Här finns tid att slå sig ner en stund. Lina Schnaufer är illustratören och formgivaren som gärna skapar mönster med en person i åtanke. Vad hade denna person varit tolkad i ett mönster? Favoritblommorna, fotot du sparade för ett halvt liv sedan, ett par omsorgsfulla, rynkiga händer… här gör Lina en djupdykning i sin farfar Ewalds trädgård. Hon utforskar även barndomsminnen och försöker gestalta den komplexitet av växter och liv som förenas mellan dåtid och nutid. I Linas mönster hittar du ofta den välbekanta floran - men med en tvist. För att finna de mest intressanta linjerna och uttrycken jobbar Lina ofta utan referenser. Att enbart förhålla sig till en inre sinnebild av en viss blomma eller växtlighet skapar en egen tolkning av denna. Ibland landar Lina långt ifrån dess faktiska utseende, men ändå - nära sig själv och alltid med ett personligt förhållningssätt. Lina Schnaufer är verksam illustratör och formgivare med bas i Göteborg. Där driver hon sitt eget företag sedan examen från designprogrammet vid Högskolan för Design & Konsthantverk, 2017. Detta är hennes andra tapetkollektion. Mönsterrapporten ser hon som en gnutta magi, där litet snabbt kan bli stort och där de minsta av nyansskiftningar kan förändra känslan i ett helt hem. Lina Schnaufer is the illustrator and designer that loves to create patterns with someone special in mind. What would this person look like in the form of a pattern? Their favorite flowers, the photograph from another lifetime, the caring wrinkled hands... The collection Lina II is a deep exploration of her grandfather Ewald’s garden. She also explores childhood memories and tries to illustrate the complexity of greenery and life that unite past and present. You’ll find the familiar plants and flowers in Lina’s pattern – but with a twist. Lina often works without references to find the most interesting lines and expressions. Working from the mind’s eye creates a personal interpretation. Sometimes the result is far away from the actual flower but close to its spirit. Lina Schnaufer is an illustrator and designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She has been working as a freelancer since graduating from the Gothenburg school of Design & Crafts in 2017. This is her second wallpaper collection. She sees patterns as a form of magic where perspectives can shift, and small details can change the impression of an entire room.
