COMMENCEMENT SPE A K ER Elizabeth Ambriz, MED

Elizabeth Ambriz is graduating with a Master’s of Education in Leadership, Teaching, and Learning with an English as a Second Language Endorsement.

She has been teaching for 12 years and is currently a Spanish teacher at Omaha Burke High School. While growing up in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and Lexington, Nebraska, Elizabeth’s parents taught her the value of education and personal growth. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in Spanish and ESL, and wants to continue working in the classroom and making a difference in her students’ lives, whether that is learning Spanish or English as a second language. Elizabeth would like to someday take a leadership role within the school and is looking forward to her continued growth as an educator.
