hen they started their engines, it was Inside one of 6 pm and a fairly balmy 40 degrees, the snow was wet and heavy. A few Michigan’s most hours in, the temperature dropped by half, and the trails froze. demanding By then, turning back wasn’t part of the equation. Michigan’s inaugural 1,000 Mile Snowmobile snowmobile Challenge in February 2026 was not for the of heart - especially for the handful of challenges faint riders who chose to complete it in 24 hours, BY KIM KISNER CONTRIBUTING WRITER
rather than spread the miles across five days. Dave Hausbeck and his nephew, Adam were among them. IT’S NOT A RACE It’s not a race. It’s an endurance ride designed to test consistency as much as speed. Most teams now spread the distance across multiple days, taking in the terrain and the experience. But not Dave and Adam. They finished in 18 hours and 28 minutes. “Our helmets came off one time - at the end,” Dave said. An appropriate anecdote, since the name of their team was Team Finish Line. Gas stops came roughly every 100 miles. There was no lingering, no sitting, no real break in the rhythm. It was fuel, reset, and go. The goal was to keep moving. continued on page 8

“We didn’t talk much,” Adam said. “It was go, go, go,” Dave added. Around 2 a.m., the fog rolled in. Not just fog - ice fog. The kind that builds on goggles and machines, distorting visibility and forcing riders to rely on instinct and their instruments more than sight. “For over an hour, I couldn’t see his taillight,” Adam said. “The fog turned into ice fog, and I had about a quarter inch of ice on my goggles. I was constantly scraping it off just to see anything.” At times, the trail disappeared completely. What remained was a narrow line on a GPS screen and
the assumption that the sled ahead was on the same path. “You almost end up looking at the GPS more than the trail,” Dave said. By that point, the physical demands had settled in. Fatigue was there, but manageable. The real challenge was mental. “I knew I could physically do it,” Dave said. “But mentally, in that fog, it was different. Between about 4:30 and 7 in the morning was the hardest part.” The hours before sunrise stretched. Visibility came and went in waves as the cold deepened. The trail hardened, and the margin for error narrowed. continued on page 10

THEN THE SUN CAME UP “When the sun broke, it burned the fog off,” Dave said. “That was a breath of fresh air.” “It was by far the best part of the whole ride,” Adam added. The change wasn’t just visual, it reset everything: focus, energy, momentum. After nearly twelve hours in the dark, the daylight brought clarity and a sense that the end, while still distant, was finally within reach. BUT THE RIDE NEVER FULLY LETS UP There were stretches of rough trail up to 80 miles at a time - that forced them to stay loose and absorb constant impact. At one point, changing conditions made it difficult to keep the sleds cool, requiring them to pack snow into the cooling systems by hand. Earlier, they ran out of gas just short of a fuel stop, losing time but recovering quickly.
“Of 1,000 miles, there are 10,000 things that could go wrong,” Dave said. “But we were lucky, and we had a lot go right.” They had prepared for it. Dave had pre-run the route, and both riders understood the terrain and the demands. Their machines held up. Their pacing stayed consistent. And perhaps most importantly, they never had to worry about each other. With Polaris Command GPS, Dave could track Adam as a dot on the screen, moving with him along the trail. “I never had to check if he was there,” Dave said. “He was always there.” Adam saw it from the other side. “I learned a lot about Dave on this ride,” he said. “He’s more than twice my age, and I look up to him. He doesn’t give up. I knew he was cold, but he’d never say it. That’s something I’ll carry with me. When

I’m his age, I want to still be able to do something like this.” There wasn’t much conversation during the ride itself. There couldn’t be. The focus required was too constant, and the conditions too variable. But the connection was there - in the pacing, in the trust, in the understanding that neither one would fall off or slow down without reason. They finished just after noon, pulling into Grand Marais, where they had started. After nearly 19 hours on the sled, they finally stopped. “That was nice,” Dave said, simply. Adam was energized. “There was the relief, but also the excitement that we did it,” he said. “You think you’re going to be exhausted, but I felt more awake than I did at five in the morning. Once you know you’re done, it’s a different kind of energy.”

WHAT HAD THEY DONE EXACTLY? Dave explains the route: “We left from Grand Marais and headed to Marquette, then down to Manistique and over to the bridge. From there we went up to Brimley and then back to Grand Marais. That was one lap of 460 miles, so we repeated that for a second lap, leaving us 80 miles short, so we headed to Shingleton and back to Grand Marais.” At the end, there were photos and a hug. And then, almost immediately, the conversation shifted forward. THEY’LL DO IT AGAIN At its core, the 1,000 Mile Snowmobile Challenge is about more than endurance. Every mile supports fundraising efforts to send kids to summer camp, something both Dave and Adam were quick to emphasize. Riders cover their own expenses, and every dollar raised goes directly to the program. The Challenge officially began in New Brunswick, Canada, in 2021 as a nonprofit event founded by snowmobilers Rudi Fowler and Danny Lunn. What started as a small endurance ride has quickly grown into something much larger, with riders and supporters rallying around the cause. continued on page 12 MICHIGAN SNOWMOBILER + ORV • OCTOBER • 2026

Since 2021, the Challenge has raised well over half a million dollars, helping send kids to camp who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity. In its first year in Michigan, the Upper Peninsula event alone raised more than $36,000, all of which will stay in the state to support Michigan kids. The impact extends far beyond the riders themselves. The 1,000 Mile Challenge has drawn more than a million fans worldwide each year, reaching audiences across more than 10 countries. Riders, supporters, and communities rally around the cause—following along, sharing in the experience, and contributing in ways both big and small. For Dave and Adam, that support wasn’t lost on them. They were quick to acknowledge the people who donated and backed their ride, who are listed below. Dave and Adam raised $6,500. It’s what gives the miles meaning for them - and what keeps them coming back. For those involved, it becomes something more than a ride. It’s something people feel part of. When asked to describe the Challenge in one word, Dave said, “Consistency.” Adam followed with “Intense.” Different words, but the same meaning behind them. Because in the end, it’s not just about the miles - it’s the decision to keep moving, and to do it for the kids. Riders for the 2027 event can sign up November, 2026 by going to the website, 1000milechalleng.ca. Parents, relatives, neighbors, and teachers can sign kids up for camp in April following the event. •

Taking the

or as long as I can remember, snowmobiling and racing have been a part of my life, and it all started with my dad (Brent Anderson). He introduced me to snowmobiling at a very young age. While he never raced snowmobiles the way I eventually would, he spent some time grass drag racing and knew what it meant to have a passion for going fast. As a kid, I spent countless miles sitting in front of him on the sled, holding onto the bar pad and taking it all in. Those early rides were the beginning of something that would eventually become a huge part of my life. My dad has always been one of the biggest influences and supporters in my racing career. He bought me my first Mini Z 120 when I was just two-years-old and my first dirt bike at three. From there, he became much more than just my dad. He has been my mechanic, my coach, my biggest supporter, and my best friend throughout my entire life. A lot of what I’ve accomplished in racing can be traced back to the foundation he helped build for me from such a young age. continued on page 16

I started racing when I was fouryears-old, with motocross making up the majority of my racing career. I spent years competing on dirt bikes before eventually making the transition to snowmobile racing. I didn’t actually start racing sleds until I was 18, but once I got into it, the same competitive drive that had been there since I was a kid quickly took over. One of my proudest accomplishments in racing so far came at the 2026 I-500. It wasn’t necessarily the kind of race you dream about when you line up at the start, but it ended up being one of the most rewarding. Our sled went down on the
first lap and came into the pits for 30 laps. At that point, a lot of teams might have considered the day over, but our team went to work. We got the sled back together, put it back on the track, and kept fighting all day. By the time the checkered flag came out, we had worked our way back to 15th place and, most importantly, crossed the finish line. Anyone who knows the I-500 knows that simply making it to the end of that race is an accomplishment in itself. To go from being 30 laps down on the first lap to finishing the race made that result especially meaningful to me and everyone on our team.
16 | OCTOBER • 2026 • MICHIGAN SNOWMOBILER + ORV
Looking ahead to the 2027 season, my goals are a little different depending on which side of the team I’m standing on. As a team owner, I want to see AP Motorsports put together a Top10 finish at the I-500, while also having a Top-10 season for MIRA. At the same time, I’m also a racer for AP Motorsports, so personally, I’m focused on continuing to find speed, improve as a rider, and put our sled in a position to fight toward the front of the pack. Who got you into snowmobiling and when; and what was their influence on you with regard to the sport? My family has always had snowmobiles so I grew up around it. I probably started riding on my own around the age of five. When did you start racing and what is your proudest achievement so far on the track? I raced snowcross for one year in 2007, after 2007 I got into backcountry riding until 2025. In 2025 I joined owner and racer Jarrett Anderson to create AP Motorsports. Proudest achievement is finishing the I-500 our first year race. What is your career goal as an owner? My goals as a team are to enjoy time together with family and friends and being consistent on the track and finishing every race. The first year is a lot to learn and hope to continue to learn and grow and improve. What were the driving factors to start the race team? Jarrett Anderson called me to ask some questions about running sponsorships on the car I owned that was driven by our crew chief Todd Jackson. One thing led to another and out of the blue I called him back and said let’s race some sleds and I bought into the team. •

and I had both raced for another team in the past before stepping away from racing for a couple of years. Eventually, we started talking about getting a sled together and going racing on our own. The original plan was pretty simple: pick up a sled, have some fun, and see where it went. Then I made a phone call to my good friend and now team co-owner, Chris Preston. One thing led to another, and what started as an idea between two teammates quickly turned into a full-on race team. Chris brought a wealth of experience from owning a team in the car racing world, along with the knowledge, help, and perspective that came with that experience. What started as a conversation about racing a sled for fun has grown into AP Motorsports and a team with bigger goals for the future.

It started with a little kid sitting in front of his dad on a snowmobile, holding onto the bar pad and learning what it meant to love going fast. It grew through years of motocross, countless races, setbacks, and successes, and eventually brought me to snowmobile racing and the I-500. Who got you into snowmobiling and when; and what was their influence on you with regard to the sport? I got into snowmobile racing through my motocross community and friends. Started in the early G.L.A.S.S. Days, gave it up for some years then my brother-in-law got into the vintage oval racing and I decided to do it with him! When did you start racing and what is your proudest achievement so far on the track? I started in the mid 2000s, I left for a while then got back into it around 2019. I would have to say my proudest achievement so far would have been this past year at the I-500, from sled troubles and us not even being able to start the race, to the team doing an amazing job and being able to work our way back to a 15th place finish!

Who got you into snowmobiling and when; and what was their influence on you with regard to the sport? My dad was the one who first introduced me to snowmobiling. When I was a little kid my parents had brought home an Arctic Cat Kitty Cat snowmobile. Growing up in Marquette Mi, it feels like all we have is winter year round, so from a young age I have always been on a snowmobile. The snow in the UP is heavy & deep so growing up was always backcountry riding on mountain sleds.

When did you start racing and what is your proudest achievement so far on the track? I started racing for the 2026 season on snowmobiles, I came from a motocross background where I raced since I was around 11 years old. My proudest personal achievement on the track so far is coming together with the AP Motorsports team to finish in the top 15 at the SOO I-500 with only being on a sled 3 times total prior to that race. It was a huge mental game to be there racing at that magnitude with the heavy hitters and being able to run at a pace that not only kept us in a competitive spot but also at a pace to not let my team mates down who have been doing the sport for a little while! What is your career goal? My personal goals are to run a competitive season this upcoming year & be able to run in the top 5. How did you become part of this racing team? I became a part of this team with a random phone call from the team owner Jarrett Anderson who I have been long time friends with, we grew up racing motocross together & riding back country snowmobiles. He asked if I wanted to be apart of a new team that puts family first & can have fun while progressing & learning with every time on the track. I bought my first oval sled the next week (without ever seeing one in person) & showed up at the test track unsure of what to expect. •

We Have to Be at the Table Michigan has formal advisory groups specifically intended to bring trail-user perspectives into the process. The Snowmobile Advisory Workgroup advises on Michigan’s designated snowmobile trail system, while the Off-Road Vehicle Advisory
Accountability has to work both ways. If a club is expected to meet its obligations and deadlines, it is reasonable for that club to expect timely communication, clear
o you wait until your basement floods before you take precautions to protect it? Do you wait until something fails before you finally face the problem? Or do you prepare before the problem arrives? That is one way to think about membership in MISORVA. Membership is an investment in protecting the future of the trails and recreation you enjoy today. Karen Access doesn’t just happen. Trails don’t Middendorp Executive maintain themselves. Funding doesn’t Director automatically get where it needs to go. MISORVA Policies don’t always reflect what riders and the volunteers working on the ground are experiencing. Someone has to be paying attention.
Those meetings matter. MISORVA attends them. We listen to riders. We listen to clubs and grant sponsors. We bring forward problems. We ask questions. We work with DNR leadership and staff, along with other partners, to find solutions. Many of our DNR partners are passionate about recreation, and the clubs and grant sponsors working directly with them know how valuable a strong partnership can be. But good government programs also require accountability. Our clubs and trail maintainers are not DNR employees. They are community organizations and volunteers doing an enormous amount of work to provide Michigan’s recreational opportunities. Yet they must navigate contracts, policies, deadlines, paperwork, and changing requirements to keep those programs moving.

policies, and dependable administration from its government partners as well. When that doesn’t happen, someone needs to ask why. I’ve Watched This Program Evolve I’ve been involved with organized snowmobiling since 2000, and I’ve learned a lot along the way. I’ve seen things happen that probably shouldn’t have. I’ve also watched people work together and accomplish things that dramatically improved snowmobiling in Michigan. Snowmobiling today isn’t what it was in the early 1980s. It has evolved into an impressive statewide trail system through the dedication of boots-on-the-ground volunteers. Michigan now has more than 6,300 miles of designated snowmobile trails and thousands of miles of ORV, ATV and motorcycle riding opportunities. That didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people participated. Recreation Keeps Changing Many snowmobilers are also ORV riders. They own side-by-sides, ride dirt bikes and ATVs, and enjoy Jeeps and other four-wheel-drive vehicles. We’re hunters, anglers, and people who simply love being outdoors. We want access to Michigan’s public lands, but we also want those lands protected so they remain available for the next generation. And the challenges keep changing. Years ago, we couldn’t have predicted COVID or the dramatic growth in sideby-side ownership. We couldn’t have known exactly how different machines and different riding styles would interact as trail systems evolved. Today we hear concerns from dirt bike riders, ATV riders, side-by-side riders, snowmobilers and full-size vehicle enthusiasts. Different users have different

needs, and conflicts can arise when everyone tries to enjoy the same trail network. Is separating every user group the answer? Probably not in every situation. Probably not in most situations. The better question is: How do we bring the motorized recreation community together to find solutions that protect both access and the resource? That’s the conversation we need to have. Who Speaks When There’s a Problem? This may be the most important question of all. What happens when a club is struggling with a grant? What happens when reimbursement is delayed? What happens when a policy isn’t working on the ground? What happens when a proposed change could affect thousands of riders? We speak up Sometimes that means alerting riders to a call to action. Sometimes it means a survey, emails or phone calls to elected officials. Sometimes it means MISORVA stepping in to help a club work through an issue with its DNR contacts. And sometimes it means sitting across the table from decision-makers and asking questions that need to be asked. Individual riders can—and should— speak for themselves. Attend public meetings. Ask questions. Contact your elected officials. Share your experiences. But there is also tremendous value in having an organization that sees the statewide picture, understands the history, attends the meetings and maintains relationships year after year. And before anyone gets riled up, let’s acknowledge something: Has MISORVA made mistakes? Absolutely. Did MSA make mistakes?
OCTOBER • 2026 • MISORVA.ORG
Absolutely. Have we helped achieve important advancements for motorized recreation? Absolutely. We consistently hear the criticism that MISORVA is “all about snowmobiles.” The record tells a broader story. The Section 305 budget amendment addressing accountability for restricted recreation funds applies to both snowmobile and ORV funds. The effort to remove the sunset from Michigan’s ORV legislation focused on protecting the future of the ORV program. MISORVA advocated for both. Are those earth-shattering accomplishments? I’m not going to pretend they are. In fact, with Section 305, we still need to see how the language is implemented and what it ultimately means for the dollars that remain in each restricted fund. But someone had to raise the issue. Someone had to have the conversations. Someone had to keep pushing. Go back even further. The effort to constitutionally protect Michigan’s recreational funds didn’t simply appear one day because government decided it was a good idea. Organized recreation advocates, including MSA leadership, helped protect those user-generated dollars and restrict their use. Does it need revision? Yes, and we are currently meeting about that. That’s advocacy. Sometimes the result is a major statutory change. Sometimes it’s one sentence in a budget. Sometimes it’s stopping a bad idea before most riders ever hear about it. And sometimes it’s simply getting the right people talking to each other in the same arena. Not every effort succeeds. Not every decision goes our way. But you cannot influence a conversation you’re never part of. That’s one of MISORVA’s most important roles.

Moving Forward
Together
O
n August 22, 2026, MISORVA hosted its first Motorized Recreation Meeting in Gaylord, Michigan—and it was a great first step toward bringing motorized recreation enthusiasts together to have meaningful conversations about the future. The purpose of this meeting was simple: to bring people together, start conversations, share ideas, listen to different perspectives, and look at how we can work together to strengthen motorized recreation in Michigan. Karyn This meeting wasn’t about who was right or Robare wrong. It wasn’t about taking sides. It was about President finding common ground and asking an important Executive Committee question: How can ORV enthusiasts and snowmobilers work together to protect and improve the opportunities we all enjoy? We were excited to have six clubs represented at the meeting, along with representatives from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and MISORVA. The willingness of everyone in attendance to participate in open and honest conversation made the meeting both productive and positive. Finding Common Ground A large part of our discussion centered around ORVs and snowmobiles working together and sharing Michigan’s trail system. While our seasons and machines may be different, there is a tremendous amountof common ground between the two groups. We all want places to ride.We all want quality trails. We all depend on access to public and private lands. We all benefit from responsible riders, strong clubs, dedicated volunteers, and
MISORVA’s First Motorized Recreation Meeting
good relationships with landowners and communities. The question isn’t simply, “Who gets the trail?” The better question is: “How can we work together to make the most of the trails and riding opportunities we have?” That conversation brought forward many fantastic ideas. Some involved looking at ways different types of motorized recreation could share routes and riding areas, while others focused on communication, cooperation, trail development, and finding creative solutions that could benefit more than one group. Not every idea will be easy. Not every solution will work everywhere. And certainly, not everyone will agree on every issue. But that’s okay. Progress doesn’t happen overnight. One Conversation at a Time Real change takes time. It takes communication, patience, trust cooperation, and a willingness to keep coming back to the table—even when the answers aren’t immediately obvious. This first meeting wasn’t intended to solve every issue facing motorized recreation in Michigan. Instead, it was intended to start something. And we believe it did. The ideas shared at the table gave us plenty to think about and, more importantly, plenty of reasons to continue thec onversation. When people who care about motorized recreation sit down together and genuinely listen to one another, new possibilities begin to emerge. We need to remember that building better relationships between ORV enthusiasts and snowmobilers is a process. It may take several meetings, new ideas, some trial and error, and plenty of discussion before we see significant changes. That’s why we’re committed to keeping the conversation going. continued on page 26 MISORVA.ORG

More Voices, More Ideas Our next Motorized Recreation Meeting is planned for the Upper Peninsula, with the date and location still to be determined. We hope the next meeting brings even more people to the table—including additional snowmobile and ORV clubs, riders, organizations, and other recreational enthusiasts. The more perspectives we have, the better. Everyone who enjoys Michigan’s outdoors has something valuable to contribute. An idea from one group may help solve a problem for another. A concern raised by one rider may lead to a conversation that benefits everyone. That’s what collaboration is all about. The Beginning of Something Bigger The August22 meeting in Gaylord was just the beginning. We know there are challenges ahead. We know there will be disagreements. We know that finding ways for different types of recreation to work together won’t happen overnight. But we also know that nothing changes if
we aren’t willing to start the conversation. MISORVA is excited about where these conversations can lead. We believe there is an opportunity to build stronger relationships between ORV enthusiasts and snowmobilers, find creative ways to share and improve trail opportunities, and work together to protect Michigan’s motorized recreation future. Thank you to the six clubs who attended our first meeting, to the DNR representatives who joined the conversation, and to everyone who brought ideas, questions, and an open mindto the table. This is only the beginning. Stay tuned for information about our next meeting in theUpper Peninsula. We hope you’ll join us, bring your ideas, and most importantly, come ready to listen and work together. Because progress may not happen overnight—but if we keep talking, keep listening, and keep working together, we can make progress one conversation at a time. Together, let’s build as tronger future for motorized recreation in Michigan. ■
HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE continued from page 24
When an issue develops, we don’t have to introduce ourselves. We have relationships with DNR staff, advisory groups, legislators, clubs, and grant sponsors built over many years. We can explain where we’ve been, what is happening now, and what riders and trail maintainers are experiencing on the ground. Membership Is About Tomorrow It is easy to look at a $40 membership and ask: “What do I get?” I would ask a different question: What do you want your recreation to look like five, ten or twenty years from now? The trails we enjoy today were built by people who thought beyond their next ride. They volunteered. They attended meetings. They built relationships. They fought for funding. They worked for access. They changed laws and policies.
26 | OCTOBER • 2026 • MISORVA.ORG
And in many cases, they did that work for riders they would never meet. Now it’s our turn The decisions being discussed today will help shape the opportunities available to the riders who come after us. Membership gives MISORVA the ability to keep showing up—to attend meetings, ask questions, educate decision-makers, communicate with riders and work with our partners. You don’t buy insurance because you expect your basement to flood tomorrow. You buy it because protecting something before you lose it makes a whole lot more sense than trying to rebuild it afterward. Think of your MISORVA membership the same way. Protect the trails. Protect the partnerships. Protect your voice. And most importantly, help protect the future of Michigan’s motorized recreation. ■

Michigan’s Treasure Trove Hildebrand’s Marine Salvage in Coldwater is the snowmobilers and watercraft enthusiasts dream come true.
BY STACEY DRZEWIECKI CONTRIBUTING WRITER
T
ucked just off South Fremont Road in Coldwater, Michigan, sits a place that feels part junkyard, part treasure trove, and part living museum of the Midwest’s boating/ snowmobile culture. Hildebrand Marine Salvage, known more casually among locals as simply “Hildebrand’s,” has been serving boaters, snowmobilers, and watercraft enthusiasts since 1962. Now in its third generation of family ownership, it has become the largest marine and snowmobile salvage yard in Michigan—a sprawling nine-acre patchwork

of engines, hulls, and components that draws customers from across the country and even overseas. For the uninitiated, a salvage yard may conjure images of rust and ruin. At Hildebrand’s, however, what first appears to be a chaotic sprawl is actually an intricate library of parts, each piece cataloged by memory, intuition, and years of mechanical know-how. Mercury and Johnson outboards line one corner; Chrysler parts, long out of production, occupy another. Across the yard, the “Sea-Doo Clinic” stands as a specialty

For many, it’s the only place they can find the obscure components that keep their machines running. The Hildebrand family has turned salvaging into something of an art form. What started as a small operation in the early 1960s has grown with every passing decade, evolving alongside the needs of boaters and snowmobilers. Oldtimers in the community recall walking through the yard with founder Max “The Bandit” Hildebrand himself, pointing out parts that seemed beyond saving, only to watch him coax them back into working condition. Today, his son carries that same instinct forward,

Ice Ovals to Ditchbangers Austin Leeck Isn’t Slowing Down BY DOMINIC SANTINA CONTRIBUTING WRITER PHOTOGRAPHY BY ASHLEY LIZZIE
F
ew names in Michigan Snowmobile racing are more familiar than Austin Leeck. Whether you are talking about Ice Oval racing, Snocross, or the newly popular Ditchbangers, he’s done it all. Leeck originally got inspired to race by his dad, Tim, who raced from 1988 to 2001, and all Leeck wanted to do was do what he knew. “With me being around it year after year throughout my childhood, I just wanted to race. I looked up to my dad and always wanted to follow in his footsteps,” said Leeck. continued on page 42

During the 2010-2011 winter, he got his first taste of racing, but it wasn’t on an ice oval. After purchasing an Arctic Cat Sno Pro, Leeck set out to race a single round of the MSXRA, one of Michigan’s regional snocross series races in Alpena. However, after a practice session in Gaylord, a single race turned into the entire season. While that season helped Leeck break into racing, he was looking for his opportunity to begin Ice Oval racing and needed someone to take a chance. Paul Eckert and Eckert Racing Team #88, answered my call. “In the summer of 2013, I reached out to several race teams to see if they were looking to bring on a rookie. Paul and Kyle were the ones who took a gamble for the 2014 season. We raced the entire MIRA circuit and the Soo I-500 that year. I had a ton of fun and really appreciate Paul and Kyle for giving me the opportunity because if it was not for them, I really don’t know where I would be at within the oval world today,” mentioned Leeck. continued on page 44
