April 2025
We are heading out to venues across the area to meet you!
Senior staff will update you on local and area-wide projects, and they’ll hear your questions. You will also hear what is planned for the 2025-26 financial year and how you can have your say on those plans.
As well as providing you with updates, these conversations are an important way for us to hear from you about the things that matter to your community. They are also a chance to meet your Councillors.
To make sure everyone can get involved, we’ll be visiting several locations during May and June.

Have your say on our plans for 2025-26
Roads, financial sustainability and customer experience are the top priorities for this term of our elected Council.
Our Delivery Program 2025-2029 and Operational Plan 2025-2026 sets out how we aim to deliver on these priorities to our community.
The Delivery Program shows what Councillors plan to achieve during their four-year term. It explains what they will focus on and how they will fund these things.
The Operational Plan shows what they will do this coming financial year and what this will cost, including our annual budget and our fees and charges.
Head to our website and have your say between 2 May and 6 June 2025. Our focus areas are:
informed Follow our Have Your Say site to get notifications on opportunities to provide feedback on our plans and projects.
Increased parking enforcement in our town centres. To help ensure safer, fairer access to shopping areas and services, you'll see more parking officers around our CBDs, school zones and beaches. This increase is in response to community requests. Make sure you check the signs when choosing to stop or park. Make sure to display your 4WD beach access permit if you plan to drive on any of our vehicle accessible beaches.

If you haven't taken advantage of our free Bulky Waste collection, make your booking before 30 June. Our bookable service gives you the flexibility to dispose of your bulky household and scrap metal items when it's most convenient for you.
Eligible households can book one free collection per year (July - June), so what are you waiting for?
Scan the QR code for more information and to book. You'll also find all the guidelines for placing waste out for collection to make sure your waste is collected, not rejected.
