RAVEENA TANDON RESPONDS TO TROLLS WHO QUESTION HER PADMA SHRI WIN

Actress Raveena Tandon was recently feted with India's fourth highest civilian honour, Padmi Shri, at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi for her contribution to Indian cinema. However, a section of Internet users trolled the actress questioning the win. Now the actress has responded to the trolls saying that she will choose silence as she doesn't want to give any importance to them.

Hitting back at the trolls the actress said that she is not bothered about people with a following of not more than 20 as they come with their own agenda. She said: "I don't want to give any importance to them as they have their own agenda. The comments of a few, who have 20 followers and haven't seen the work that I have done, will not diminish my body of work."

The actress further said: "They only see the glamour; they don't see the hard work and long hours we put in. We know how polarised things are on social media today, but others have sent such beautiful (wishes)."

Talking about the Padma awards ceremony, the actress and her family attended the gilded ceremony which was graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's picture from the gym has gone viral on social media and the comments are hilarious. In the image, Salman is seen flaunting his quads dressed in black shorts, fitted T-shirt and a white coloured hand towel on his head.

A meme page even drew parallel between Salman's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' to the Nun from the 'Conjuring' universe.

As they called it: "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Nun.'

PREITY VISITS KAMAKHYA TEMPLE AFTER STAYING UP ALL NIGHT, FEELS 'PEACE &CALM'

Actress Preity Zinta visited Kamakhya temple in Guwahati after having a delayed flight and staying up all night. She said it all seemed worth it once she entered the temple.

Preity took to Instagram, where she shared a video of pictures and videos she took in the temple area. Dressed in a powder pink Indian wear, Preity covered her head and wore a face mask as she entered the temple. The video features a glimpse of the temple and a pond. She took several selfies from inside the complex.

The actress captioned the post: "One of my reasons to go to Guwahati was to visit the famous Kamakhya Devi temple. Even though our flight was delayed for several hours & I was up all night, it all seemed worth it once I entered the temple. I felt such powerful vibrations when I went there & a sense of peace n calm."

Preity was recently seen at the ongoing IPL. She was cheering for her team Punjab Kings, which was playing against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Filmmaker Karan Johar is currently making headlines over his old comment about wanting to "murder" Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma's career.

An old video clip went viral on social media, and a slew of personalities including filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, Kangana Ranaut and others reacted to it.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Karan shared a Hindi poem changing some words for the situation.

"Laga lo ilzaam, hum jhuknewaalonmein se nahi.., jhoot ka ban jaoghulam...., hum bolnewaalonmein se nahi..., jitnaneechadikhaoge..., jitne aarop lagaoge..., hum girnewaalonmein se nahi..., humarakaramhumari Vijay hai...aaputha lo talvaar... Hum marnewaalonmein se nahi," he wrote. Karan confessed to trying to sabotage Anushka Sharma's Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The clip dates back to a week prior to the release of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', starring Anushka in the lead along with Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

He is then seen apologising to Anushka.

JAMMU FILM FESTIVAL OPENS, FEATURES MOVIES FROM 11 COUNTRIES

The third edition of the Jammu Film Festival, sponsored by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department, began with a grand opening at Abhinav Theatre here on Saturday.

The festival featured parallel screenings of 25 feature films, short films and documentaries from countries including Iran, India, France and the US. The opening section of the festival showcased short films and a documentary from countries such as Iran, India, France and the US. These included Nahid, KavKav, Fatih the Conqueror, Sandhanam and Liturgy of Anti-Tank Obstacles. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Director Tourism Jammu, Vivekanand Rai.

Vivekanand Rai praised the festival for promoting tourism in Jammu and Kashmir and providing a platform for filmmakers to showcase their talent. The festival features screenings of 50 feature films, short films and documentaries from 11 countries and will run until April 9. In addition to the screenings, the festival will also host side events such as panel discussions, a red-carpet event, a culture showcase and a painting exhibition.
