WELCOME In the year 2018 New Orleans celebrates the Tricentennial of its founding. It is a time to reflect on our past and consider our future. Through difficult times, New Orleans persists, developing a fortitude and character all her own.

This sentiment reflects my journey as a designer, starting and growing my company, and guiding my creative team for nearly 50 years. Personally, this is a time in my life to renew my commitment to creating original, wearable art that satisfies and honors the materials and references the history and environment of a place.

My new collection, Crescent, captures the elegance and whimsy of the Crescent City in gold and silver designs that draw from our unique water meter cover. This celestial collection presents an elevated interpretation of this icon of New Orleans. These versatile pieces can be mixed in a custom grouping that suits your personal style. Here at Mignon Faget, Ltd. these fun pieces have created a lot of excitement.

2017 has been a busy year for my company.

We have built a beautiful new gallery at the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge. This achievement and several exciting developments at our studio in New Orleans are largely due to the determination of my excellent team. I thank them for their hard work and the energy they bring to Mignon Faget, Ltd. On our first wedding anniversary, he gave me the whole set of the Mignon Faget Tulips collection on pearls. It's still my most favorite from him 17 years later. #MignonMemories @rachelb0905 My first collection was the Fleur de Lis. I always give the special people in my life Mignon Faget. She has been my favorite designer since I found her jewelry in the 90's. The Fleur de Lis necklace I gave my mother was the only jewelry she requested to be buried in besides her wedding ring. It was her way to keep me with her.

@jenniferrockhold My first first piece of Mignon Faget jewelry was given to me as a Christmas present well over 20 years ago by a dear friend who passed away a few years ago unexpectedly. It was the beautiful sterling silver Vine ring. My gift to him that year was a box of chocolate covered cherries. I still have my ring and wear it everyday. #MignonMemories @dcintron23 My Navy boyfriend and I started dating in 2010.

During our first deployment in 2012, he sent me a $300 gift card to Mignon Faget for Valentine's Day since he couldn't be there to pick something out for me. Every year, I've used this card on Valentine's Day to buy a new necklace or ring. However, this summer I used the exact same gift card to purchase our wedding flutes. It still has $2 left on it, and we're thinking about putting more on it for our first married Valentine's Day…5 years later. #MignonMemories

The moon is very significant in my family…wherever we are in the world, we can always look at the moon and know that the ones we love are looking at the same moon. Inspired by the New Orleans water meter cover, the Crescent Collection pays homage to this iconic symbol of the Crescent City with its modern and effortlessly elegant design. Incorporating moonstone, sterling silver and Swarovski pearls, the collection evokes the night sky’s minimal color palette.

Mf. AT HOME Mf. at Home began with a collection of dinnerware for the 1984 World Exposition.

From there, Mignon Faget was continuously inspired to design pieces that she would want in her own home.

FROM THE ARCHIVES

It’s been 48 years since Mignon Faget opened her atelier on Dublin Street in New Orleans Riverbend neighborhood. Since then many things have changed for the brand, but one detail that never changes is Mignon’s exacting attention to her galleries. On July 1st, a new 1,200 square foot gallery opened in Baton Rouge at the Mall of Louisiana. The new gallery features recent collections that were designed specifically for Baton Rouge thus highlighting the brands Louisiana ties. All of the jewelry is displayed in antique apothecary cases that have been in the Faget family since the 1800’s. Reminiscent of the Dublin Street era Mignon was on hand to greet her collectors on opening day.

Each design is shipped in a tarnish preventive pouch with care instructions in a Mignon Faget gift box with ribbon and gift card.
