA — BELGRADE.
— Inna, how did your background in finance and investment projects eventually lead you to cosmetology? — I had been interested in the beauty industry since I was young. While studying Finance, I also completed professional courses in hairdressing. Later, I earned a second university degree in management and human resources, worked in business, and managed real estate investment projects. That experience taught me to think systematically and strategically and to take responsibility for results. But one day, I asked myself a simple question: “What would I truly love to do?” The answer was the beauty industry. So I returned to studying: dermatology, facial anatomy, skin physiology, aesthetic cosmetology, and advanced device-based treatments. For me, it is not enough simply to know how a technology works. I need to understand when it should be used, who it is right for, and what result it is meant to achieve. — When did you launch your first business of your own? — In 2020, I opened a beauty salon in the centre of Kharkiv. We worked with advanced American and German aesthetic technologies. That was when my core professional

LILIIA KOSTIV: THE STRENGTH OF A WOMAN WHO DOESN’T PUT LIFE ON HOLD
T
here are people whose strength is revealed not through grand words, but through what they choose to do every day. They keep working when times are difficult. They create jobs when the future feels uncertain. They support others, grow businesses, bring women together, and remain true to their values. Liliia Kostiv is one of them. An entrepreneur, public figure, an active voice within the women’s business community, a wife and mother of three sons, she embodies the character of the modern Ukrainian woman — one who does not wait for better times, but chooses to create them herself.
LIFE CANNOT BE PUT ON HOLD For more than two decades, Liliia Kostiv has been building and developing her own businesses. Her beauty salon has been operating for over 24 years, while her experience in the restaurant industry spans more than a decade. Behind these numbers are years of dedication, responsibility for others, and the ability to keep moving forward at a time when businesses are being tested in extraordinary ways. The war changed many things in Liliia’s life as well. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, she left for Poland with her children, but soon returned to Ukraine. It was during that period, she says, that she became particularly aware of her own inner strength and came to a defining realization: life cannot be postponed until later. That thought became something of a personal philosophy. Even through the most challenging years, her businesses have continued to operate: jobs have been preserved, salaries paid, taxes contributed, and new ideas brought to life. For Liliia, continuing to grow today is about far more than entrepreneurship. It is about responsibility — and a profound belief in Ukraine’s future. THE POWER TO BRING WOMEN TOGETHER Another important chapter of Liliia’s life is devoted to women’s leadership and civic engagement. For many years, she has been part of a community in which successful Ukrainian women support one another, share experience, and create educational and charitable initiatives. In a previous interview with MILLENIUM CLUB, Liliia spoke about the international Women of Ukraine Club, whose members represent more than 18 countries
28
MILLENIUM BUSINESS’вересень
worldwide. Since the beginning of the war, many of its Ukrainian initiatives have focused on charity and supporting those who need it most. Today, her work is also connected with the Women’s Business Chamber of Ukraine, while a significant new chapter has begun with the creation of the public organization Academy of Women’s Identity. The very name of this initiative reflects an idea deeply important to Liliia: helping the modern woman preserve her sense of self amid the many roles she fulfills every day. To be a professional, a leader, a wife, a mother; to continue developing and supporting others — while still protecting her own identity, inner foundation, and right to personal fulfillment. The Academy of Women’s Identity is envisioned as a space for women’s development, mutual support, and connection — an environment where women can discover their potential, exchange experience, find like-minded people, and create new opportunities together. For Liliia, however, women’s leadership has never been about competing to be first. It is about the ability to unite, to support, to share opportunities, and to remain deeply human regardless of status. That is why honesty, social responsibility, and human values remain among the principles she considers fundamental — both in business and in public life. REMAINING A WOMAN — EVEN IN TIMES OF WAR There is another belief at the heart of Liliia’s worldview that resonates particularly strongly today: the Ukrainian woman has always been a guardian — of family, values, and life itself. Yet the modern guardian is no longer only the woman who protects her home. She runs businesses, makes decisions, raises children, supports others, helps her country — and at
the same time learns not to lose herself along the way. Strength, Liliia believes, does not mean having to do everything alone. A strong woman also has the right to ask for help. And even in times of war, she has the right to remain a woman. Perhaps this is the essence of Liliia’s own philosophy of femininity: to be strong without becoming hardened; responsible without losing warmth; successful without forgetting those beside you. THE FACE OF MODERN UKRAINE Today, Ukraine is represented on the world stage not only by famous names. Its true face is also found in the people who stay, work, create, support others, and take responsibility for the future. Liliia Kostiv is one of them. Her story brings together entrepreneurship and philanthropy, femininity and strength of character, family and public engagement, personal ambition and a genuine desire to contribute to the lives of others. The creation of the Academy of Women’s Identity has become a natural continuation of this journey — an expression of Liliia’s desire not only to bring her own ideas to life, but also to create a space where other women can grow in confidence, discover their potential, find support, and open new doors for themselves. And perhaps this is where the true power of women’s leadership reveals itself most clearly today — not simply in moving forward yourself, but in creating opportunities for others to move forward with you. Because the face of modern Ukraine is, above all, its people. People who, despite everything, continue to live, love, work, bring others together — and create the future of their country today.

OLEKSANDR KIKTENKO:
TODAY, RESILIENCE MEANS BUILDING SYSTEMS THAT CAN OPERATE UNDER ANY CONDITIONS
О
leksandr Kiktenko has always viewed a crisis not as a reason for business to freeze, but as a moment to search for new solutions. This principle has shaped his entrepreneurial journey for many years – from developing production and partnership networks to his current vision for Ukraine’s distributed logistics infrastructure. Three years after our previous conversation, we meet again to discuss volunteering, corporate responsibility, and why the country’s reconstruction cannot be postponed until “after the war.”
- Oleksandr, when we spoke in 2023, we discussed volunteering, business, and Ukraine’s recovery. Three years have passed. How has your vision of the future of the Ukrainian economy changed? - First and foremost, it has become clear that we cannot wait for the war to end before we begin making changes. The economy needs to function now. Businesses need to operate now. And decisions about the country’s future infrastructure need to be made now. The war has exposed the vulnerability of many centralised systems. That is why I believe one of the key principles of future development should be decentralisation. Instead of concentrating all resources in a single location, we need to create systems in which individual elements can operate autonomously while remaining interconnected parts of one larger mechanism. - How has your approach to volunteering evolved during this time? - At the beginning of the full-scale war, we responded to immediate 32

requests: if something was needed, we found it, purchased it, and delivered it. Speed and results were what mattered most. Today, I am increasingly convinced that assistance also needs to become systematic. You can continue addressing the consequences of a problem indefinitely, or you can build mechanisms that reduce the problem itself. Business has considerable experience in this respect: organising people, processes, logistics, and finances. And this expertise is something the country needs today. - What needs to be done now to restore Ukraine’s industry and logistics? - First of all, we need to assess efficiency and risk. We should not simply rebuild what existed before. We need to build what the country requires now, taking into account everything this war has taught us. New facilities should be fast to construct, technologically advanced, efficiently managed, and as independent as possible from any single major hub. We
need to think not only about construction costs, but also about what happens to the entire system if one of its elements becomes temporarily unavailable. - Is this the principle behind HUBNET.UA? - Exactly. The core idea is very simple: instead of one large hub, create a network of smaller logistics hubs across Ukraine. These hubs are connected through a unified digital system for management, monitoring, and analytics. Modular construction allows facilities to become operational more quickly, while distributing inventory across multiple locations reduces the risk of losing an entire logistics infrastructure if one facility is damaged. So HUB-NET.UA is not simply about building warehouses. It is about building a network. - Does that mean logistics is effectively becoming part of national security? - I would describe it as part of the country’s resilience. Businesses must be able to maintain supplies even when one individual link in the chain is temporarily disrupted. It follows the same principle of a sustainable business model: you should never build an entire system around dependence on one person, one client, or one supplier. Today, the same principle applies to a country’s infrastructure. - How do you define the responsibility of Ukrainian business today? - By doing its job. Creating products and jobs, paying taxes, supporting the Armed Forces, helping people, and continuing to invest. I have always believed in long-term relationships in business. Today, that principle matters more than ever: the state, entrepreneurs, and local communities need to learn how to work together as partners. After the war, it is not enough for Ukraine to just return everything it had. If we have been forced to endure challenges of this magnitude, then we must use everything we have learned from them to build a country that is stronger, more technologically advanced, and more efficient than it was before the war.

Yuliia has already developed her own distinctive creative style. It is instantly recognisable in her embroidered pendants, chokers, headbands, accessories, and décor items – including Christmas ornaments. Here, Ukrainian embroidery transcends traditional fabric to become part of an everyday look. A vibrant poppy might adorn a choker, or a delicate embroidered motif might feature on a pendant that pairs effortlessly with a sweater and a denim jacket. Handcrafted artistry becomes a detail of a modern wardrobe – the very element that transforms an ordinary look into something peculiar. And this is precisely where Yuliia’s signature style as an artisan shines through: she does not merely copy the past – she engages in a dialogue with it. WEARABLE CULTURE Living abroad changed Yuliia’s geography, but it did not alter the cultural identity of her work. On the contrary, the distance imbued it with new meaning. When the Ukrainian artisan’s creations reach people in different countries, a small piece of Ukraine travels with them. For some, it is a reminder of their own roots. For others, it is a first introduction to Ukrainian embroidery. And for some, it is simply a beautiful object that eventually opens the door to an entire culture. This is how the soft power of art works: without loud declarations or lengthy explanations. Beauty captures attention first, followed by questions: what does this symbol mean? Where does this technique come from? What is the story behind it? And in this way, Ukraine gains another conversation partner..
she does not turn tradition into an untouchable museum piece; in her hands, embroidery lives alongside the modern woman. It can be worn with jeans, given as a gift to a loved one, or added to an autumn outfit. It can even be used to decorate a home or a Christmas tree. While her product range expands and new shapes and ideas emerge, the essential element remains constant: the work is handmade. In a world of mass production, knowing that an item was created by a specific person— stitch by stitch—is a rare luxury. For Yuliia herself, it is also a way to stay close to Ukraine, regardless of the distance separating her from home. THE WOMAN WHO CREATES HER OWN Behind every handmade brand lies far more than the customer sees. There is the search for ideas and materials, hours of painstaking work, photography, customer communication, packaging, and shipping— along with the need to start each new piece from a blank slate. Yuliia embodies both the artisan and the modern woman building her own business far from her home country. She experiments, expands her product range, conducts workshops, and shares her skills with others. Perhaps that is precisely why her work fits so naturally into the «Names of the Modern World» series. Today, there are many ways to represent one’s country; Yuliia does so with a needle and thread. She does not simply take a piece of Ukraine with her; she allows that piece of Ukraine to travel further— to other cities, countries, homes, and people.
TRADITION WITHOUT MUSEUM GLASS What makes Yuliia’s work particularly valuable is that
From the Editorial Board of MILLENIUM CLUB In today’s world, a reputation is built not on noise, but on what a person leaves behind. Yuliia Draiuk leaves behind small traces of Ukraine – both where her works are created and wherever they travel next. Hers is the story of a woman who transformed her love for tradition into a unique creative language; of an artisan for whom Ukrainian culture knows no borders; and of a thoroughly modern way to share Ukraine with the world – through beauty one wants to keep close at hand.

— Olena, it is a pleasure to meet you. What does maturity mean to you today? — To me, maturity is a way of living, supported by two fundamental pillars: the ability to say no to what I do not need and the ability to ask for what I do need. It sounds simple. Yet it took me many years to understand that both require a tremendous amount of inner work. — Why is it so difficult for us to say such a short yet important word: “no”? — For me, it is first and foremost about boundaries. Behind a boundary lies confidence and resolve: it cannot simply be pushed aside. No means no. Gently, but firmly. We spend so much of our lives learning to hear the wishes of others — and our parents are the first of those “others” — that sometimes there is simply no time left to listen to our own desires. Eventually, we may even forget what they feel like. — What about the other essential skill — the ability to ask? — Asking is difficult. Giving feels much easier. When we give our time, attention, money, help or love, we tend to feel capable, generous and good.
But before we can ask for something, we first have to recognise our own need, acknowledge it, give it a name — and then reveal it to another person. Asking makes us vulnerable. And there is always the possibility of hearing “no” in return. I am still learning how to ask. I am much better at it now: “I need this. I need you. I need your help. I am asking you.” — What kind of needs do we encounter most often in everyday life? — Sometimes what I need is simply time shared with someone dear to me. It may be support, understanding, advice, a clear and objective perspective from someone I trust, a little money to tide me over until payday, help moving things — or simply a long walk together, until we are tired, through my favourite Botanical Garden. — Where is the balance between our desire to give and our right to receive? — These two skills have become a kind of personal training ground for me: learning to say “no” and learning to ask. This is where I find the first and perhaps most important freedom of maturity today: being considerate of another person, helping
and caring for them without doing so at my own expense; recognising my own needs and having the courage to voice them. Not demanding. Not manipulating. Not expecting another person to somehow guess what I need. Simply asking — and leaving them the freedom to choose whether to give me what I am asking for or to say “no”. — Can this reciprocity become a formula for inner freedom? — These two abilities guide the two reciprocal movements within any relationship: giving and receiving. My “no” defines how much I am prepared to give. My request allows me to accept, with gratitude, what another person is willing to give me. Freedom must be mutual. I have the right not to give. I have the right to ask. And the other person has the right to answer either “yes” or “no”. Giving and receiving. Breathing in and breathing out. And then everything begins to find its balance. Because this is the natural rhythm of life itself. Breathe in, breathe out… and breathe in again.
From the Editorial Board of MILLENIUM CLUB The editorial team of the international magazine MILLENIUM CLUB thanks Olena Brovko for taking part in the Portrait of a Ukrainian Woman project. We wish her the inner freedom to remain true to herself, the courage to listen to her own voice, and the gift of having people beside her with whom she can always be her authentic self.

WHEN LAW BECOMES A PILLAR OF STRENGTH
T
here are professions whose true significance becomes especially clear when the familiar world loses its stability. When a document represents far more than a signature — it represents a home. A family. An inheritance. A future. A person’s right to protect what has taken years to build. Today, amid the realities of war, the work of a notary increasingly becomes a point of legal security. For Natalia Kozaieva, law has long been more than a profession. It is a responsibility to people — and a firm belief that many problems can be prevented when action is taken in time.

A PROFESSION WHERE DETAILS MATTER Natalia Kozaieva has worked in the notarial profession since 2010. Over the years, legislation, registries, technologies, society, and the country itself have changed. One thing, however, has remained constant: the weight of every professional decision. A notary works in a field where a single inaccuracy today can become a serious problem years later. Behind seemingly routine contracts, powers of attorney, inheritance cases, or real-estate transactions lie expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and enormous responsibility. Natalia’s work extends far beyond the walls of her office. She explains complex legal changes in accessible language, analyses new legislation, addresses inconsistencies in legal practice, and draws attention to the challenges faced every day by both citizens and fellow professionals. Because a truly accomplished legal professional is not simply someone who knows the law. It is someone who understands how the law works in real life. WHEN DOCUMENTS HOLD PEOPLE’S LIVES The war has added another dimension to the role of the notary. People come to Natalia whose apartments and homes have been damaged or destroyed. And all too often, the conversation begins with the same words: “We didn’t know this needed to be done earlier…” Property rights registered many years ago, information missing from modern digital registries, lost documents — issues that could once remain unresolved for years without appearing urgent can now become serious obstacles. This is why Natalia speaks not only about solving legal problems, but about preventing them: checking that property rights are properly registered, keeping electronic copies of important documents, and taking care of the legal protection of one’s assets before a crisis occurs.

This goes beyond professional advice. It is about building a culture of legal awareness. THE NOTARIAL PROFESSION IN A NEW ERA Today, Natalia Kozaieva combines private practice with active professional involvement in the Notary Chamber of Ukraine. For her, it is important not merely to work within existing rules, but to contribute to the evolution of the profession itself. Digital transformation, information security, new electronic services, and greater accessibility of notarial services are shaping a new generation of notarial practice. One such initiative is the My Notary application, designed to make communication between citizens and notaries simpler, clearer, and more accessible. Behind the technology lies a fundamentally human idea: law should not be a complicated maze understood only by professionals. It should be an effective instrument for protecting people. TRUSTING YOUR OWN WINGS Yet behind Natalia’s professional precision lies another defining quality — an inner sense of freedom. She is drawn to the image of a bird sitting on a branch without fearing that it might break. Not because the bird trusts the strength of the branch, but because it trusts its own wings.
But the individual remains. Their knowledge. Their experience. Their character. Their ability to begin again. And perhaps this is what truly defines the Names of the Modern World — people whose significance is measured not only by professional status, but by the principles they stand for.
Perhaps few people understand that philosophy today as deeply as Ukrainians do.
Natalia Kozaieva is one of those people for whom law is, above all, about the individual — their security, their rights, and their future.
We have witnessed how quickly circumstances can change, how plans can collapse, and how things once considered unshakable can disappear.
Because sometimes the most important source of support is not what we hold on to, but what we discover within ourselves.

OLENA BARTUL: SALES AS AN ART. EXPERIENCE AS VALUE С
onsulting for Business. Mentorship for the Soul. “Every interaction we have with another person is, in a way, a sale.” This is how Olena Bartul defines the philosophy she has developed over more than 30 years in sales and communications. A sale begins long before the product, the commercial proposal, or the negotiation itself. Sometimes, it begins with a glance, a smile, the way you carry yourself, a handshake, or the very first words you say. It begins with the ability to present yourself and your idea, to truly hear the person in front of you, and to find the words that will genuinely resonate with them. Today, Olena Bartul is a sales and communications expert, consultant, and business trainer. Her professional journey includes more than a decade of leadership experience, building and developing teams, launching sales departments, involvement in 11 real estate development projects, and extensive expertise across development, investment real estate, hospitality, and B2B. Yet Olena measures her professional story by far more than projects and titles.
PEOPLE BUY FROM PEOPLE Over the decades, markets have changed. Products have changed. Teams and businesses have evolved. Yet one conviction has remained constant: at the heart of every successful sale is a human connection. “The era of mindlessly following scripts is coming to an end. Today, people buy from people. And trust is born from honesty, humanity, and a genuine desire to help.” For Olena, a strong sales professional is not someone who can persuade at any cost. It is someone who knows how to listen — and, far more importantly, how to truly hear. It means understanding the client’s real needs, helping them gain clarity, offering the right solution — and sometimes even advising them against a purchase when it is not truly right for them. This is what Olena considers the highest level of mastery in sales. Another principle she lives by is leaving a sense of warmth behind after every interaction. We never know which encounter may return to us a year — or even a decade — later. A brief conversation may remain simply a pleasant meeting, or one day evolve into a recommendation, a partnership, or an entirely new professional opportunity. For Olena, therefore, sales are about far more than closing a deal. They are a culture of human connection. EXPERIENCE THAT WORKS FOR BUSINESS More than 30 years of hands-on experience and over a decade in leadership have allowed Olena to see sales from multiple perspectives: as a sales professional, as an executive, and as someone who builds teams and designs commercial processes. Today, that experience has become the foundation of her independent consulting practice. One of her key areas of expertise is the comprehensive audit of sales departments. Rather than evaluating an individual manager in isolation, Olena examines the entire system: the customer journey, the team, leadership, CRM and sales funnels, communication standards, motivation, KPIs, and the quality of negotiations. The purpose of such an audit is not to find someone to blame. It is to identify

what a business, immersed in its own daily processes, may no longer be able to see: where clients are being lost, what is holding the team back, which processes need to change, and where the real opportunities for growth lie. The result is not a list of problems, but a clear roadmap for transformation. Because, in Olena’s view, a strong system should never restrict the talent of a salesperson. Quite the opposite: it should create an environment in which that talent can flourish — and consistently deliver results. MENTORSHIP FOR THE SOUL Olena began teaching others long before training became a distinct part of her professional career. Today, some of her former trainees have become executives and senior managers themselves. Years later, some still turn to her for advice. Others write simply: “Thank you for believing in me back then.” These are the words Olena considers part of her greatest professional treasure. Today, she also shares her experience with a younger generation through her collaboration with Zaporizhzhia National University, where she delivers lectures and practical sessions for students. And here, once again, sales take on a much broader meaning. Learning how to present yourself. Having the confidence to be visible. Expressing your thoughts clearly. Understanding who you are speaking to. Listening — and truly hearing. Making a compelling argument. Finding common ground. These are not merely sales skills. They are life skills. And so, two directions have come together naturally in Olena Bartul’s professional world. Consulting for business. Mentorship for the soul. What connects them is people. Because after more than three decades in the profession, the greatest value is no longer found in titles or in the number of deals closed. The greatest value lies in the people whose own success was, one day, made possible in part by the experience you chose to share. These are the professional stories that define the NAMES OF THE MODERN WORLD.

OLGA LAZARENKO:
A MAGNETIC WOMAN WHO SENSES BEYOND THE VISIBLE
S
ome people make their presence felt before they even begin to speak. They seem to carry a distinctive energy – drawing attention, inspiring trust, and leaving behind an impression that is difficult to put into words. Olga Lazarenko is often described as exactly that kind of person: a woman with a magnetic presence. Her name became known to millions of Ukrainians through television, yet her real story reaches far beyond the screen. For more than 36 years, Olga has worked with people, combining medical knowledge, bioenergetic practices, remarkable intuition, and abilities she herself regards as a special gift. Today, at 73, she continues to prove that a woman’s true strength lies in having the courage to remain herself and follow her own path – even when that path defies convention.
A GIFT THAT BECAME A CALLING Some professions are chosen. Others feel more like a calling – something that cannot be explained by education or qualifications alone. Olga Lazarenko has a medical background, studied at the Academy of Christian Healing Methods, and explored practices of self-regulation and meditation. She also received two special authorizations from Ukraine’s Ministry of Health to practise in the field of traditional medicine. Yet Olga also speaks openly about another dimension of her work – what she describes as extrasensory abilities, an unusual sensitivity to people, and exceptionally strong intuition. She says she can perceive what often remains invisible to others: a person’s emotional state, inner tension, fears, and what she interprets as energetic imbalance. Rather than diminishing with time, this sensitivity has become something Olga says she has learned to understand and navigate more deeply through experience. Her distinctive approach has evolved at the intersection of medical knowledge, traditional methods, bioenergetic practices, and decades of personal experience. At its heart is a holistic view of the individual – a belief that physical wellbeing, emotions, and one’s inner state are deeply interconnected. A MAGNETIC PRESENCE There is another quality about Olga Lazarenko that no list of titles or achievements can fully capture: her personal energy. Olga is, quite simply, a people magnet. People have always been drawn to her. Some come seeking help, others for guidance, while many are simply intrigued by a woman who speaks openly about experiences that reach beyond conventional perception. Perhaps it was this natural magnetism that also made her such a compelling presence on television. A wider audience first discovered Olga during the second season of Battle of the Psychics, where she became a finalist. It was there that millions of viewers were introduced to the intuitive and extrasensory abilities for which she had already become known in her own professional world. More than fifteen television projects followed, including Parallel World, Super Intuition, It Concerns Everyone, Ukraine Speaks, MasterChef, Provocateur, More Than Truth, and others. But television did not create Olga Lazarenko. It simply introduced a wider audience to a woman who had chosen her unconventional path long before the cameras arrived. BEYOND THE TELEVISION SCREEN The most important part of Olga’s life has always existed away from the spotlight. She has worked both in Ukraine and abroad,
42

including as a biotherapist in medical centres. People have approached her with a wide range of physical and emotional concerns. In her practice, Olga places particular emphasis on a person’s inner state and on the impact that intense emotional experiences, fear, and stress can have on overall well-being. Over the decades, countries, circumstances, and people have changed. What has remained constant is her desire to help and her determination to understand what, in her view, cannot always be perceived by the eyes alone. That is why Olga’s story is ultimately about much more than extrasensory perception or television recognition. It is the story of a woman who was never afraid to embrace what made her different – and to make that difference an authentic part of her life. AN AGE THAT NEVER BECAME A LIMIT Today, Olga Lazarenko is 73. Yet the number reveals remarkably little about the woman herself. She still radiates curiosity, vitality, and a desire to continue working. Behind her lies an extraordinary wealth of professional and personal experience: decades of practice, work in different countries, television recognition, and hundreds of human stories that have crossed her path. Ahead lies the desire to continue her work and pass on the knowledge she has accumulated over the years. Perhaps this is why Olga Lazarenko is so often described as magnetic. True magnetism cannot be manufactured by cameras, status, or fame. It comes from within – from energy, character, inner freedom, and the courage to be unmistakably different. And it is women like Olga who so vividly embody the spirit of Women Who Change the World. Because changing the world does not always mean leading corporations or making headline-grabbing discoveries. Sometimes, it means remaining devoted to your calling for decades, touching people’s lives, and having the courage to live according to your own script. Olga Lazarenko chose her path long ago. And perhaps that is why today she no longer needs to prove who she is. Her greatest capital is her experience, her name, her distinctive energy – and that rare kind of magnetism that simply cannot be performed.

— Liubov, welcome – we are delighted to see you again. How do you see yourself today? What has become your source of inner support? — Today, I see myself as someone who knows a great deal about herself yet remains curious about life. I have over 30 years of professional experience in real estate. My pillars have always been – and remain – family, work, and the pursuit of new knowledge. My current formula is: “I am here. And it makes sense.” It is about being where there is meaning, resources, and opportunity. — Working with families reveals a great deal about people. What has this experience shown you about the strength of the Ukrainian woman? — Working in real estate means working with people. Often, a husband makes the calls, arranges viewings, and discusses terms, but the final decision rests with the wife. She weighs everything up and considers what matters most to the family, often taking top priority of the children and their comfort and safety. To me, the strength of the Ukrainian woman lies in her wisdom: the ability to care for her loved ones and find solutions even in difficult circumstances. Over the years, I have come to realise just how much a family relies on the woman; that is why it is so important for her to find her own source of energy, giving her the strength to support both herself and her loved ones. — What has gained special value for you over the years – in your profession, relationships, and life? — For me, trust is the most important aspect of my profession. I have

worked with many families for years. That is how I developed the concept of a “family realtor” – a professional entrusted with real estate as a key family asset. To me, happiness is a vibrant bouquet comprising love, joy, harmony, peace, security, and the freedom of choice. I consider family well-being to be one of the primary indicators of happiness, because a strong nation begins with well-being in the home. — Where do you find inner balance while combining professional fulfilment with caring for your loved ones? — For me, inner balance is the ability to find what energises me. I paint, run a blog, create videos, and read books about inspiring people. I attend events in search of new trends, connections, and positive emotions. I am constantly learning, because new knowledge opens up new opportunities. We fill our homes with things, light, color, and atmosphere so that we want to return to them. Similarly, it is important for a woman to fill herself with the things that help her shine from within. — How would you describe yourself today? Which trait do you consider the most valuable? — Goal-oriented, responsible, proactive, reliable – that is likely how I would describe myself today. I would identify my most valuable trait as the ability to see opportunities. Even in a difficult situation, I ask myself: “What can be done here?” That is probably why I have stayed in this profession for so many years. It is not enough for me to simply see a problem; I am driven to find a solution. This is the foundation of my consultations for families: analysing a real estate situation and identifying potential options. It is my life philosophy: the horizon of possibilities expands as long as we seek solutions and take action.
The editorial team of the international magazine MILLENIUM CLUB thanks Liubov Maznichenko for her participation in the “Portrait of a Modern Woman” project and wishes her inspiration, energy, harmony, and new opportunities.

A
s part of the “Portrait of a Modern Woman” project, the international magazine MILLENIUM CLUB introduces readers to women whose stories inspire and remind us of the value of life, freedom of choice and belief in one’s own strength. Oksana Chivi shares her experiences, talking about living with multiple sclerosis, important decisions, inner strength and every woman’s right to remain true to herself.
— Oksana, welcome, and we’re delighted to see you again. What does being a modern woman mean to you? — For me, a modern woman is a woman who allows herself to be different: strong when she needs to be, vulnerable when she wants support, active when she has the energy, and simply herself — without needing to prove anything to anyone. It’s about the right to choose her own path, to grow, to look after herself, to fulfil her dreams and, at the same time, to accept herself just as she is today. — What has your experience of living with multiple sclerosis taught you? — Multiple sclerosis has taught me not to put my life ‘off until later’. Over the years I’ve lived with this diagnosis, I’ve realised that strength doesn’t lie in never getting tired or never feeling afraid. Strength lies in carrying on, even when the path is difficult. I’ve learnt to listen to myself more, to look after my health and to cherish the freedom to do what I enjoy. And I certainly won’t let my diagnosis define who I am. — What led you to the decision about stem cells transplantation? — It took me nearly ten years to reach the decision to undergo a transplant. I read
extensively, consulted with doctors, analysed the possibilities, and spent a long time weighing the pros and cons. For me, it wasn’t a spontaneous decision – it was a conscious step that I was ready to take. I am very glad that, today, more opportunities for modern medical care are emerging in Ukraine, and that patients have access to more information and options to choose from in consultation with their doctors. — How important is it to take an active part in your own life? — I believe this is extremely important. Patients have the right to ask their doctor questions, seek information, seek a second opinion and talk about what is worrying them. I have been doing exactly that myself for many years. My community work has also grown out of this experience: I want people with MS to be aware of their options and not be afraid to stand up for their own needs. Taking an active stance isn’t about controlling everything, but about taking part in your own life. — What would you say to a woman who lacks confidence in her own strength? — I would tell her: don’t ask yourself to be strong every day. Allow you to get tired, ask for help and take breaks. But don’t give up on yourself
and your dreams. I have lived with MS for over twenty years and know that life can change very unexpectedly. But even in difficult circumstances, we still have the right to choose, love, dream, develop, be beautiful, make plans and enjoy life. Appreciate every day. A great life arises from small moments of love, faith and hope, and a person’s true legacy is the goodness they leave behind.

DARIA LEN:
THE CODE OF A NEW GENERATION
S
he operates in a world where everything is measured by speed, scale, and the ability to anticipate the next move. A CEO, tech founder, speaker, and UA Tech Network Ambassador, Daria Len builds her business at the intersection of technology, negotiation, and strategic partnerships. Athletic, feminine, and striking, she combines a vibrant presence with a distinctly pragmatic entrepreneurial mindset. Just a few years ago, Daria’s professional language was primarily code. She began her career in iOS development before making a move that fundamentally changed the scale of her ambitions: transitioning from developing technology products to building a business around technology. Today, Daria Len is the CEO and founder of GetMagic. Her areas of expertise span IT consulting, SaaS, mobile applications, e-commerce, websites, CRM systems, and AR solutions. Behind the technical terminology lies a clear business objective: creating solutions that enable companies to operate more efficiently, grow, and scale. Her background as a developer gives her a distinct advantage. Daria understands a technology product from the inside out, which allows her to speak two languages fluently — technology and business. Among her professional achievements is an application that attracted one million users. The number is impressive, but what stands behind it matters even more: the ability to transform technology into a product that real people genuinely need. BUSINESS IS HUMAN There is a paradox at the heart of the digital age: the more sophisticated technology becomes, the more important the human factor is. That is why negotiation and partnerships occupy a place in Daria’s professional world alongside IT. A strong product is not enough — its value must be communicated. The right partners must be found, trust must be established, and opportunities for meaningful collaboration must be recognised. For a CEO, these are no longer simply soft skills. They are part of the business strategy. Today, Daria is also a speaker and UA Tech Network Ambassador. It is a natural progression in her professional evolution: from developer to founder and CEO, from working on products to creating connections between technology, business, and people. NO NEED TO CHOOSE There is another dimension to Daria’s story that feels particularly relevant today. She is athletic, beautiful, and feminine — and she has no intention of making herself less visible in order to conform to a stereotypical image of someone working in tech. A new generation of women is changing the question itself. Intelligence does not negate beauty. Ambition does not cancel femininity. And behind physical strength and an athletic lifestyle often lies the very quality essential to building a successful company: discipline. There is no contradiction between appearance and professional strength. There is simply a woman who allows herself to be multidimensional — and refuses to reduce her identity to a single role. WOMEN WHO CHANGE THE WORLD What does it really mean to change the world? It does not always have to happen loudly. Sometimes change begins with a line of code, a new application, a successful negotiation, or a company that did not exist yesterday. Daria Len belongs to a generation of women for whom technology is not the future — it is the present. They create products, lead teams, negotiate, build businesses, and retain the freedom to be both highly professional and unapologetically feminine. Perhaps this is what the new formula of female leadership looks like: not fitting into a predefined role, but creating one of your own.
From the Editorial Board of MILLENIUM CLUB Daria Len became one of the heroines of our “Women Who Change the World” project because her story captures the spirit of our time with remarkable precision. Technology evolves at extraordinary speed, professions are being transformed, and the advantage belongs to those who do more than simply keep pace with change — they use it to create something new. And if the 21st century is indeed being written in code, increasingly, that code is being written by women.

Серед напрямів її роботи — IT consulting, SaaS, mobile applications, e-commerce, websites, CRM та AR-рішення.

TETIANA ROSTOVSKA
A
SEEING OPPORTUNITIES AND FINDING SOLUTIONS
s part of the “Portrait of a Modern Woman” project, we introduce readers to women whose journeys inspire us to find strength even in difficult times. Tetiana Rostovska is a non-standard psychosomatic specialist who recognises the connection between the body, emotions and one’s inner state. Her story is one of loss, helping others and, most importantly, finding her way back to herself.
— Tetiana, we extend our warmest greetings to you and are delighted to meet you again. Your experiences resonate particularly deeply today. Could you tell us what has been the greatest challenge for you since 24 February 2022? — On 24 February, my stable life was shattered by the first explosions. I lost my clients, my beloved job and, it seemed, the very meaning of life. But instead of giving up, I started helping others. Over the course of a year and a half, I spent more than 1,500 hours volunteering in the field of mental health, working with people who had experienced loss, occupation, fear and sexual violence. I provided massages and manual therapy free of charge. I gave everything I had: my time, my knowledge, my strength and my energy. And gradually, I found myself running out of resources. — At what point did you realise that helping others doesn’t have to mean neglecting yourself? — It happened very simply, yet it was painful. One day, I saw a bag containing a frozen chicken quarter hanging on the door handle. My neighbour had left it as humanitarian aid so that I wouldn’t go hungry. I looked at that bag and suddenly realised: someone had noticed me too. All this time, I’d been the one offering help. But it turned out that I needed help as well. That’s when I realised: being strong doesn’t mean never needing support. — What helped you gradually put yourself back together after that? — I had to rebuild my career, my financial stability, my plans, my relationship with my own body and, most difficult of all, my sense of self-worth. I had to relearn how to charge for my work, how not to save everyone around me at my own expense, and how to allow myself to have desires and to live for more than just survival. And gradually I realised: stability isn’t a life without pain. Stability is the ability, after a fall, to ask yourself: “What do I want to build next?” — What does the concept of “returning to oneself” mean to you today? — This is not a return to the life I had before the war. That life is over. To return to myself means finding a new self, one who now has different experiences, different strengths and a different outlook on life. I have regained my profession, my voice, my body, my desires, my creativity and my curiosity about life. And I have realised that I can have even more than I had before. — What key message would you like to convey to a woman who is currently going through a period of upheaval and cannot see a way forward? — Don’t be too quick to think that this is the end. Perhaps this is the moment when, for the first time, you’ll have to truly turn inwards. Even after the most difficult times, it’s possible not just to recover – but to grow, change and build a new life. I managed it. And I believe you can too.
