Established on March 23, 1923, the chapter has been influential in Kansas City and beyond. The festivities started with a public forum honoring distinguished individuals who have contributed significantly to their respective fields. Among the esteemed speakers were Mrs. Qiana Thomason, President and CEO of Health Forward Foundation, Mr. Bob Kendrick, President of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the Honorable Fernando J. Gaitan Jr., and Mr. Ollie Gates, CEO of Gates Bar B-Q. Their inspiring speeches resonated with attendees, emphasizing the importance of leadership, community engagement, and the pursuit of excellence.
To highlight the rich heritage of the chapter, a historical exhibition was hosted at the esteemed Black Archives of Mid-America This captivating display allowed visitors to delve into the chapter's past, showcasing its pivotal role in promoting educational advancement, fostering brotherhood, and uplifting the African American community
A Diamond Friday party held at the elegant Epicurean brought together current and former members of the Kansas City Alumni Chapter The evening was filled with laughter, reminiscences, and renewed bonds of brotherhood as attendees celebrated the fraternity's enduring legacy.
