96 historic urbanisations Ordinance approved to allow the reception of

On Wednesday 25th, the Mijas Town Hall plenary session gave initial approval, with votes in favour from the government team and abstentions from the opposition, to the ordinance for the formal takeover of 96 historic urbanisations in the municipality. “This measure aims to guarantee equal services for all Mijas residents, regardless of where they live”, stated the government team. “It is not easy to provide services in the same way as those received by other residents in Mijas”, said the mayoress of Mijas, Ana Mata (PP), who clarified that this ordinance provides the “possibility of delivering those services”, which is why she considered this one of the most important items on the agenda.

The process for the new ordinance began in January with the mandatory public consultation, which remained open for fifteen working

days. As explained by the Town Hall in a press release, this prior public consultation complies with Article 133.1 of Law 39/2015 of 1 October on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations and has served “to identify the problems to be resolved; the necessity and timing of its approval; and possible alternative regulatory and non-regulatory solutions”.

There are a total of 96 historic urbanisations in the municipality that have not yet been adopted by the council. Therefore, this approval marks the path to ending the legal, administrative and economic uncertainty affecting both residents and the Mijas Town Hall itself. The spokesperson for the PP Municipal Group, Mario Bravo (PP), defended the ordinance, proposed by the Department of Infrastructure and Works, by explaining the origin of this long-standing issue: when these urbanisations were created, they were never officially accepted by

According

to the government team, the objectives of the ordinance are “to establish legal, economic and administrative certainty for all residents”

“I invite both you, as representatives of many residents, and the rest of the public to contribute to an ordinance that will be the first to provide clarity regarding the service that, as a public administration, we must provide to all residents equally”

“It also makes one important point clear: this is not a process that depends solely on the Town Hall; the urbanisations must also comply with a series of conditions that should have been met at the time”

the council. “That integration into municipal management has been flawed and incomplete; in practice, it has not existed. A developer must fulfil several obligations. The first is to complete the partial development plan, that is, to do everything they promised to do to obtain the licence; and secondly, to transfer the public roads, amenity plots, and

vision of services or the regulation of existing ones, such as utility payments, the bills for which are currently brought before the plenary with legal reservations. “I believe the most important part of this ordinance for you [Local Government] is the transitory provision, because it provides a legal tool enabling you to asphalt the roads and pay for electricity in the urbanisations without any objections”, noted PSOE councillor Laura Moreno She also requested an explanation as to where the 14 million euros required for maintenance would come from if the adoption were to take effect this year, as it is not reflected in the Town Hall budget. For its part, Cs also requested clarification on this “transitory provision” and stated that services can be provided even if the urbanisations are not officially adopted. They also opposed the administrative silence included in the ordinance. “We do not agree with a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach. Each urbanisation must be analysed case by case, adopting those that meet all requirements and have fulfilled their duties”, said the spokesperson, José Carlos Martín, who argued that administrative silence means that if “after six months no express resolution has been issued by the Town Hall, the urbanisation is automatically adopted”.

Legal guarantee

An oper door to change

The government team pointed out that “the lack of clarity regarding who must preserve and maintain roads, sewerage networks, water supply, street lighting or green spaces [in these urbanisations] represents an evident disadvantage to the residents of Mijas living in these areas, as they pay taxes for the same item, Property Tax (IBI) as those in the urban centres”.

“We do not agree with a ‘onesize-fits-all’ approach. Each urbanisation must be analysed case by case, adopting those that meet all requirements and have fulfilled their duties”

Reactions

The current takeover of these urbanisations would allow for the pro-

Bravo explained that administrative silence is “an obligation” imposed by the LISTA Act, that part of those 14 million euros is already being “spent” on electricity, repairs and other items. He stated that the ordinance regulates the entire procedure with legal guarantees, thus avoiding letters from the Tax Agency (Hacienda) like the one received by the Mijas Golf urbanisation regarding the benefit-in-kind subsidy “for the asphalting of Calle Bélgica”. Legal certainty was also highlighted by Vox, a partner in the government team. “This is important because it is the first time the foundations have been laid to resolve this situation in an orderly manner and with legal certainty”, emphasised the group’s spokesperson, Juan Carlos Cuevas Dawson “It also makes one important point

clear: this is not a process that depends solely on the Town Hall; the urbanisations must also comply with a series of conditions that should have been met at the time,” added the councillor, clarifying that the partial plan must be completed as originally designed and not according with current legislation.

Period for objections PMP, also part of the government team, welcomed the ordinance. In response to opposition criticism regarding the lack of information provided to homeowners’ associations, they explained that a period for objections will now open. “I agree with the PSOE spokesperson that all homeowners’ associations and their representatives should be fully aware of this ordinance, as it affects them directly.

In many cases, homeowners’ associations have been unable to bear the costs derived from the aforementioned works, leading to “unfavourable situations in the fields of health, the environment and road safety”, they added. “This has resulted in a progressive lack of basic urban services and a decline in the quality of their delivery; and it has prevented access to grants and aid to improve services and infrastructure”, they added in a press release. The formal adoption of the urbanisations will provide a legal framework so that the Town Hall can provide these services in the same way as is done in the urban centres.

matter of urgency, a budget

The Plenary approves, as a amendment of 18.49 million euros

The government team argues that this will enable them to speed up investments, settle debts and strengthen the Basic Income scheme with 4.5 million euros

The March plenary session, held on Wednesday 25th, gave the green light as a matter of urgency to a budget amendment of 18,490,682.72 euros drawn from the surplus. This is a measure which the councillor for Finance, Mario Bravo (PP), justified by stating that “we want each year to have its own expenditure, and for that expenditure to be implemented and accounted for within the year; for the first time, what we have done is replenish all these expenditures that have been incorporated into the various departments”.

The councillor explained that, once the 2025 budget had been settled, the Town Hall had made a double effort: on the one hand, to replenish funds used in previous financial years to pay overdue invoices and, on the other, to make new funds available to cover outstanding expenses. “As there are still some outstanding invoices from previous years, we have made new credit available to pay them”, explained Bravo. This budget amendment, which was passed with votes in favour from the government team (PP, Vox and Por Mi Pueblo) and votes against from the opposition (PSOE and Cs), comes before the plenary session as “an alternative source of funding”, according to Bravo, to bring forward investments initia-

THE ARGUMENTS OF THE GOVERNMENT TEAM

Bravo states that this comes before the plenary as “an alternative source of funding”

As the councillor for Economy and Finance explained during the plenary session, by using the treasury surplus to increase the budget, the Town Hall has the capacity to bring forward investments initially linked to the sale of two municipally-owned plots

lly linked to the sale of two municipal plots, “a process that is going well but will take a few more months to come to fruition, so we prefer to bring forward some investments as far as possible”, the councillor explained.

Budget items

This amendment will allow for an additional allocation of 4,530,000 euros to strengthen the Basic Income social programme. Furthermore, 2,125,287.04 euros will be allocated to investments related to the operation of the Local Police service (CCTV cameras). There are also plans to provide an additional allocation of 397,455.01

of land. This is, however, a process which, as Mario Bravo indicated, “is going well but will take a few months to come to fruition”. He therefore insisted that, with this budget amendment, the sale

euros for the provision of services under the Home Care programme, as well as 429,771.20 euros for sports facilities.

Furthermore, Bravo highlighted the allocation of 3.8 million euros for expropriations with the aim of settling other cases.

Criticism

From the opposition, the Socialist spokesperson Roy Pérez repeatedly denounced the government team’s “obscurantism” during his speech, claiming that the proposal was presented “at the last minute”. The councillor criticised the fact that most of the expenditure should have been included in the

annual budget. “This demonstrates”, according to Pérez, “the low level of political integrity of this government team and their lack of respect for residents. They are the least transparent government in the history of this municipality. These are all current expenses that should have been included in the budget”.

For his part, the Ciudadanos spokesperson at the Mijas Town Hall, José Carlos Martín, questioned the measure, noting that “we are starting the year as we ended it, with a budget amendment of over 18 million euros when the annual budget was approved just a month ago. What has hap-

pened? Where has the planning gone wrong?”. Martín criticised the government team’s financial planning and warned that many of the items could, according to him, become “fixed expenditure”. Furthermore, he emphasised that the Comptroller’s report is unfavourable and requested clarification on various expropriations linked to urban development projects.

Response

In his reply, Bravo defended the government team’s actions, assuring that this was not a case of improvisation, but rather the regularisation of “pending matters” inherited from previous financial years. “It is not a lack of respect; we do not intend to deceive anyone. These are pending matters and cannot be included in the budgets”. The councillor for Finance explained that spending cap restrictions prevent the surplus from being used directly in the budget, forcing the council to make amendments during the financial year.

Bravo insisted that the sale of municipal plots has not been abandoned, but that the decision has been made to bring forward funding due to the slowness of the process. Finally, he announced that “we have left a second use of the surplus for next month, which will include all those works and investments that you [the opposition] are calling for”.

The proposal highlights the use of 18.49 million euros from the Treasury Surplus for various purposes, including an additional allocation of 4,530,000 euros to reinforce the ‘Renta Básica’ (Basic Income) social programme. According to the councillor for Finance, “the beach maintenance contract will be put out to tender shortly, but in the meantime, it is necessary to have people working on this. ‘Renta Básica’ has been responsible for the maintenance of our beaches over the last few years and we are fully satisfied with their work, but it is true that it may be better to hire a specialised company that possesses the ideal machinery for these tasks”.

In this regard, the councillor for Finance stated that “we have these over two million euros from the surplus available for this matter, and when the plots are sold, that income will be accounted for” will be allocated to the improvement of sports facilities.

On the one hand, there will be cameras dedicated to Public Safety, which will be used for crime prevention and the protection of individuals, property and public heritage; on the other hand, traffic control cameras will be installed to identify vehicles, monitor mobility, and support police investigations where necessary. The objective, among others, is to improve the response capacity of the Local Police.

According to the councillor, “both the Urban Planning and Heritage departments have worked together to settle outstanding compulsory purchase payments dating back to 2022”.

The Mijas Town Hall has created a new public-private tourism board aimed at integrating the business sector into joint strategic decision-making. Key aspects such as destination promotion and planning, and joint projects, will form the core of this initiative, which will be known as Mijas Lab-Tourism Cluster. will be held for Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía, Arturo Bernal; the councillor for Tourism, Francisco Jerez (Vox); and the secretary general for Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía, Yolanda de Aguilar, presided over the launch of the forum.

“It is intended to be permanent and, above all, has two very clear objectives: for us to be a leading municipality in the tourism sector and to provide employment opportunities for those living in our municipality”, highlighted Ana Mata. Meanwhile, the councillor for Tourism emphasised that “this meeting will also enable us to gather the demands of each sector,

every two months in different locations and will analyse the tourism reality of the municipality

all with a view to seeking solutions with the relevant authorities”.

For his part, the Andalusian minister for Tourism applauded the Town Hall’s initiative to apply “cogovernance” in this area, “calling upon the professionals who are the heart, soul and smile of everything that happens in tourism, so they too can take decisions alongside

the administration regarding the municipality’s tourism policy”.

Promotion and planning Mijas Lab-Tourism Cluster will serve as a place for proposals and analysis of the tourism reality of Mijas, as well as its strengths and weaknesses. IIt will be held every two months in different locations and will be the link between the public institution and private initiative to prioritise needs and projects that strengthen the attraction of visitors, the improvement of segments and the attraction of investment.

THE MAYORESS, ANA MATA (PP), EXPLAINED THAT THE FORUM “IS INTENDED TO BE A PERMANENT INITIATIVE and has two very clear objectives: that we become a leading municipality in the tourism sector and that there is an opportunity for employability for those who live in our municipality”

According to Mata, it will also be the appropriate forum for the discussion and organisation of Mijas’ various attractions, such as Holy Week, the fairs, the carnival, or sporting or unique events, where the tourism approach must also incorporate the private business vision in terms of original proposals or orientation towards specific tourist markets.

The operation of Mijas Lab will include an agenda with current issues relating to the tourism sector, as well as proposals put forward by the business community concerning the tourism industry in the municipality.

The progress of the works at the Regino Hernández Sports Complex in Las Lagunas is now a reality. The Public Sector Contracting Platform has published the final contract award for the expansion works to the company Servimar 2008 SLU, which will have a tenmonth execution period. Indeed, the two-month reduction in the completion timeframe compared to the original tender was “the improvement” submitted by the successful bidder, explained the councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Juan José Torres Trella (PP), who stated that the project has a budget of 4,833,775.76 euros, including VAT. “We hope that works will begin shortly, as the contract has now been formalised”, affirmed Torres Trella, adding that they will meet with the company every Wednesday.

The project includes the completion of the multi-purpose building (for sports and administrative use), the construction of the therapeutic swimming pool –in a separate but adjoining building–a children’s playground and the necessary access points to the infrastructure, as well as changing rooms and a central distribution plaza.

The main entrance to the buildings will be via a main front gate with direct access from Camino

Internal circulation within the building itself will be provided via open staircases and a lift. Furthermore, the multi-purpose building will feature a protected staircase to ensure compliance with eva-

cuation routes, connecting all floors and providing access to the roof level.

Parking

The basement level, which encompasses the entire multi-purpose building, the central plaza and part of the swimming pool building, will have vehicle access to the

parking area (23 standard spaces plus 3 accessible spaces), as well as electric vehicle charging points.

This floor is completed by a large area designated for ancillary facilities.

The ground floor will house the main entrance lobbies, changing rooms and administration offices. To streamline pedestrian flow and avoid unnecessary crowding, a connecting door is planned from the football pitch perimeter fence, allowing direct access to the

changing rooms without passing through the central plaza.

Therapeutic swimming pool

Access to the new therapeutic swimming pool will be via a direct connection from the plaza. Accessible toilets and changing rooms will be provided on the ground floor. The roof will feature beams mimicking wood to facilitate maintenance and will be arranged transversely, with a large longitudinal window allowing natural light to enter the premises.

The entire exterior development, as well as connections to existing buildings and public roads, will consist of wide pathways that comply with mandatory accessibility regulations.

Regarding safety, evacuation routes and appropriate equipment have been installed to ensure control and facilitate fire extinguishing, as well as the transmission of alarms to users. The outdoor area immediately adjacent to the building meets the requirements for fire service intervention.

The sports complex, named after the Olympic snowboard medallist from Mijas, Regino Hernández, was built in 1991 and also comprises two football pitches, a multi-sports and services building with a gym, a heated indoor swimming pool, stands, and outdoor courts.

water supply renewal in El Coto and Doña Pilar

The Mijas Town Hall is to carry out an immediate and comprehensive renovation of the water supply infrastructure in the neighbourhoods of El Coto and Doña Pilar, thereby improving the quality and reliability of the service. Specifically, the works involve replacing the current fibre-cement pipes with new ductile iron pipes of a larger diameter –and therefore greater capacity–across a total of ten streets in both neighbourhoods.

The contract for the works has already been awarded to VGC Global S.L. for a sum of 650,000

the works amounts to 650,000 euros, with an execution period of three months The cost of

euros and a completion period of three months. “Work will begin in that area in less than a month, so everything must be ready before the summer”, said the councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Juan José Torres Trella (PP), who reported that the renovation will impact fundamental aspects such as “improved service reliability, greater inherent resistance to internal pressures and thermal changes, better use of available resources, and better control of the quality of the water supplied”. “These are very old pipes which suffered from low pressure and frequent bursts. In addition to replacing them, the road surface and pavement damaged by the works will be restored, and all manholes will be new. Fire hydrants will also be installed”, added the councillor.

Doña Pilar

Specifically, in the Doña Pilar residential area, the scope of the works focuses on Hernán Cortés, Alejandro Malaspina, Francisco Pizarro, Fernando de Magallanes, Juan Sebastián Elcano, and Pedro Valdivia streets. Due to the age of the current network, and with the aim of minimising breakdowns and preventing leaks, a new ductile iron distribu-

El Coto

Regarding the works in El Coto, the tasks will be carried out on Rebeco, El Corzo, Urogallo, and Codornices streets. The current fibre-cement pipes will be replaced by a new network of ductile iron pipes with diameters of 100 and 150 millimetres. As in the case of Doña Pilar, work will involve the opening and backfilling of trenches, installation of new pipes, replacement of service connections, and installation of valves on branch lines. The network has a length of 1,609.89 linear metres, and the route was likewise chosen to reduce losses and crossings. Torres Trella reported that 104 domestic service connections will be installed following Acosol’s regulations for the supply of drinking water.

be reinforced during departments

There will be extraordinary support from 50 Local Police officers and the activation of all Fire Brigade resources

The Town Hall has activated a special operation for Holy Week in which the Local Police, Civil Protection, the Fire Brigade, and the Street Cleaning Service will participate in a coordinated manner. The objective is to guarantee the normal development of events and the safety of residents and visitors across the three centres of the municipality. The councillor for the Local Police, Juan Carlos Cuevas Dawson (Vox), explained on Thursday 26th that “a specific operation has been designed which will be active from Palm Sunday until Easter Sunday, with the aim of guaranteeing mobility and safety during all scheduled events”.

In this regard, the Chief of the Local Police, Juan Manuel Rosas detailed that “the service consists of the ordinary staff of 261 officers, which will be reinforced by 50 officers on an extraordinary basis at the times and on the days when the largest crowds are expected”. Cuevas Dawson underlined that “this allows for an increased police presence at key moments, especially in Mijas Pueblo, where much of the activity will be con-

centrated and where the shuttle bus will be fundamental to alleviate traffic and facilitate access”.

He also added that “specific operations will be established along the processional routes to guarantee that they proceed normally”.

Civil Protection and Fire Brigade

For his part, the councillor for Civil Protection and the Fire Brigade, Francisco Jerez (Vox), highlighted that “the operation provides for the activation of all necessary resources to act quickly in the face of any eventuality, with teams deployed at the events with the highest attendance and in permanent coordination with the rest of the services”. He also noted that “the planning allows us to anticipate possible risk situations and offer an effective response at all times”.

Regarding the firefighting service, Jerez stated that “the Mijas Fire Brigade will remain fully operational during these days, guaranteeing the capacity to respond to any emergency intervention and providing support at

events with a large concentration of people”. Additionally, he added that “constant vigilance and coordination with the rest of the services will be maintained to act with maximum effectiveness if necessary”.

The Town Hall will launch a special shuttle bus service in Mijas Pueblo, operating from Friday of Sorrows until Easter Sunday, with the aim of facilitating access and avoiding traffic and parking problems at the entrances to the village.

This service will run uninterrupted during extended hours and will connect the area of the El Puerto Quarry with the town centre, allowing for more agile and safe mobility during the busiest days. Furthermore, public transport connections with the rest of the municipality will be reinforced.

Cuevas Dawson insisted that “the use of public transport is fundamental to guarantee the fluidity of traffic and the correct development of the events; therefore, we encourage both residents and visitors to make use of the shuttle bus”. In parallel, the

Bulgarian town, Gorna Oryahovitsa, offers cultural twinning partnership to our town

The objective is to strengthen cooperation ties between both municipalities

Luque

“The Bulgarian people want to continue strengthening ties with Mijas”. This was the emphatic statement made by the councillor for Foreigners, Mario Bravo (PP), during the presentation on Thursday 26th, also attended by the mayoress of Mijas, Ana Mata (PP), regarding the potential twinning of our municipality with the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa in central Bulgaria. Following two previous collaboration agreements with various cities in that country, on this occasion, it is this Bulgarian town that has proposed a cultural twinning with Mijas.

The agreement is facilitated by the Estrella Bulgarian-Spanish

Cultural Centre, which acts as a bridge between the two cultures. Its manager, Petya Evtimova, brought the proposal to Mijas.

“We are very grateful to be able to work alongside the Mijas Town Hall once again, as we already have a long history of collaboration. We are now here to propose this twinning initiative, which we hope to establish with this Bulgarian town next May”, she stated.

The agreement aims to foster economic, social and cultural relations between the two towns, creating the necessary conditions for the development of joint projects and the exchange of experiences. Key areas of cooperation include the economy, technological innovation, environmental protection, tourism and urban development. One of the pillars of the agreement is the promotion of tourism.

According to Bravo, “Mijas is very popular in Bulgaria and, following visits from several delegations and agreements with cities

in that country, we today have this new twinning request. This agreement involves the intention to share the culture, customs, cuisi-

C.Luque / C.Bejarano. The 3rd Circus Market will run from the 10th to the 12th of April with a packed programme of activities. It will be a meeting place for families, who will be able to enjoy shows, workshops, a children’s area, and food and craft stalls.

The market will open on Friday at 17:30 hours with a grand parade. On that day, there will be a mask-making workshop, an air clown performance, and a belly dance and fire show at 21:00 hours.

According to Leandro Rosa, director of Malik Culture, the company organising the event, “this is a market specifically de-

dicated to families, with a strong focus on children. There will be around 30 stalls and many activities for children. This year we will once again have the three craft markets in Mijas”.

According to the councillor responsible for Public Spaces, Melisa Ceballos (PP), “we have chosen this theme, which is great fun. We want entire fa-

Town Hall emphasised that these types of alliances strengthen the municipality’s international presence and open up new opportunities for economic and cultural development, consolidating Mijas as a benchmark for municipal cooperation.

According to the councillor, “we are very proud to attract the attention of so many European cities and towns. Furthermore, Mijas has grown because it has always wanted to share all the good things it has with those who have come to visit us, and tourists have taken the best of the town back to their homes. This is further proof that we are moving in the right direction and we are going to continue growing in this way, not only

through the local population but also through all those who come to Mijas and decide to stay and live with us. We are becoming greater every day and we hope to be a little better every day”.

Finally, Evtimova noted that “this town is in the centre of Bulgaria, 250 kilometres from the capital. It is a town with 45,000 inhabitants, very well developed in terms of its railway, social and cultural industries. It is also notable for hosting many festivals throughout the year”.

The signing of the twinning agreement is scheduled for May, and a delegation from Mijas will travel to that town to formalise the partnership and participate in the local festivities.

returns to service Coastal Path section destroyed by storms

The reconstruction works cost 223,000 euros and involved piling, rock armour protection and the securing of the walkway

The section of the Coastal Path that was destroyed by the force of the storms in January and February in the El Capricho area has entered into service this Tuesday 24th, following the completion of reconstruction works, which lasted approximately three weeks.

Specifically, this was a linear section of around 40 metres that already had to be closed to the public from the moment the initial damage was detected in mid-January. In early February, the constant pounding of the sea tore the section from its fixings, and it was necessary to process an emergency contract, which was published on the State Procurement Portal on the 25th of February.

The works were awarded to the company VGC Global SL for a sum of 223,000 euros and, once completed, have resulted in the reinforcement of the foundations with wooden piles. The mayoress of Mijas, Ana Mata (PP), visited the area on Tues-

The Foreigners Department offers a talk on tax systems to residents

The company Skybound delivered the presentation

C.L./N.L. On the 25th, the Foreigners Department organised a new talk in La Cala for the foreign resident community. On this occasion, the Town Hall collaborated with professionals from the company Skybound Wealth Management and addressed tax matters, financial planning, and issues relating to property or inheritance, with the aim of offering accurate and accessible information on this subject to the international community.

The talk sought to clarify the complexities of international tax systems to avoid costly errors arising from double taxation. The technical seminar, which was conducted in English, focused on the challenges faced by residents with pensions in the UK, properties in other countries or income in currencies other than the euro.

According to Katja Thirion, a technician in the Department, these meetings “normally address topics

Our residents were also demanding a swift solution since many locals come to walk the Coastal Path daily for health reasons, and the closed sections made it impassable”.

such as visas or finances because some residents think that simply by having residency in Spain they only have to file tax returns here, but that is not always the case. Sometimes, they also have tax obligations to their countries of origin”.

For his part, Peter Smith, a financial planner at the company Skybound Wealth Management and one of the speakers, stated that “we’re simply going to talk about what it’s like to live in Spain and how to optimise things according to each person’s personal situation, financial planning or what many people want to know: tax and residency issues”.

Works

The works consisted of the complete dismantling of the wooden walkway on the affected section; the clearing of the ground; the driving of wooden piles to a depth of at least one metre below sea level; the protection of these piles with rock armour below the sand level; the assembly of the wooden structure, dec-

The La Cala Lions to once again host the Waiters’ Race

It will take place this Saturday 28th in collaboration with the Foreigners Department

M.F. This Saturday 28th, the La Cala Lions Club, in collaboration with the Mijas Foreigners Department, is organising the charming and entertaining Waiters’ Race on Calle Torreón, starting at 15:00 hours. There will also be a market and children’s workshops in Plaza del Torreón from 11:00 hours, and prizes and medals will be awarded to the winning waiters, those who are able to walk quickly without spilling “a single drop”. Furthermore, as is the case on the last Saturday of every month, the Foreigners Department’s Solidarity Tables will be set up on the 28th outside the La Cala Town Hall Branch. On this occasion, the event will feature a performance by the Costa Soul Singers choir starting at 12 noon. The aim is to create a festive atmosphere and encourage the public to purchase products from these stalls for charitable purposes.
