The Legacy Begins in Columbus

For the first time, Women of Excellence arrives in Columbus—marking a powerful and historic moment for this community. As part of the 20th edition celebration of Who’s Who In Black Columbus, we proudly introduce this inaugural class, a distinguished group of women whose leadership, influence and impact are helping define excellence across the city and beyond. With this class, Columbus joins a nationally respected legacy that has recognized hundreds of exceptional women across the country.

On behalf of Real Times Media, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the 2026 Women of Excellence Columbus honorees. As members of this inaugural class, you are not only being recognized for your extraordinary achievements—you are becoming part of an elite network of Women of Excellence honorees across the country. Your leadership, resilience and commitment to service exemplify the very best of who we are. You are innovators, changemakers and visionaries whose impact reaches far beyond titles and accolades—transforming lives, strengthening institutions and inspiring generations to come.

We are proud to present this Book of Women, the official publication of the Women of Excellence Columbus Awards. Within these pages, you will find more than profiles—you will discover powerful stories of purpose, perseverance and progress. This publication stands as both a celebration and a historical record of the brilliance and influence of Black women in our community. We also take great pride in honoring our special award recipients, whose extraordinary contributions represent the pinnacle of leadership and service.

To the families, friends, mentors and colleagues who have supported these remarkable women—thank you. Your encouragement, belief and partnership have helped cultivate the excellence we celebrate today.

As we gather for this unforgettable evening, may we all be inspired by the power, grace and impact of these phenomenal women. The legacy of Women of Excellence begins here—and tonight, it grows even stronger.

Who’s Who In Black

An Unforgettable Celebration of Extraordinary Women

Welcome to the inaugural Who’s Who In Black Columbus Women of Excellence Awards and Induction Ceremony. This is a defining moment for our Columbus community. For the first time, we have the privilege of recognizing a dynamic group of women who represent excellence at the highest level—women who are accomplished, driven and committed to making a meaningful impact. They are leaders in their industries, advocates in their communities and examples of strength and purpose within their families. Their influence reaches far beyond their titles, shaping organizations, uplifting communities and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

What makes this program so powerful is not just the recognition, but the standard it sets. This inaugural class represents the foundation of Women of Excellence in Columbus. Among so many deserving candidates, only 50 women were selected—an honor that speaks to the caliber, influence and achievement represented here tonight. Each honoree brings a unique story, yet together they represent a collective force of excellence that defines this moment.

Women of Excellence is more than a celebration—it is a statement. It reflects the leadership, vision and impact of Black women who are shaping the future of this city in real and lasting ways. This moment is about recognizing that influence and elevating it for all to see.

As we celebrate this extraordinary class, we also acknowledge the significance of this beginning. The bar has been set. The legacy starts here.

I am incredibly proud to be part of this program and honored to help recognize such an exceptional group of women. Enjoy this evening—it is one you will not forget.
