Learn about the benefits of recycling and make a bird feeder from recycled plastic.

PAINT & PLANT

Ages 7-13

Wild West Soap Box Derby Association members will instruct on the ins and outs of how a soap box derby car works. Participants will get to strap on a helmet and take a ride down the official derby track. Class will be held at the Wild West Soap Box Derby Track 1402 N. Spruce St

FUN WITH TANGRAMS

Do you like puzzles? If so, join the fun in using the tangram. During this workshop we will read a story and use the tangram to create animals. Each participant will get a tangram set to take home.

AMERICAN PRIDE

Learn the importance of flag etiquette and then paint a wooden American flag to display.

GOLFING BASICS

DISCOVER SCUBA

Don special gear and learn about the sport of scuba. Have fun breathing underwater and looking for treasures!

BEGINNING CAKE DECORATING

Learn basic cake decorating skills using butter cream frosting and beginning decorating techniques. Youth are encouraged to bring at least one star tip and one line (writing) to the workshop. Each youth will have a decorated cupcake to take home.

CLAY FOR KIDS

An introduction to pottery with hands-on pottery wheel experience. Build a polyform clay project to take home.

YEAST BREAD DOUGH SCULPTING

July 27 | 1-3pm or 3-5pm

Ages 8 and older

Learn how to properly measure ingredients to create yeast breads. Successful kneading will be demonstrated along with dough sculpting. Participants will have sculpting yeast dough ready to bake at home.
