Welcome to the captivating world of MIL-D-CON! We’re thrilled to present the first two parts of “The Battle of Square D,” a thrilling story by Bruce Richardson of 100 FSS Marketing.
This tale is inspired by two enigmatic Cold War events from the Tri-Base area: a CIA report on the Lakenheath Radar-Visual UFO Case from August 1956 and local history lore. With a touch of poetic license, Mr. Richardson masterfully weaves these historical elements with a modern narrative, featuring squadron heroes and RAF Mildenhall’s biggest event of the year.

Sgt Paul Meyer takes off unauthorized aiming to fly home to his wife in Virginia.
Sgt Paul Meyer was not seen again.
