The Permian Basin has now hosted Maddy’s artwork several times in various exhibitions, including the Downtown Farmers Market and the newly launched Midland Art Crawl.
Maddy often draws inspiration from the people and things she loves which is why for this particular exhibition she chose to focus on “a dog’s vision”. While Maddy has no dogs of her own (for now) she is surrounded by furry friends whom she loves and spoils. She has been fascinated by the research behind “a dog’s vision” and has chosen to explore dog portraits as seen through their own eyes.
