DON DUNLAP

Don is retiring after serving our North Shop for 12 years. He has been instrumental in the upgrades and maintenance of our entire fleet of rolling stock. Don has also been a key bridge between the office and shop activities. Don will be dedicating more time to family and the family farm.

JOHN HANNAH

John has served as our Chief Mechanic for more than 30 years. More than keeping our equipment running, he has been a primary player in our equipment decision making across the board. John is continuing as a road commissioner in Piatt County and is looking forward to time with his wife, Tammy, and their grandchildren.

HAROLD RIDDLE

Harold has been an operator for Champaign Signal and Lighting for more than 25 years. He has been a critical part of our growth and success. He plans on spending time with his 2 daughters and wife, Tammy.

MIKE SHELATO

Mike Shelato has served Champaign Asphalt in just about every role imaginable. He has been a mentor to an entire generation of our employees. His loyalty to our group has been immense! We wish him all the best.

BARRY SPICER

Barry has been a hot mix plant expert for more than 40 years. His impact on the safety and success of our hot mix production has been immeasurable. We wish him the best in his retirement, traveling the country with his wife, “Blue Eyes”(Sharon).

New Hires

BRITTANY COFFING

Brittany came to us from The Fountain Trust Company where she worked within the banking industry for 8 years prior to joining Champaign Asphalt. Brittany is excited and motivated to apply her skills and learn lots of new things in the construction and asphalt world.

LAUREN MILBURN

Lauren joined our accounting staff at Champaign Asphalt in July of this year. She brings her background from Classic Plumbing in Mahomet where she was a bookkeeper. She also worked at FE Moran Security for several years as a Senior Review Specialist in the accounting and sales departments.
