F
or decades, Christian and Ninon Völkers welcomed family and friends to their home, Son Coll, in Mallorca. Again and again, they saw how meaningful moments come of warmth, generosity, and effortless hospitality. Over time, a conviction took shape: this feeling should not be reserved for a private home. It could become the foundation of a hospitality concept in its own right.
T
his vision became The Völkers House. A natural evolution of the world they have built over decades, it is a place where hospitality is personal, where freedom matters more than formality, and where guests feel genuinely cared for without ever feeling directed.

The Völkers House is a privately owned country estate in southeast Mallorca, founded in 2018 by Christian and Ninon Völkers. Set across 61 acres (28 hectares), it combines contemporary architecture, Mallorcan heritage, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. Opening in summer 2026, The Völkers House offers a distinctive private retreat shaped by nature, design, and an unmistakable sense of place. Ideally located between Campos and Santanyí, it is just 32 minutes from Palma Airport, 14 minutes from Santanyí, 20 minutes from Platja des Trenc, and approximately 45 minutes from Palma city centre.

A
rchitecture, light, shadow, and landscape come together as one continuous composition at The Völkers House. Embedded in the natural landscape yet outstanding in its composition, the estate balances contemporary architecture with the heritage of Mallorca. Designed by Pritzker Prize laureate Richard Meier, its carefully framed views, changing light, and natural textures create a sense of harmony throughout the day.

he buildings also include an Equestrian Centre with Reception Hall, a Main Building featuring a Restaurant, Bar and Spa, a Grand Stand, and the historic Old Mill.
T
he Völkers House was designed by renowned New York architect Richard Meier, a Pritzker Prize laureate. The estate comprises four contemporary houses designed by Meier, complemented by two residences in traditional Mallorcan style.

he estate’s landscape has been conceived by Wirtz International and Breimann & Cie, integrating the architecture harmoniously into the surrounding Mallorcan landscape.

he interiors bring together the work of internationally acclaimed designers Tara Bernerd, Rockwell Group, and Joachim von Schönberg, creating a distinctive blend of contemporary design, craftsmanship, and Mediterranean character.

Effortlessly elegant and thoughtfully curated, the estate’s restaurant reflects a refined, vibrant spirit, rooted in Mallorcan heritage with a subtle Latin influence. Cooking is ingredient- led, centred on open fire, natural flavours, and seasonal produce from our kitchen garden, fishermen, and artisan partners. Dishes are completed in the kitchen, others unfold as long asados beneath the olive trees. At the bar, classic cocktails meet signatures inspired by place and people.
