For33-year-oldMagin, afourtimes seniorbestandfairestwiththeTigerssince joiningtheclubin2015,itwas afarcry fromwhenherepresentedQueensandin underagefootballandwentontoplayfour seniorgameswithEssendon.

Atrulyskilledandversatileplayer, Maginkicked75goalsfortheTigersthis seasontofinishsecondontheBendigo Leaguegoalkicking;andimportantly, hedevotedtimeandefforttocoachthe KynetonUnder18sand“putin”tohelpthe youngplayerslearnandrespectthegame.

ProlificballwinnerDeanBartrop,formerlywithTullamarine,cappedoff afine seasonbywinningtheTigers’seniorfootballbestandfairest,whiledominantand versatileBrookeManganwas arunaway winnerintheA-gradenetballcount.

Thisawardisbasedontheseason(not day)andgoestosomeonewhoshows leadership,spirit,commitment,character –adedicatedandinspiringyoungperson whoshowsattributesmuchlikeTrentham did.JacobGlassonwasthe2022winner.

ThiswasthefirsttimetheKDFChad upgradeditsendofyearnighttoCrown Aviary.

HighlyskilledutilityplayerCoreyPertzel(pictured)haswonRomseyFootballClub’ssenior bestandfairest.Pertzel,whokickedover100 goalsin aseasonwithTrenthamjuniors,has been abigimproverfortheRedbacks,signing upfor2023,withtheclubhopinghecantake hisfootballtoanevenhigherlevel.

Romseymadethefinalsbutsufferedthrough injuriestotopplayersduringtheseason.
