OVERVIEW
No other city will surprise like Baltimore - from the largest public holding of Henri Matisse in the world and the nation’s largest museum dedicated to self-taught artists to beloved attractions like the National Aquarium at the Inner Harbor to a craft brewery located in the sanctuary of a historic church and Four-Star hotels with incredible views.
WHAT’S NEW
Hilton opened Canopy Baltimore at Harbor Point in October 2020. Targeting vibrant, culturally rich neighborhoods in select cities across the U.S., this hotel brand showcases Baltimore as a colorful, diverse waterfront destination. Business travelers will find secure meeting spaces for up to 100 people, including a private restaurant space and an outdoor terrace. The hotel offers groups choices for both indoor and outdoor entertainment and their public spaces double as galleries with original pieces curated from celebrated local artists.

This performance-based accreditation program helps facilities demonstrate they have the work practices, procedures and protocols to prepare, respond and recover from outbreaks and pandemics to instill confidence in customers, staff and key stakeholders.

GBAC is a division of the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA), the worldwide cleaning industry association. The Baltimore Convention Center already has completed the program and is an accredited facility.
LOOKING AHEAD
Outdoor or hybrid indoor-outdoor venues will be more popular than ever as more professionals begin participating in face-to-face meetings again. Baltimore is lucky to have a wide variety of outdoor dining and event spaces along the scenic and walkable Inner Harbor waterfront.
The city even has a water taxi, which makes safer open-air transportation a reality for meeting attendees who want to explore downtown and historic neighborhoods while doing business in Baltimore.
