Spring Kickoff Concert

The kickoff to the event season! We had warm weather with a street party and concert in downtown Castle Rock with bounce houses, live music, family activities, and food vendors.

Miss Colorado

Savannah Cavanaugh was crowned Miss Colorado 2022 on May 28 at The PACE Center in Parker. She will compete for the title of Miss America 2023.

High School Graduations

Congratulations Class of 2022! The local high schools all had their graduation ceremonies last month. Douglas County was in Echo Park Stadium and Castle View went to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Memorial Day

To help honor our fallen service members, the American Legion Post 1187 held a service honoring D.C. veterans at Cedar Hills Cemetery. Many such ceremonies were held around town.
