2021-2022 PROGRAM INFORMATION COMMERCIAL DRIVER’S LICENSE Miles Community College offers four start dates per year for the CDL program. The one-semester, 15-week CDL course requires approximately 8 weeks of mostly classroom instruction and 7 weeks of handon and behind the wheel instruction. Both classroom and behind the wheel instruction meets all FMCSA requirements. September 8 – December 17, 2021 October 27, 2021 – March 4, 2022 (with holiday break December 18-January 18)
January 19 – May 6, 2022 March 14 – June 24, 2022
PROGRAM COSTS The following are tuition and fee costs, based on residency, for the one-semester CDL course only. Total costs include tuition, mandatory fees, and a $975 per semester CDL Program fee. Additional program costs, at the expense of the student, may include DOT physical, pre-employment drug screening, Montana MVD CDL licensing fees, and textbooks. Students continuing into the second semester of the Basic Transportation Entrepreneurship Certificate will incur tuition and fee charges based on the courses selected to meet program requirements. Please contact the MCC Admissions Office or CDL Instructor for details.
