POPPIN’ GOOD TIME!

Ages 6 and older

Learn how to make the best popcorn possible. Youth will receive a bag of home-grown popcorn while experiencing new herbs and spices to create a healthy topping for their popcorn.

BACKYARD BIRD ZONE

June 6 | 1-3pm or 3-5pm

Ages 8 and older

Decorate your own backyard display for birds to dine al fresco. You just might have a squirrel stop by for a quick bite.

COWBOY 101

June 13 | 1-3pm or 3-5pm

Brody Cleveland | $25

Ages 6 and older

Learn the basics of roping from local rodeo greats. Lasso up for a good time and take home a rope to show off your new skills.

FABRIC SCRAP ROPE BOWL

June 13 | 1-3pm or 3-5pm

Ages 6 and older

Youth will learn to make a fabric rope bowl. Students will need to bring at least 2 yards of cotton or cotton blend coordinating fabrics. Scraps work great for this project.

LET’S GO FLY A KITE

June 20 | 1-3pm or 3-5pm

Ages 6 and older

Learn about kites and create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Read a story, build a kite and see how high it can fly!

Ages 12 and older

Not a big vegetable eater? Learn to make sushi rolls and spring rolls while increasing the amount and kinds of vegetables to enjoy. Learn the basics of creating Chinese and Vietnamese rolls and experiment with new foods. Included foods: rice, nori papers, avocado, sticky rice, shrimp, salmon, sesame seeds, lime zest, coconut milk and more.

PICASSO PEACE FLOWER ART

June 27 | 1-3pm or 3-5pm

Ages 6 and older

Learn about artist Pablo Picasso and create a flower art piece. Participants are urged to wear something to bring out his/her messy, artistic side.

ON-THE-GO GAME BAG

Students will make their own on-the-go game bag as they create two games that can be played anywhere by oneself or with a friend.

DISCOVER SCUBA

Learn about the world that lives below the water after donning special scuba gear.

TINY TREASURE

Create a mystical world inside a hanging globe. Whether it’s fairies or mushrooms, think tiny!

TRUE TO THE RED, WHITE & BLUE

Ages 6 and older

Show off your American pride as you learn the history of Old Glory and how to honor it. Paint a wooden American flag wall hanging to take home.
