She had been going to her primary care physician, complaining that the scale wasnât moving downward, and was instead gaining weight, especially around her abdomen. That doctor sent Brutka for bloodwork, which always came back within normal ranges. âYou must be eating something youâre not putting down, because itâs not about a woman realizing something is wrong with her body. Itâs a fat person trying to hide that theyâre eating cake is what I got from him,â Brutka recalled. âYouâre just not telling me that youâre eating something bad. And that was not the case.â This went on for about six months. Her physician finally decided to send her to a gynecologist. âIâll never forget the last day I saw him before my diagnosis. Manchester Police Swear In Two New Officers
